They have a lunch special that is a good deal. You get to choose 1 of 2 burgers, fries and a drink for under $10 in 2026! Food was good. Prices fair. Service nice. Overall good experince Onion burger Bun- standard white bun, not my preference it was chewy and did it's job if holding food together and providing extra calories. Meat-tasty, good texture and flavor Cheese- good not too strong and not too mild just the right amount of sharpness for this burger Toppings- perfect the cooked onions really added some good flavor Hynsons fries - very good, flavorful, nice density, good amount of potato flavor, crispy outside, soft mushy inside Sweet potato fries - tad floppy and chewy but tasty. Hubby & I stopped in at Hyson's in Yukon a few weeks ago. Ordered the Classic Burger. It was just ok, burger was smaller than expected for the price! Flavor ok- nothing special. Also, ordered a shake, which it was good. If we do return, it will only be for a shake! read more

Very straight forward and classic burger spot! I got the #1 Hynson Classic. The buns were super chewy and delicious, the vegetables were crisp, and the patty was beefy and delicious! My wife got the Oklahoma Grilled Onion and although it wasnt a bad burger it was underwhelming. We had the onion burger from Tuckers and compared to that it felt like a disappointment. The cheese, grilled onions and beef patty felt like they werent "harmonious" and felt more like a "clinical" take on the onion burger. But it was still a very clean tasting burger. The chili fries were also ok but not amaaazing or anything. Overall i still give this place a 4/5 as it was clean, tasty, and overall satisfying. Service and ambience also helped the overall experience. Definitely will be back to try out the other burgers! read more

This is a good little spot to stop in for a quick burger. Burgers were good, fries were great! They were hot and perfectly crispy! Everything was made fresh to order, didn't take too long to receive. Would be nice if they offered condiments with your order or on a counter. Had to ask for ketchup and was offered two little packets for two people. The parking was easy in and out. The burger fell apart right when I got it. Wasn't very warm and overall wasn't very good the staff is really nice tho.

The fries and onion rings are pretty good! However we had 2 Okie burgers, we asked for No American cheese, it's at least 2 slices on each burger. A hair was in one of the okie burgers! The bacon and fried egg that's supposed to be standard with the burgers are missing. Come to find out, in the Uber Eats App, at the bottom of the ordering portal for the sandwich, it says "OB Remove:" American Cheese, Bacon, and Fried Egg are all already checked, so we remove the check mark from the bacon and the egg, for them NOT to be removed and it's actually the opposite! How confusing! Neither of us want American cheese and it is loaded with that crap! Since #UberEats won't refund because of the confusion, I'm posting this on yelp and Google soon, because this is unfair and ridiculous that we can't get a refund! Then to top all that the lettuce was the size of a spinach leaf (baby spinach at that), and completely wilted, the tomato was 1 slice about the size of a flattened slice of a plum tomato very tiny and thin (see through), the lettuce and tomato are nothing like the pictures! We at first thought there weren't any lettuce or tomato on there, we had to search for them! Whomever the cook was on Friday 8/16/24 that prepared this sandwich needs to be retrained! Who would put that tomato and that tiny piece of lettuce on there without at least adding more? I want a full refund! I gave 2 stars, 1 for the fry and 1 for the onion rings. Then I can't rate the side order of sauce because they didn't mark them to let me know which is which, smh. One sauce is better than the other but again I have no way of telling you which one. I've been to Hynson's once before at their original location in the Penn Square Mall food court. It had been recommended to me by a friend as a solid local burger place, and after I ate there I concurred. In a world where burger joints are known for being gourmet with endless toppings that you can add onto a burger until it barely fits in your mouth, Hynson's is a return to the...(wait for it) CLASSIC they boast in their name. This is a simple, no-frills, made to order burger that's piping hot and satisfying in it's own way. Not that there's anything wrong with the 1st type of burger, I personally enjoy and feel that there's a place for both. It's just important to set your expectations accordingly, because if you come in expecting the huge gourmet burger you will be disappointed. These burgers are more akin size-wise to fast food chains like McDonald's, Braum's, Sonic, etc. Was excited to hear that they were coming to Yukon for their 2nd location as to my knowledge there hasn't been a local/non-chain burger place here since Truelove's closed down. They're located in a newly developed strip mall across from Discovery Church. The interior was smaller than I would've expected which is something to take note of for the COVID conscious. The tables could probably accommodate a group of 4 at most unless multiple tables were combined. The food was comparable to my initial experience at the original location, burger was fresh and hit the spot. Cheese could've been melted a bit more but I'll chalk that up to opening week hiccups. The fries are on the thicker side due to a nice crispy coating and they also offer a spiced version known as Hynson's fries. The friends I came with wolfed down the burger quickly and were worried it wouldn't be enough to fill them up but once they got through the fries it was plenty. My only complaint is that this business chooses to charge the full price of a beef burger Plus an additional $4 for a meatless burger option. The Hynson burger sauce that comes on it is delicious! The burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sweet potato fries were soft on the inside and crunch on the outside.
