I absolutely love this place. I've been getting my nails done for a long time and have been to plenty of studios over the years, but few of them have left the impression that D'or Nail Lounge does! You will be completely taken care of from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. They are kind and accommodating, use high quality products, have skilled technicians, and truly care about their clients. It's very important to me to have a nail tech who listens and truly wants to give you what you are looking for! I see Moon, and she always does a fantastic job!!! I leave happy every single time! She is meticulous to the point to where I never have to ask her to correct anything. I have been here a few times and Jenny and Gina are just the best for nail designs! I haven't really had anyone else but I keep going back to them because they are so good! :) I have Gina a challenge today and she executed my nails so well and made them look almost exactly like my inspo! I'm going to Stagecoach this weekend so my nails needed to be perfect and they are. :) Everyone is also always so friendly there. I'm giving D'or Nails 2 stars because Lynn did a great job on my nails. However, Lisa did my pedicure, and the service felt very rushed and rough, like she had somewhere else to be. I had specifically requested that my manicure and pedicure be done separately so I could relax during the pedicure, but the experience was anything but relaxing. I even paid for upgraded services, including extra massage time, lotions, and callus remover, yet the entire pedicure was finished in under 50 minutes. There was absolutely no soak time before or during the treatment, and my heels actually looked worse by the end. And when I pointed this out, Lisa began cutting the skin on my heels with cuticle clippers. I had to ask the front desk to translate that I did not want my skin cut. I highly recommend skipping the upgraded pedicure services, it's not worth the extra cost. And if you're looking for a relaxing experience, I wouldn't recommend Lisa for a pedicure. read more

I called to see if they could take a walk in, the gal who answered was friendly and told me to come on in. The salon itself is beautiful, I really like the decor and it seemed very clean. I had a couple broken nails that needed repair so I ended up paying around $60 for a fill (normally I pay more like $45-50 for a fill, maybe they charged me extra for having to repair the broken nails?) The tech who worked on me was quiet but nice enough, I really like the shape and quality of the nails - except as soon as I got home I realized there were scraped ridges on 3 of my nails. I'm assuming I bumped them when the gel was curing under the light, but I didn't notice. I'm surprised the tech didn't notice or didn't say anything since she looked them over really well before I left. That is on me for not going back when I noticed that, I'm sure they would have fixed them if I asked but I didn't have time to go back. You can only tip in cash but they do have an ATM inside which is convenient, I'm not sure if it charges a fee or not as I didn't have to use it. But they do have a handy set of tweezers attached to to the ATM to help anyone with long nails retrieve their credit card from the ATM. I thought that was a useful creative touch. This would have been four stars but while I was there, there was another customer in there who had some kind of bad experience. The entire time I was getting my nails done, she was making loud complaints and all the staff was just ignoring her. The manager came out at one point and sort of pushed another employee out of the back and loudly said "I'm busy, you talk to her" which just seemed like an odd way to handle the situation. The whole thing made the experience really awkward and it was even odder that the staff just pretended it wasn't happening. I've worked in customer service for years and while you cannot acontrol an unhappy customer, ignoring them while they ruin everyone else's experience isn't really the way I would have handled things. read more

The staff is amazing, my nails are always perfect, they play great music and create such a great experience for you. I don't usually write reviews but with the service I've experienced here, I had too. I had originally gone in for gel x but the next day one of my nails popped off and the design was chipping. I had called to ask to have it fixed and they had scheduled me originally just to fix the one nail. I went in for my appointment and I had sat down and explained to the nail tech how I don't think the set will last etc. she offered to do a new a whole new set for me. No one has ever had these complaints about me...it's actually DIABOLICAL. But I will say your front desk girl is UNPROFESSIONAL. I was at my last salon for 3 years and only left because I wanted something new. And the one before that was too far and they all love me...as I became family. Your comment is absurd and unbelievable most of YOUR STAFF is not skilled. Your front desk assistant is a smart mouth and disrespectful. You need to spend more time in your salon, with training and with customer service. My only complaint to you was when I got my nails and toes done and it didn't last a week so I requested someone else to service me. And this week one of your nail techs was getting ready to glue my nail because it was lifting. I asked her not to do it twice. She was going to glue it and put acrylic over it instead of clipping away everything that was lifted first to apply the acrylic or taking it off, so I opted out of getting my nails done. I guess the woman I tagged here with a complaint makes all the staff cry too!!!! I'm not the only one with this complaint. I don't even have time to address this or don't normally do reviews but I am making time today as this needs to be addressed!!! There are better nail salons who have skilled employees and techs and who are masters at customer service. You need to do better and ELEVATE yours!!!! My new nail salon is STUNNING and prides themselves in customer service. Finally, I have high standards yes because I'm paying $200 every 2 weeks and I have referred business. They are consistently late when I have a scheduled appointment and have had scheduling mix ups on multiple occasions (scheduling me with someone who is not at that location or off). So much I could say. They start off nice, but they are very pretentious, and I'm sure they want a certain clientele and black people aren't it. They blocked me on there phone and I have no idea why. The only thing I could come up with is that I didn't leave a tip. They charge $3 to use your card and you can't tip on your card. I confronted them about blocking me and the manager claimed they didn't, stating it may be filtering scam calls. But I've been calling that number for 5 months. I even called the shop while I was there to show I'm blocked. He lied, you don't want me as a client! That's fine I'm not losing anything but don't lie. read more
