My husband and I finally tried Aloha and LOVED it! We were craving a sweet treat after a night of salsa dancing in downtown OKC and decided to try Aloha since it is one of the few open later. We split a small Island Sunset Snoball (purple hibiscus and here comes the sun) - Hawaiian Style (ice cream on the bottom and sweet cream on the top). IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! For Oklahoma shave ice I would give it a 5 but comparing it to real hawaiian shave ice which is super fine it's not quite there but the flavor was amazing, and not too sweet! You should totally give it a try! read more

What a genius idea to put a coffee shop on that corner. I love these little coffee spots that are popping up around OK. As a Starbucks gold member I rarely venture to a coffee shop that doesn't offer me some incentive for my loyalty but we we're lost and looking for Ripper Park when we stumbled on this place so we figured why not. I ordered a dirty chai, my daughter a caramel frappe and my sister a caramel mocha frap. I tasted theirs and they were both good but I'm not an iced coffee drinker so I have no compressions. The dirty chai was ... omg if I weren't dieting I have it every time. I should probably find out what's in it to be sure I'm not depriving myself for nothing. Anyway the dirty chai was better than the one at Starbucks or Pete's. It was smooth and flavorful. We have gone back twice more since our first visit. It's out of the way but we are obsessed and make it a point to stop on the nights we play tennis. This was the perfect treat after a long hot afternoon outside for a car show. I had a grape (creature of habit) and my wife got one of the cream flavors. There was actual flavor all the way to the bottom of the cups which is rare lately at other spots. They have little tables outside you can sit at if you would like and they have drive through windows too. From great soft and very flavorful snow ones to things such as there breakfast items, brownies and other treats, along with coffee it had all been great! We went 2 days in a row we loved it so much. My toddlers (3 and 1), husband and I are on a snocone adventure trying Evey sno cone place in OKC and surrounding areas. We've had some really bad and some really good ones. This one def is in the latter category. I get similar flavors each time but got something new this past visit (my third time) and loved it as well! It's so funny to me when people mention a long wait because if my 2 toddlers can wait patiently I don't understand why adults can't. My personal favorite is the Silver Fox (vanilla) with cream done Hawaiian style. What is Hawaiian style you ask? It is any snowcone with a generous helping of rich vanilla ice cream in the base I love the snowcones this way. You will not regret trying it.. But there was an actual building with a bathroom and places both indoors and outdoors to sit. Also... Right after they handed me my sno cone, I spilled it everywhere. Love the gluten free options! I've been traveling across the country and there's little to no options for me on the road. The exterior of this place is cute and what initially caught my eye. The girl at the counter was friendly and gave me some suggestions on what to ordered. I got the strawberry daiquiri shaved ice Hawaiian style and a large coffee. The coffee was massive and tasted freshly brewed, and the medium Hawaiian ice was gigantic. I've never had Hawaiian ice before, and the mixture of ice cream and shaved iced was strange but super delicious. I shared mine with another person, and we finished the whole thing off quickly. The interior was cute but I found it strange that the counter was hidden around the corner. The menu was a little confusing for a first timer, and I had to look at yelp to figure out what to order. I have to wonder if people like this place because they get excited that there is ice cream in their snow cones, or maybe they just haven't had a really good snow cone? When we pulled up there wasn't any signs outside listing the flavors of snow cones or any food, nothing. So we asked for a menu and she just kind of tossed it at us. We also asked if they had a paper menu we could take home, but they didn't. I'm the rare person that likes to figure out what we're ordering before we get there so it goes smoother. The mocha frappe was ok, basically tasted like frappes from any other place. Nothing special. We also got a cherry snow cone, a wedding cake snow cone and a pina colada snow cone with gummy bears, all Hawaiian style. There wasn't much syrup in any of them. I thought since maybe the ice was coarsely shaved that it had just went to the bottom but that wasn't the case. It was like eating an slushie that had all the syrup sucked out and all that's left is the ice with a hint of flavoring. But the thing that shocked me the most is the tiny cup of gummy bears she handed me. There was six, yes only SIX gummy bears in it, and what is the point of putting them in a tiny sample cup? The best part about the snow cones was the ice cream at the bottom, but I can buy vanilla ice cream anywhere. With the customer service we had and the subpar drinks we got, I don't even want to waste time or gas driving there to try their actual food. This place is close to my school, so I have gone a few times. Everytime with the hopes of a better experience. The place is cramped, the service is slow, the customer service is poor. And you pay waaaay too much for the amount of coffee you get. It's more expensive than Starbucks - and at least with Starbucks you can get a free drink every-so-often with the app. They messed up our drinks 3 times (GAVE US ICED TEA INSTEAD OF ICED COFFEE WITH CREAM AND SUGAR, LOL) But no apologies were given. My recommendation is to go to "Serve" down the street. Much better coffee. Much better prices. Much better customer service. Much better atmosphere. read more

Very kind hearted people and service and it saddens me to give only 2 stars. So let me explain why I'm giving 2 stars. The owner closes the shop during the middle of the day whenever she feels like it. I've gone by mid day on a Monday and even Fridays around 12pm or 1pm and she has closed the store. Losing a lot money in my opinion by doing that but, whatever floats your boat lady. We choose not to go to this coffee shop anymore because every time we do go up there to get coffee,the place is closed. Gonna lose that shop if she keeps doing that. read more

Based on the hype I'm willing to give them another shot but my first experience was just good, not great. I got the Hawaiian style Pina colada with gummy bears. The gummy bears are a complete waste of money since there are literally 6 bears in the tiny little cup they give ya (should've consulted Yelp before ordering and I would've known this). I like the ice cream on the bottom and cream on top, but the ice was not as light and fluffy as I prefer. The employees were nice though and they give a Keep it Local discount. read more
