Tough day for the pickle men. You order with one person. They relay the info to second person that adds the toppings and condiments and a third person rings you up. But it's not like Chipotle where you go station to station. You order with person A. They put the meats cheeses on and send it through the toaster. He shouts to person B. Small Veggie no mayo add mustard. Regular BLT as is. Gets to person B. Huge scoop of chicken salad. Not sure how that cross up came about. But his instinct was to scrape it off and just add the mustard. No. No meat. No mayo. And you just soaked the bread in all of that. Re make it. They do. But during the interim. He adds mustard to the BLT. Cus you know. He heard mustard. Meanwhile, I've already been rung up. So now I just gotta wait as this train of incompetence rolls to a stop. Never again pickle man, never again. Stop making your employees play telephone and fix your broken system. read more

Look Picklemans - I love your damn #9 Italian Beef Sandwich. So much that I eat it maybe once a week because I live close. And every time I order it without peppers. They always repeat it back. It's on the receipt. So why oh why do I wind up with these peppers 75% of the time?!? Is it that hard? This one had sooo many peppers and despite opening it in the parking lot and finding a couple (it happens) it wasn't until I got home that I found the other 46297491 peppers completely melded into the cheese hiding under the beef. These subs stand apart from any subs in the city we had the Italian and the smokehouse we wanted to try different things and I must say overall the Italian was the best. The Italian flavors were so tangy and had a good flavor with every bite it was so flavorful. The smokehouse was good but can't compare to the Italian . The service was quick and the place was clean. Went right before lunch before it started to get crowded. Also had the pizza(not pictured) cut in little squares so it's easy to handle. Also recommend trying the chocolate chips cookies. A little pricey but definitely worth trying at least once for good quality subs. read more

After reading a Yelp review on Pickleman's Chicago style, Italian beef dip I had to give Pickleman's a try. You order and pay at the counter, while your sandwich is being made. My hubby and I both ordered the Italian beef dip,mine without spicy the spicy Giardiniera; the thinly sliced beef was tender and very tasty and the roll held up to the delicious Au jus. Expensive price for mediocre food. Restaurant was very clean and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a cheese pizza. Sauce tasted canned, thin cracker like crust that was completely limp. Only reason I ate it was because I was so hungry, but I would never order the pizza ever again, and looking at their prices not sure I'd return for much else. This location even has a small patio to dine outside and a spacious interior for larger groups. You can grab a salad, sandwich or pizza. There's something for everyone. Most overpriced sandwich in Oklahoma City area (Yukon store). Two people can't eat here for less than $35 And that's a sandwich, chips and a drink. I normally get my sandwiches at Jersey Mike's but for some reason their app was down. we drove to Pickleman's which is about the same distance. We had been there before and sandwiches were somewhat mediocre. This day I got the #2 Ham sandwich. What a joke. I opened it up and all it had was 1 (one) piece of thinly sliced ham on it folded in half ( I'm sure to make it look like you got more). Couldn't even taste the ham because it was loaded up with so much lettuce and mayo. So basically a mayo sandwich. Probably won't be back to this place any time soon. The food is fantastic, my wife and I keep coming back. However, the service at the May location is horrible. Every time we have gone the workers seem completely disinterested in the customers, and are often bickering between one another. We usually have to ask for someone's attention even though we have been standing at the counter for a few minutes. Several times they have gotten the order wrong. It's a small thing, and we always get to go so we never stay in the restaurant. If you can get past the rudeness and negativity of the workers, and make sure to check your order, the food is fire. read more

The place was clean, and if you want to hang there to work on your computer, there are lots of outlets. The chairs aren't long-term comfortable though. Food-wise, the sandwiches are on the thin and skimpy side, but they were tasty. Most sandwich places give you a small pickle spear, but here, you have to buy an entire half a pickle instead on say, 1/8th or 1/6th of a pickle. And with a name like "Pickleman's", I truly expected much more of a pickle theme and a far wider choice of pickles than just one kind of pickle and a jar of one kind of giardinera. It was an OK pickle, but not worth $2 for a half pickle. I was truly expecting a lovely pickle experience - a nice variety of pickles (sours, half sours, dills, koshers, sweets, maybe a bread-and-butter pickle and maybe some gherkins), but just ONE kind of pickle? And just 1 kind of giardiniera? Such a deep pickle-lack. Since this is a chain, I doubt changes will be made. I regret the serious lack of pickle. But - the sandwiches were good (get the full sized, because a half is **very** tiny), the soup was good, and the service was good, the place was clean, parking was easy. Everything I have tried at picklemans has been great. Have tried multiple sandwiches and pizzas. I got the regular pizza crust but they also offer a gluten free crust. They also let me sample the spicy pork Mac N Cheese last time I went in and I will be getting some next time. He ended up getting the "pick 2" with the Italian Beef sandwich & tomato bisque and he enjoyed it. I got Chipotle Chicken sandwich and spicy dill pickles chips (amazing btw) and it was really good. So me and the Mrs. hit up Pickleman's (my first time...her second) and man oh man did I finally find a spot in OKC with a legitimate Italian Beef Sandwich! I have tried others and none in OKC have come close to what I used to eat when I lived in the Windy City (Chi-Town) back in the early 90's! Enter Pickleman's! They hit the mark with this one, but be warned the size was smaller than expected. Still, if you want a proper portion sandwich this is it! Their Italian Beef includes a somewhat spicy giardiniera blend (which I like), delicious broth for dipping, and I had them add mozzarella and onions on mine. This SAM'ich (yes Bruh man, fif-flow, SAM'ich) was the biddness! LOL...That's how good it was. Reminded me of being back in the Chi! Anywho, they offered a pickle and I was like sure. While I was expecting a couple of dill slices, little did I know that they'd be serving up a full size jumbo pickle like the ones you get at concession stands.
