Losing Nala too quickly was so devastating and we were so lost what to do with the process. She passed early morning on Sunday. We found this service on Yelp and got a response back right away. Our minds were not in the right places because of such a tragic situation but the lady called us beforehand to make sure we prepare Nala's body in certain manner. She also called us again maybe 10? Minutes earlier than her arrival to our home. In short, we had enough time to prepare Nala's body and say goodbye. When the lady came in, she was caring and understanding how difficult to lose a loved one. We truly felt so fortunate to have such a service on Sunday. Nala came back to us after 5 days. They even made sure someone could receive it for not leaving it under rain etc. I was very grateful to see the urn wrapped in a beautiful way. I felt this was very personal and warmed my heart. I immediately knew Nala was well taken care with Aloha. Learning they are a non profit organization with affordable costs, I didn't expect this much service from them. I'm so so grateful there are people who provide such a difficult service in Oahu. I highly recommend them to anyone and will ask them again in future.

We are so grateful for Alicia at Aloha 'Oe. She was incredibly informative, kind, and patient with us during one of the hardest times of our lives. She took the time to walk us through the entire process with compassion and clarity. Alicia went above and beyond to help bring our sweet Bear home to us sooner than expected, and we can't thank her enough for that. Her empathy and support meant the world to our family.

We miss you ! CoCo And Thank you for Alicia taking care of our coco .

I am grateful that you contacted me immediately after I made the request and that you came all the way to pick her up. It was a very sad farewell, but I believe that Coco has gone to heaven. We miss her a lot !

I recently lost my beloved pet and had been searching the night of his passing for the right crematory. After reading the 5-star reviews of this place I decided to send the request form on their website the night he passed away. I sent the form at around 8:00p and didn't expect to get a confirmation call the same night. I spoke to Alicia over the phone and was able to schedule a pick-up the next morning. The next morning she arrived earlier than our scheduled time. It was a quick grab and go, and I was a bit caught off guard because she did not greet or say much to me. I had a couple of questions about the process that I wanted to ask, but it seemed like she was in a rush/upset so I decided against it. I didn't know when to expect him, but my boy came back home to me 5 days later in a small white plastic urn (the complimentary urn), which was nice. Overall I didn't exactly experience the same kindness and compassion like the others had in the reviews, but I appreciated the quickness of the delivery and affordability of the service.

When the time comes and your Love of your life has to be Running free with no pain, you have the toughest decision to make and thats to euthanize. However, then of course you want your baby Ashes with you but vets can be extremely expensive and I agree, I would pay any amount to cremation. Aloha O'e gives to peace of affordablity but their service is increditable, they pickup your baby and the service is so precious with do much love to your babies remains. Unfortunately I had to use their service 2x ama both times it was amazing the care and compasion they put into your BABIES ashes.

Our fur baby and her favorite toy.

They were awesome! Very professional and helpful from the very start. Our fur baby was hit by a car in the evening. They couldn't pick her up that night but they gave us some alternatives that might be able to help us immediately. We decided to go with Aloha Oe and they handled her with care and brought her back in the time frame they said they would. I am extremely happy with the service and recommend this company!

Nala, our wonderful dog that left us suddenly.

They were great. Our dog passed really early on a Sunday and they were the only ones who I could find who are open on weekends on Oahu. I have no idea what I would have done without them. They were very caring and wonderful with us. Communication was very fast and coordination was easy. They made a bad day so much better for our family. I read some of the negative reviews prior to using their service and did not experience anything but caring from them. I did understand that they are on a tight schedule and I didn't want to delay them from picking up anyone else's loved pet. Luckily, we had enough time to say goodbye and prep Nala for her pickup. Can't say enough how much we appreciated them! I believe they are a non-profit shelter and use the money from this service to help pay for vet bills and the like. I would use them again and fully recommend them.

We were so happy with the services provided by this company. We were able to spend an hour with our beloved after he passed until Alicia came to pick him up. She was very kind and accommodating. The way we received his ashes back clearly showed that he was treated with the love, and care he deserved.

My experience with Aloha Oe Pet crematory was amazing. Alicia was very educational and took the time to explain the process from start to finish. It helped me to feel a lot more comfortable with this new type of service that I've never tried out before. I ended up misunderstanding the instructions, despite her efforts and paid for the process too far in advance. Alicia completely refunded my money. She was very understanding and communicative throughout the whole process. When it was finally my boys time, she was accommodating and able to fit us in her schedule. The pick up and drop off was also seamless. I felt so much better knowing that I was sending my boy with someone that you could tell has compassion for animals. I highly recommend.

No one ever wants to say goodbye to their beloved fur baby but unfortunately the time comes at some…read morepoint. I heard about Arms of Aloha in passing as others recommended them on various Facebook dog groups that I'm a part of. When my dog was diagnosed with cancer, one thing that popped into my mind was that, if possible, I'd like to let her cross over at home, where she was more comfortable. This thought was even stronger after having visited the vet so many times in the last weeks of her life. I had read up on the literature available on the Arm's of Aloha website (where you can also get an estimate) as well as preregistered. You can also look at their appointments available. They advise on making an appointment at least 1-2 days in advance, especially on the weekends. The hard part is knowing ahead what day that will be. My dog took a turn for the worst one day and I went back and forth on scheduling the only/last appointment available for the next day (appts can be seen/booked online). No one wants to make that call (decision), but it's also painful to watch your beloved friend suffer. They do have a thorough cancellation policy you can read online and I decided I'd book the last appointment to secure it and I could always cancel/reschedule more than 8 hours out. In the confirmation email, there is a link to a video to watch of the Doctor describing the process so you're familiar - I'd recommend this if it is your first time through this. I guess because it was already the next day, they called me shortly after to confirm my appointment. I could barely get the words out the confirm but I never felt judged by the person on the phone. The morning of the appointment, I received an invoice in my email. They suggest taking care of it ahead of time as doing it in the moment with so many emotion is harder. I appreciated this detail and was able to get it out of the way. At our scheduled appointment time, Dr. Naun came to our house. She has a calm and peaceful energy to her. She had some further paperwork for me to sign then we started the process. It was peaceful, and of course sad, but Dr. Naun brought comfort to the situation and we're so grateful for a service like this. We chose to have our dog's ashes returned to us and about a week later, we received a beautiful urn and our paw prints. With the service, they have a chaplain who you may access to talk to if you need help. I did not use it but they do also offer at home palliative care.

We recently found Tabioca in our garage in August, got all of her vaccines, shots, and tests all cleared before boarding her. I was a little worried because Tabioca has never interacted with other cats outside of her social circle in our house, but she didn't really well! She was able to get all the socialization as a kitten from her stay here. Julie was amazing! She had clear communication of what was needed and what was expected prior to boarding my two cats. She required documentation of all recent shots, flea medication, and any other medical history, which is something that I appreciated a lot. My cats and other cats safety is our number one priority. She was also very welcoming when we dropped my cats off. She showed us around the cat house, I felt very safe and secure knowing how much love and care was put into the area. There were so many different cat trees, cat beds, toys, and individual areas if some cats preferred to be alone. She was very thoughtful and explained the introduction process with our cats and the other cats. She explained that the first day our cats will be in their own space with a safe divider just so all the cats can familiarize themselves with each other. Then she goes off based on the interaction. If they react well then they open up the space for interaction. It it wasn't so well, then they can remain safely and comfortably in their own space! All the other cats staying with her were so sweet and you can tell that Julie showered all of them with love and really took care of them. Julie also kept us updated with pictures and videos of how our cats were doing and it really kept our piece of mind especially because we were out of the country. We live in Waianae so the drive was pretty far, but so totally worth it! I would recommend Julie in a heartbeat! I was referred to Julie from my coworker who also had a very pleasant experience with her.

She asked me what kind of cut I wanted and I let her know I wanted a mohawk style cut and she said she didn't understand what I wanted, I then tried to show her using my dogs body and she was still confused and started getting an attitude. She told me to pick a blade size before she could proceed and I tried telling her that I wanted to first show her what I meant and she ignored it and walked away and turned off the music and then started to walk back. My mom had been with me and told me I should leave and not allow her to cut my dog. She must've overheard my mom say this because her attitude immediately shifted and she became a little bubbly and kinder. I let her know I didn't want the mohawk anymore because it seemed too difficult to communicate with her what I wanted and I would just do a trim all over and to round his face out. She then let me know typically only poodles do that cut and asked if I was sure I wanted that cut (completely unnecessary comment). I let her know he has been getting groomed and that is his typical cut when we don't do something fun/funky. I only stayed because my dog was in need of a haircut and I was already there. I really hoped the haircut would come out great since it was the same cut on his entire body and then just face shaping and she made it a point to let me know she's been a stylist for 30 years. I had to fix up the parts that were extremely uneven and I fixed behind his ears which were not groomed in the same places. She also let me know when I picked him up how much of a good boy he was for her so I'm even more confused by the uneven cutting.
