Not bad, not great. I scheduled two mani/pedis (regular polish for me, gel for my son's girlfriend). Pros: -It was easy to get a same-day appointment on a Saturday afternoon. -Staff were friendly / nice. -Salon seemed clean. Cons: -Nail polish chipped off of a few nails by day three and I had to remove it and repaint them myself. -No lotion on hands (I got a regular manicure and didn't expect much, but my hands looked dry after). Now I know most people that paint their nails know that regular polish doesn't last nearly as long as gel or acrylic, but three days is pathetic. I got a mani/pedi last month in La Jolla- regular polish, comparable prices, and the polish was still on when I walked in to Aloha. It had been three weeks and the polish from previous manicure hadn't chipped at all (it was definitely worn off on the tips, but not chipped). Maybe the particular polish they used on me (the gel color without the gel treatment (uv)) was old or doesn't last when used as a non gel/uv product. Overall, not a bad place. It was still a relaxing experience, nothing BAD happened, everyone was nice, but I will likely not ever go back.

After a bad first experience, I gave this place another chance, but after this second visit, I won't be returning. From the moment my mom and I walked in, the atmosphere felt tense, as if they assumed we wouldn't pay. The staff was rude throughout, making the experience worse. During my first visit with my mom, something else that stood out was how they handled payment. While we were still in the middle of our pedicures, a staff member brought the ATM tap machine directly to our chairs and asked us to pay right then. We thought maybe she had to leave or something, so we paid, but then she just moved on to the next client. It felt strange and uncomfortable, since you usually pay at the end. It honestly came across like they wanted us to leave already, which added to the awkward experience. The service was rushed from start to finish. There's a difference between being efficient and careless, and our pedicures were done so quickly that it was obvious little attention was given to us. The man with glasses doing my pedicure kept pulling on my leg, making it uncomfortable. When he handled my hands the same way, I told him I didn't want the manicure anymore. Despite this, I was still charged $25 for a manicure I never received. I left with bare nails and had to apply clear polish at home. In total, I paid $70 for a pedicure with regular polish and a half-done manicure with no polish. Based on the quality, I'd value the pedicure at about $30 and the basic nail grooming at $10-15. There's no reason to pay $70 to be treated poorly and not receive what you paid for. This place is overpriced, unprofessional, and not worth the money. I regret giving it a second chance.

I came here with my daughter. A pedicure for me and a manicure for my daughter. For my daughter's manicure, I was impressed by the technician's, detailed work. If my daughter was happy, then I am happy. For my pedicure, I was extremely satisfied by the male nail technician. I noticed that this place uses an electric nail file, which I personally think gives better results for a smooth finish. I've only encountered one other salon 20 years ago, that utilized that instrument. The salon is a cozy nook with just enough space to get the job done. Although the pedicure chairs seemed fairly new, I wasn't satisfied with the results it gave for a back massage. It was like there wasn't enough power/intensity no matter the setting of the intensity level. I would definitely come back again.

I'm visiting Temecula for work and was in dire need of a pedicure. I'm always hesitant to try new nail salons because of cleanliness and how picky I can be with the shape but I'm so glad I gave this place a try! It was quiet for a Sunday, very clean and Holly was amazing. She made sure to square my natural nails off as much as she could, really took care of the cuticles and when it came to the massage the lotion was heated and she had me so relaxed! Definitely recommend and will bookmark it for myself in case I ever come back :)

Located on the Bank of America side of the mall. Was in the area. Needed a nail repair ASAP.Came across Aloha nails on Yelp looked at the reviews and pictures, sent a message via Yelp as they weren't open yet. Received a response in less than 10 minutes. I sent a text and received a call within another 10 minutes. I spoke with Lauren and explained what service I was seeking. She told me I could come in now to be assisted. I arrived was greeted by Lauren and immediately my service began. From 10AM-12N Lauren and Andrew did my nails. I sat in the pedicure chair and both services were completed there-WHICH I LOVE! I was able to enjoy the massaging chair for my entire service. Lauren and Andrew both paid VERY CLOSE attention to my nails and made sure I was pleased with the outcome. The service here is TOP NOTCH and I will definitely return.

This was not a good experience for me. They absolutely destroyed my nails. I went in with a gel manicure, just the gel polish over my natural nail. Instead of soaking them off, they decided to take the drill to them even after I asked her multiple times to not do this. She kept coming up with an excuse as to why it needed to be done. When the truth is, she was just too lazy to sit and let them soak for a couple minutes. She was trying to be quick. My gel manicure also was not cured properly so of course later that evening, on the same day that I got my nails done, my whole nail like smears off I'll show a picture. And it's like doing that and some of my other nails too. It was still sticky.. my nails are so thin now that they hurt. They did not hurt before I went into this nail salon. A chow manicure is such an easy basic nail service. The fact that they managed to damage my nails this badly is crazy. I don't have the money to afford to go get them redone somewhere else so I'm just going to have to have my nails like this so I don't know how long and I definitely do not want to go back into there and have them manage my nails in any way. Just to make this very clear, again, I went in with gel polish over my natural nail. No extensions nothing crazy very simple. I left the salon in pain nails so thin I am honestly in shock. I'm gonna call tomorrow and request a refund. I didn't even have the energy to do it yesterday. I asked MULTIPLE TIMES TO NOT USE THE DRILL ON MY HANDS AND FOOT AS IT SIMPLY WAS NOT NEEDED!!! Here is a photo of one of the nails. This occurred approximately 5-6 hours after getting them done there.

I've been getting my nails professionally done at various salons for 4 years and have never had this happen. First time to Aloha Nails. Small green spot on my pinky nail too. Perhaps contaminated tools. My friend says this happens when the tech treats someone with nail fungus then move into the next person without properly cleaning their tools. In response to your reply, this happened not too long after my appointment 10 days maybe. This was the least amount of times my hand had ever been in water actually. I've never had this issue in four years of getting my nails done and I've gone to different nail salons.

Follow up: It's been 5 days since my gel pedicure and 4 days since I came in to get my pinky toe painted. Now 3 of my toes the polish is completely off. Never in my life have I ever had gel polish just come off an entire nail like this. I'm not sure what polish is being used but I'm so disappointed that this is happening after spending money to have a nice service done and not having it last even a week. read more

They are absolutely amazing here at Aloha Nails! It's so clean and comfortable, not overcrowded with no space to walk at all like some nail salons in the area. I brought my elderly grandmother here for a mani/pedi, and they simply treated her with so much gentle care and kindness. This was my wife and I's first time here and honestly we were going to another shop near us but I'm very glad to have found this place. The space is very clean modern and comfortable. Everyone was attentive and friendly. One woman in particular had a wonderful energy that just lit up the space. I only go to nail salons to curb my horrific genetic curse of ingrown toenails and I can say that they were gentle where they needed to be and really put their back into it where I needed them to lol. Looking much better and feeling pain free. 10/10 would recommend read more

My girlfriend has been down on herself due to medical issues and needed a pick-me-up to remind her how gorgeous she is. It cost my girlfriend $120 to get her hands and feet done...a lot of money when you are unable to work...and when she got to the car, she burst out into tears. They made her feel like she was an inconvenience and bad for not liking the color and felt bullied like the staff was a bunch of "mean girls" in high school. Then the girl who did her nails gave her such an ugly attitude because she didn't "tip them high enough" when they put her on the spot. There are a hundred of these places so do yourself a favor and go to the salon down the street instead!! read more

I tried Aloha for the first time, because my usual nail salon seemed to be closed that day. The people at Aloha who did my gel manicure and pedicure were very pleasant. I would come back, except two nails peeled off the gel polish on Day 3 after they were done. All I was doing was wrapping a present. Three nails on my other hand are chipped. I always do gel when I get a manicure, and I am always careful afterward, and my nails usually last for weeks. I did not even get a week with the same level of care taken afterward, so something is different with their polish or gel quality, compared to where I usually go. It's too bad, because they are very nice, but I want more than three days when I get a gel manicure and will go back to where I normally go next time. read more

Came as a walk in appointment and was greeted and sat in a chair right away. Lauren and Tracy were very friendly and professional. Very sweet ladies. I got the Waikiki pedi and all the products smell so good. The environment is relaxing and really does have tropical vibe so it lives up the name. I was told about Aloha Nails by a friend. I called and made an appointment for 30 minutes later (middle of the week). I was able to get in. Mia was my nail technician and she did a fabulous job. Her attention to detail is impeccable. I just got a dip mani. It was $45 so very reasonably priced. They take card/venmo/zelle. My goodness! I've been looking for a good nail place for ages, I am pleased to say this place surpassed all expectations! I managed to get an appointment same day, and the moment I walked in I was sat down and taken care of, instead of waiting 20-30 minutes after your appointment time because they overbooked. I unfortunately had terrible acrylics from a different salon which took forever to come off! Thankfully Lily had all the patience in the world and got them. She took her time and at no point did I feel rushed, she even asked how prominent I wanted the shape and once it was to my liking she continued on with the rest. Lily was extremely nice and friendly and above all she did a stupendous job! I totally recommend this place. I'll attach what I used for a reference photo and what I walked out with. read more

I was helped by the technician Lana today for a gel pedicure. I called right when they opened and made an appointment for later that day and they were able to get me in no problem! Lana did a great job on my nails! She listened to exactly what i asked for and what i didnt want done, was super friendly to talk to but also let me relax on my phone, and was quick but didnt rush! She also was gentle cleaning my nails and did NOT dig at them. Prices are about even with surrounding places but would totally go here again to see Lana. read more

I don't know what it is but a lot of the nail tech aren't good anymore. It's either they're lazy about their work or don't care or take pride in their work. It feels like they don't care about their customer. They're literally cutting you with their tools. It's sad that I use to look forward to getting my nails done. Salon is stuffy and humid. The girl I went to did not listen to what I would like to have done. Did a different service quoted me a different price than original. And they go through Venmo. When I went to go leave with the Venmo going through, but it's taking it sweet time. She would not let me leave until the Venmo showed on her account. If you don't trust Venmo for your payment service go through a different provider. read more

First time booking an appt and based on the reviews, I asked for Vivian. I was right to go to her! By far she is the sweetest and most meticulous nail tech I have worked with. She wasn't rushing the process and was very fun to talk to. The nail salon is also very clean and hygenic. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Aloha Nails especially Vivian! I left with polish residue on the front and sides of multiple toes, and several nails were filed unevenly/crooked. I opted for clear gel nails with a French tip and it turned out beautiful. It was on the higher price range ($75+ for gel manicure w/ French tip & chrome) but I thought she did a good job, so I decided to come back. Second time around I came back to get a fresh gel coat but my experience was different. The technician was very kind (I want to emphasize she was very kind & apologetic) but seemed distracted. She used the acrylic sanding tool to shave off my gel and continued to file my nail down THIN. She was having conversation with a co-worker that she didn't realize she cut a pretty decent chunk of my cuticle off as well. It was non-stop bleeding and while she was very apologetic, but truthfully it was painful and continued to reopen for the next week. Well it's been about 2 weeks and I decided to try a different salon. After removing my gel we saw the damage that was done. My nails were filed down so thin that the manicurist recommended that I don't do anything to my nails and let them heal. My nails don't even look like nails, they look like shaved damaged cardboard. They have indents so deep that cannot be buffered. The manicurist was unable to remove all of the gel because my nail bed was so thin it grew apart of my nail. I'm so upset. I'm not one to write negative reviews but this isn't okay.

Took advantage. I put out a price and they brought me in just to tell me it was 55 starting price for fill. Vivianne could've texted me the price before having me drive almost 30 minutes to the salon. They just kept going up the price until it was 62! Just for fill not even a new set. The photo I sent her was what I wanted and she didn't even do the heart design. I was nervous to speak up, doesn't mean take advantage of nice people. My last set was 95 dollars when instead of giving me 3D flower they gave me stickers that didn't even end up lasting a week. read more

Vivian is incredible! I had gotten my nails done and was totally unhappy with them. The original full set didnt look like the picture I had brought in and I felt like what I wanted was being dismissed. When Vivian heard this, she was quick to clear time in her schedule for me, took one look at my picture, listened to what I was wanting and executed perfectly!
