Upon calling Aloha Nail Salon, they made sure I knew exactly where to find them since Google Maps currently gives the wrong directions. They're actually located on the AMC Theater side, which was very easy to find with this information. From the moment I walked in, everyone was cheerful and welcoming. I went here yesterday to get a full set for Mother's Day. The experience started off fine. I explained what I wanted, which was a peach colored ombre nail and I asked if the lady could do it and she said that she could but she'd have to add a little bit of glitter, which sounded fine to me... Little did. I know that she was just going to dab a tiny little bit of peach at the top of my nail and try and fill in the space with glitter underneath, which really was not ombre effect,which is fine if you can't do it just explain that that's not in your repertoire. Don't pretend you know what you're doing. They had a bunch of nails to look at that that has exquisite designs on them, so I'm somewhat surprised that they couldn't accomplish a simple ombre effect. When she was doing the nail, she kept asking me if I like it, but wouldn't give me a second long enough to look at it and I was trying to trust her process but I told her after it was completed and after I got a better look at my nails. that I did not like the finish look. She fixed it for me, but I could tell that she was frustrated. She buzzed off the "ombre" and painted them a solid peach. She said that she would waive the change of color fee even though I decided to use the same color peach just doing it solid color since they couldn't do the special effects that I wanted, I felt that her bringing that up was to make me feel bad. She ended up painting them the solid color of peach and She still charged me $75 for the nails, which I found to be steep considering that she couldn't even complete what I asked her for, you think she would have charged me for the normal cost without a design since I did not get the desired effect. The nails look bad and definitely not worth my money. She left a bunch of glue underneath my nails and I asked her if this was going to be cleaned up and she said it would wash off with water, I told her that I don't think it would and she came over and reluctantly buzzed all the hardened glue from under my nails, but left quite a bit that I had to take care of at home afterward, I felt like she was rushed and frustrated with me because I didn't like the finish result of her "ombre effect", I only wish I would have taken a pic. I will not be returning to this nail salon. My nails hurt the next day, and they look like press ons which at this point I wish I would have done, they feel thick and clunky. It did not feel very welcoming or nice. Also, just to let you all know they expect you to bring a cash tip, even though they have little Zelle, and Venmo card sitting in their cart there saying you can tip them with that... she told me it was okay for the first visit but next time I would need to bring cash...she made one customer leave to get cash and kind of gave her a difficult time for not bringing it. I will not be returning here. I left very upset. I rarely spend money on myself and tried to do a nice thing for Mother's Day, won't be doing that again. I'd rather pay for $10 press on nails then deal with that. read more

7/14/25 My daughter just got her nails done at this place for the first time. She was charged $90 for gelX. Would you pay $90 for this? It's not even the same shade. At least have the integrity to just say "I can't replicate your request" instead of going through the whole process and charging her for it. read more

I haven't gone to get my nails done in forever. So I decided to go and meet up with a girlfriend. The guy who did my nails seemed rushed and annoyed. I didn't look at my nails right away until I left. I am so disappointed how my nails came out. It looks so messy. Honestly would not go back and opt to go somewhere else or maybe even do a better job at home. My biggest regret is tipping so well, the look in face when he saw that. I went back to sit with my friend and he grabbed my hand and put oil on my cuticles saying he forgot. I know that's a little thing but it showed how rushed he was. Save your money and nails and go somewhere else. I am giving three stars because the ladies upon enter ring greeted us and seemed nice. I will say my friend's nails came out great! read more

Aloha was able to squeeze me in for a mani-pedi on short notice and they did a great job. Lauren did my pedicure and took a lot of care to get it right. Her work is really clean and precise. When discussing our dissatisfaction, we had one employee taking pictures of me, one giggling and talking trash with her customer. I find it interesting that most of this businesses 5 star reviews have no picture of yelper or work done. Each finger was different size/ shape. Gelx is pretty hard to mess up and yetttt, it happened. Would not recommend this nail salon. Paid full price for 2 sets not well done. And charged for "gel polish removal" on toes, which came with cuts from the drill and burning of the nail beds. Not to mention the charge for some polka dots. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to pay full price for pain, blood, and ugly nails. This was hands down the worst nail experience of my life. I went in expecting a relaxing, quality mani-pedi--and instead walked out looking like I tried to do my nails blindfolded during an earthquake. First off, the nail tech clearly didn't know how to use the drill properly. She was way too aggressive and managed to cut multiple fingers and toes. No change in technique My nails were filed into different shapes on each hand. One is square, one is almond, one is... I don't even know what that one is. When we (very politely) said we weren't happy with the results and pointed out the injuries and poor quality, they shrugged and told us we still had to pay full price. No discount. No apology. So to recap: - My fingers and toes are cut and sore - My nails look awful - I paid a ridiculous amount for this torture Avoid this place like the plague. Rushed through my gel manicure.. didn't even cut cuticles or the side of my nail bed. I was charged for the most expensive manicure even though she rushed my nails. Paint wasn't covering my entire nails... the side of my middle finger was filed which has now turned red and very painful. I went to speak to the woman regarding the service she provided and blamed me for agreeing to have "extra strong gel" when I wasnt told it would be more... then when I explained thats not very fair to charge so much and do half the work. I was asked to sit down AFTER so she could clean up my nails. I would think you'd just complete the full service before you over charge your customer. So disappointed in this nail salon. I requested an appointment the next morning for "GENTLE gel polish removal". I got my nails done with gel for the holidays. The gel had been on my nails for about 5 weeks. I've done this a couple times over the years. Mostly I have my nails natural. They text me right away, hence the two stars and not one. When I arrived I reminded the girl I wanted the gel polish removed gently. She stood in the salon and loudly told me she couldn't do that without painting them again. I said no, I want my natural nails. She kept saying loudly "your nails won't be pretty." I assured her that I knew what they'd look like, just please remove the polish gently. She finally conceded and grabbed her drill. It's been a few years since I've had gel on my nails and I didn't remember the gentlest way to remove it but I didn't think it was with the drill. So I asked her is this the gentlest way to remove the gel? I normally have strong nails but I understand that until they grow out they'll be thin. She said yes. I saw that she wasn't completely removing the all the polish so I was hopeful that she'd change her method once we got down to the actual nail. But, no she didn't. She eventually drilled all the way down, shredding my natural nails. Then she insisted on buffing them. I walked out so disappointed and of course I googled the best way to keep most of the integrity of your nails while removing gel and it said don't use a drill and definitely don't buff them. She did both. I'm so upset that Vivian didn't just listen and do what I asked her to do. read more

Decided to try this new place my first time coming here. Nice $25 deluxe pedicure deal I added $15 gel since it lasts longer. Earlier in the day we called in for 2 pedicures for 10:30am. We got there before our scheduled time but was not helped and two white ladies not sure if they were walk ins or had an appointment but they were taken before us. (We are Asian) Lauren eventually help my sister first as she was about to walk out and not wait (it was 20 mins after) as she assisted my sister she told me another lady coming in but running late due to car trouble, I was helped 40 minutes later. The lady that did my gel pedicure truly rushed mines as several toes were unevenly painted and not filed smoothly. Not to mention crooked. My right big toe is bumpy and color uneven so disappointed. Not much of a massage and not much was cleaned up but I still left a $5 tip. Two other ladies was helped before me as I kept waiting and I should have been next. Mines started 20 mins after my sister's and yet mines finished before her. I hope you folks run things smoothly next time. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at this little boutique tucked in the corner close to AMC Theatres and 88 Ranch. I had requested for an appointment earlier on in the day and they responded promptly with their availability. Upon entering, you can tell it is maintained well and basically spotless. I had opted for a basic gel manicure and it's safe to say that I'm so pleased with the end result! Arrived to America from an island and didn't know much about nail and all it's products. This place took forever and my kids nails look sooooo bad. Look literally worse then when we came. Been here for almost 2 hours just to get a manicure and pedicure. The way they cut and shaped them looks horrible. The first bad sign was that the lady how on plastic gloves that didn't even fit as she started. Came home and her cuticles hadn't even been pushed back. I think with nail salons some technicians are good and some are bad, and we just got the worst technician since I brought my daughter, sooooo frustrating.
