We were paying $471.04 a month for a 10 x10 storage unit. (It was actually an 8 x 8. We measured.) We had already paid for the month we moved out. We moved on the 5th of the month. We asked for a prorated refund and were refused. The person in the office says they don't give refunds and that we would have access the remainder of the month. This did not happen. We were locked out that day. The unit had become mold ridden and the ceiling was crumbling. Photos below.

I've also visited my unit multiple times and never seen or heard of such things that were mentioned in the other reviews about homeless people living there. I don't believe that. Your stuff will be safe here and they are professional about their property. In fact, I know the management does property walks multiple times a day to ensure the safety of the area. I ended up starting out with a larger unit and then wanted to downsize to something smaller. The management was extremely helpful and accommodating towards this unit move! I don't have 1 negative thing to say about this business. In fact, I recommend them!

But the letter also states this is due to "market forces". It was a promotional rate in the first paragraph but now it's market forces. So this is a bait and switch sorta business. Don't store here if you are picking it because it is cheaper than other locations, they are just trying to trick you into renting a space and then DOUBLE THE PRICE because all your stuff is inside and they figure you won't move it. Things are not going great right now - hence most of my life going into a storage unit. Chris was so kind and thoughtful. He made me (and my family who was helping me) feel so welcomed and comfortable.
