I am not sure about a coffee shop, but I loved the shaved ice. Had the recommended shaved ice drink (supposedly their most popular) and it was great. It was a combination of 3 flavors: peaches, strawberries, and a 3rd flavor. It was sweet, enough sugar for me the whole day.

Time for an update! Who needs a nationally known coffee stop when there's Aloha right in the OKC area? It occurred to me recently that I can order from TEN healthy, sugar-free options at the cute, blue building in Bethany. Not so at the chain stores that have maybe TWO. Check out Aloha's menu in my photo below. Then, there's the service. Who else would put together the tastiest 1) sugar-free, 2) Hazelnut, 3) half heavy cream, 4) half water, 5) no milk latte with a smile and a bit of conversation? Thanks Aloha---Keep it up!

This was the perfect treat after a long hot afternoon outside for a car show. I had a grape (creature of habit) and my wife got one of the cream flavors. There was actual flavor all the way to the bottom of the cups which is rare lately at other spots. They have little tables outside you can sit at if you would like and they have drive through windows too. There were so many flavors that I think you could go there every day and not run out of options all summer!

We went 2 days in a row we loved it so much. My toddlers (3 and 1), husband and I are on a snocone adventure trying Evey sno cone place in OKC and surrounding areas. We've had some really bad and some really good ones. This one def is in the latter category. I get similar flavors each time but got something new this past visit (my third time) and loved it as well! It's so funny to me when people mention a long wait because if my 2 toddlers can wait patiently I don't understand why adults can't. We tried a cookie on our latest visit and it was delicious as well! All in all good selection of flavors and nice staff. We also like the toys and books for kids inside!

The worst snow cone of my life. Way too much syrup. The ice isn't thinly shaved. I asked for a little bit of strawberry and banana in my wedding cake and it was all I could take. :) sorry I'm hard on my snow cone

My $11 smoothie was made with spoiled cream. It's disgusting. The man at the window couldn't be bothered.

Some of the best snow cones around. Also a perk that is just down the street from our house. Need to try it with ice cream next time!

The absolute best sno-cones, and they always have quick service. Hawaiian style is the only way to get a sno-cone here

I've even "cruised" past ordering spuds or cookies in the past because I didn't always think the value was there. With this newer location, though, I may need to rethink that. On this visit I grabbed a to-go order of two spuds and two cookies. My wife wanted the Turkey Spud and I tried the Baja Spud with chicken. The first thing I noticed right away--the potatoes were huge! Honestly, some of the most impressive sized spuds I've had from City Bites in quite some time. My wife's Turkey Spud was loaded, easy to see the generous amount of turkey piled on top. She was happy, which means I was happy. My Baja Spud, on the other hand, looked good but didn't quite deliver the same way. It felt light on the chicken and a little heavy on the sour cream. The flavor was fine, but the balance of ingredients wasn't what I expected, especially compared to how well-topped my wife's potato was. Thankfully, the spud itself was large enough that I could share with her and still be satisfied. Now, the cookies. I've been vocal in the past about how City Bites cookies have gotten smaller with less icing, which was disappointing since their Pumpkin Cookie has always been a personal favorite. This time I was pleasantly surprised--the Pumpkin Spice and Snickerdoodle were closer to the classic City Bites cookies I used to love. Bigger, better, and more in line with what they should be. A perfect sweet ending to our meal. Overall, I left impressed with the portion sizes and especially happy with the cookies. The Baja Spud could use more chicken, but between the generous potatoes and the nostalgic return of the cookies, this location gives me hope that City Bites is stepping things back up.

The sandwich was delicious and low cost, which makes me want to try another kind in the future. They also offer baked potatoes which sound really good in cooler weather.

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?
