This spot is SO popular at the farmers market, I see every other person walking around with a cup. I ordered the original and it was so yum and refreshing esp on a hot day. It's def fresh, you can see them squeezing sugarcane in the back. Since it's popular and freshly made, the wait can take some time. It's also a bit pricey ($10 I believe). Pro tip - add some black salt! They have it near the straws and this makes the sugarcane taste SO good bc it balances out the sweetness. read more

Cue the song...These are a few of my favorite things... I've been a customer for several years since discovering them at Castro Valley fall festival. They have pop up at events and are at the farmers market Irvington- Fremont and NOW Niles - Fremont. Check their IG for updates on where they will be. I love their matcha sugarcane. I've gotten half gallon just sugarcane juice to go. My advice is that they should remove the seeds of the kumquat before juicing it into the sugarcane. I was taken aback when sipping it and didn't expect it. It can be a choking hazard for people and kids. read more

A nice treat while strolling around the San Ramon Farmer's Market. While I appreciated the freshness of the juice, I think I would have enjoyed the sugarcane juice alone and without the lychee mixed in. The texture was a bit too thick and milk-like (even though it had no milk). read more

Love that there is a cane juice space in San Ramon at the Farmer's market!!! I try to grab these every weekend when I can. The sugarcane juice is fresh, concentrated and refreshing!! YUM. Perfect for a sunny day like yesterday. The last time I had sugarcane was in LA several months back! My recommendation is to go early as they might run out of the flavor you're looking for. I got there at around 11am and they were out of the sugarcane with coconut bits. Service was helpful in answering my questions and the stall is easy to find. 10/10 would recommend! We were at the Castro Valley Fall Fest and it was sooo hot out. Luckily, we came across Sweetcanes Sugarcane Juice! I love that they have so many different flavors for their sugarcane juice. Whatever you're feeling like, they're likely to have. We ended up ordering the lychee sugar cane juice and it was perfect. The drink was refreshing and exactly what we needed on a 90 degree day. This place makes it so much easier to get up in the morning and head to the farmers market! They often have a huge line, so it's best to get there early to avoid the wait. But trust me, it's totally worth it. The sugar cane juice here is the best I've had, with amazing flavor combinations. My favorite is the mojito. The mint adds such a refreshing touch. I've also tried the lychee and kumquat flavors, and both are delicious. The staff is super sweet and accommodating too. When I ordered a 32 oz mojito, they made a bit too much and gave me the extra in another cup, which was such a thoughtful gesture. read more

Visited at the San Ramon farmers market (2nd row from the Bollinger Canyon today). Matcha Cane (5/5): delicious! Slightly creamy. Sweet but not too sweet. Wow, I'm so impressed by the quality of their sugarcane drinks and customer service. Matcha cane was my fav! I've tried matcha sugarcane at other places before and the ratio was always a little off. But this place really got the recipe down! The ratio is on point because you can taste both the matcha and sugarcane juice without one overpowering the other. My boyfriend got the kumquat cane which has more of a tangy, citrus taste and super refreshing. I like that they used real fruits and the drinks were not overly sweet. Definitely coming back to try the other flavors! read more

This is by far the best sugar cane juice I ever had! Compared to even places like Hawaii or Taiwan, this is far superior and actual fresh sugarcane with no added sugar. You can taste how crisp it is. We first tried it in Castro Valley before finding it at the San Ramon Farmers market. We liked it so much that we searched on Sunday to see where we would find them. We found them in Livermore farmers market and drove all the way to get it. If you like pure sugar cane juice, this is the place to get it from. read more

Sweetcanes has definitely been the most popular booth at the Dublin Farmers Market so I HAD to try it! I've had sugarcane juice quite a bit in SoCal/LA and was so sad coming back to the East Bay and not having many places (if any at all) to get my fix. But Sweetcanes is SO GOOD! I love their variety of flavors, but a great staple/go-to is the coconut one. I would say my only critique would be I wish the straws were bigger. The coconut clogs up the normal straw sizes so maybe bring your reusable boba straw when you try them out lol! read more

Oh man! I am hooked on Sweetcanes! I love me some sugarcane juice. I usually travel to Elk Grove for my sugarcane fix and I'm glad to have Sweetcanes somewhat closer to me. In addition to this stall they have at the San Ramon Farmers Market on Saturdays, they also have a stall at the Livermore Farmers Market on Sundays from 9am-1pm. Their stall is near the corner of Second Stand S L St. Make sure to check their Instagram page before heading there because they may be at a special event elsewhere. My personal favorite is the matcha cane. Looking forward to trying their other flavors such as watermelon cane and strawberry cane. read more

I feel like some places that sell flavored sugar cane juice, the flavors overpower the drink but Sweetcanes do an excellent job at balancing both flavors. I had their drinks at the San Ramon farmers market. The wait wasn't too bad and they were probably more busy due to the nice warm weather. - coconut cane: mixed with coconut water, comes with coconut meat cubed, very refreshing - passion cane: real passion fruit so it has seeds, overall tart - lychee cane: lychee blended into the sugar cane juice so it has lychee bits, on the sweet side I really liked all three but lychee has to be my favorite! read more

Growing up, I was never really a fan of sugarcane juice. Being of Asian decent, I've had it multiple times and never liked the flavor... fast forward to 2 weekends ago, my daughter and I were wandering around the San Ramon's farmers market and got thirsty so we decided to give it a try because if anything, my husband likes sugar cane juice... He ended up only get a sip because I couldn't stop drinking it!! It was so refreshing, not overly sweet. We got the lychee one and it had bits of lychee floating around. This place is soooo good!! I grew up on sugarcane so I'm pretty selective about the "freshness" of sugarcane juice but Sweetcanes is 10/10 in terms of freshness and quality. They press their canes on the spot, which is fun to watch as you wait in their understandably long lines at the farmers markets. They have a bunch of different flavors that also use fresh fruit juices, but my favorites are definitely the watermelon and matcha cane! They pop up at several different locations, but I usually see them at the San Ramon farmers market on Saturdays. If you've lived in the Bay Area long enough, you know that sugarcane can only be found in the South Bay! So excited to have this spot be in the east bay and be delicious. My go-to is usually the kumquat or the watermelon, but I recently tried the coconut one and it was just as refreshing and tasty as the other drinks on the menu. First of all, the service was top notch. It was my first time trying a sugar cane drink and I did not know what to get! I was greeted with a smile and they were so helpful in my decision on what flavor to get and explained the process on how the natural juices were made. It was a tough decision because all their flavors sounded amazing, but I ended up going with the matcha cane and I had no regrets. The drink was the perfect amount of sweetness and had that slight natural matcha bitterness that complimented the sugarcane so well. My girlfriend got the strawberry cane and that was really refreshing for the hot day in the farmer's market. 11/10 would recommend! I want to go back to try all their flavors. The produce here was very fresh and so much of it. The people were so nice to. The prices were from great to Bay area prices. So a little of both. They divided the stalls in a little order so it made sense. It was easy to shop there. A lot of dog friendly places to. It's a great one to go to if you can.

I immediately lined up for the most popular line, the Koja truck. They had two other trucks and at least one of them was also Korean BBQ. I ordered the Koja Chicken Combo, which included their "sandwich", waffle cut (Kamikaze) fries with some creative toppings, and a drink. The Sandwich looked as if hash browns formed the bread but it was actually like a fried rice cake. Meat had some excellent marinated grilled chicken and a slice of pineapple with some greens. Pretty darn tasty with interesting textures. The fries were also very good - crispy, not oily, and smothered with BBQ beef, kimchi, and an interesting blend of red sauce and mayo. I am now a fan of Koja - I'll just need to schedule more afternoon meetings in San Ramon on Wednesday from now on!

To make matters worse, they served the side of cucumber salad in a lidless plastic container wrapped only in thin foil--which predictably spilled everywhere. Save your money and bypass the enticing smell. I am officially writing this to remind myself (and everyone else) to keep walking!

Free Parking is available on the Market Place across from Central Park, but its likely going to be a zoo there. * They split the park in half - one side for folks to have picnics, chill, eat, and listen to the live bands that rotate throughout the day. They also have dance troupes too. No kites here. * The other side of the park closer to the baseball/soccer fields are a free for all for kite flying. Here you'll get neck strain trying to see all those kites in the sky. Our rambunctious 5yo loved running around here. * They also have a DJ and some sort of professional/expert kite flyers near the Skateboard park, with some impressively designed kites. * City Hall is open for kid's crafts and a puppet show. You also get access to clean bathrooms inside. * They have tons of vendor booths and food stalls lined up along the parking lots and fields. * And if music, food, chillaxing and just admiring the kites is too boring, they also have carnival games and rides in the area between Iron Horse Middle School and the entrance to Central Park. Definitely recommend this Festival since its normally sunny and windy in San Ramon during Memorial Day.

There's a lot of local vendors and businesses that table. There's arts and crafts for the kids. It's enjoyable walking around and see what there is offer. The park/splash pad is nearby if children want to play. Food can be a little expensive, so we pack our lunches or eat beforehand when coming here. I am actually very impressed with their garage system. I constantly see people sorting through to ensure the correct items are disposed in garbage, recycle and compost. We enjoy making the kites and trying to fly the kites in the field. It is fun to be out on the field flying and watching all these kites. Parking can be difficult at times, but they do have some paid parking lots nearby. I have also seen people walk through the iron horse trail to this event.
