My favorite sushi spot!! It's just one guy working and he has so much ambition and makes his food with so much love. I love that he's open late , me and my co worker friends made it a weekly thing to come in and eat after a long night shift it's quiet, and perfect for after a long day.

oh aloha sushi you've done it again! my birthday just passed and my brother wanted to treat me... i suggested here. we ordered the crunch package that comes with four rolls, cali crunch, crunch shrimp and then both in spicy. all four rolls as a package deal of $36.99! that's almost $9 per roll! what a deal! the quality was immaculate, as per usual, and the flavor was perfection. we opted to do take out this time and it lasted the drive very well! i was overall very satisfied with my birthday present and would recommend aloha sushi a visit!

the sushi was great but they are severely understaffed and we waited almost 45 minutes for our food in person. the concept of the restaurant is very interesting as well as they have no servers and you order on the app. overall i would recommend for takeout.

I FINALLY tried this little Japanese place out after having it bookmarked for over a year. I really should have just gone and tried it sooner! The outside of the restaurant is somewhat unassuming, but the inside was clean and has the aesthetic I would expect from a night time sushi place. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming! Their hours are perfect for a night owl like myself. It's so nice having an actual local restaurant after about 9pm to choose from that isn't just fast food!! After looking over the menu for longer than I maybe should have, I ended up picking out the Chicken Bento Box B that comes with teriyaki chicken, a heap of white rice, 4 pieces of California roll, and 3 gyoza. I also ordered the Sexy Mama roll. Yes, this may sound like a lot of food for one person (and it definitely is) but being fat, lonely, and really hungry sure did make it sound appealing. It was enough food for a couple average sized meals, or perfect for two moderately hungry people. I wasn't disappointed in anything I received, and overall felt like it was exactly what I hoped it would be for ~$30. Crispy gyoza, well cooked rice, sweet/ tangy teriyaki chicken that was tender and not too salty, and the California roll was fresh and simple - perfect. The Sexy Mama roll is very yummy for those who enjoy moderately spicy sushi. Definitely not a lingering or overwhelming heat level, but maybe not for those that are particularly sensitive. The scallops in the roll were beautiful and added a silky and fun textural element to the sushi that I haven't experienced before! I'll be looking for that in any other rolls I try out in the future. Although I only got take-out, I feel confident that whether I choose to dine in or get my food to go, I'll be taken care of and won't leave disappointed. Now I just need to find some friends to enjoy this lovely place with! :D

I love supporting small local businesses! I've been coming here for years and have always had such consistently delicious food. I normally only get sushi, but this time around, I got a bento box also. I ordered the best selling combination sushi platter and the teriyaki chicken bento box. The chicken teriyaki bento box came with chicken teriyaki, rice and 4 pieces of California roll. The portions were so generous and I could not believe all that food was only 9.99! The chicken teriyaki was delicious and moist. The rice cooked perfectly. Some places cook their rice a little too mushy. The California roll was delicious. I know it's hard to mess up a California roll, although you'd be surprised. The best selling combination sushi platter came with 4 cut rolls - Jessica, king crab, salmon lover and salmon crunch. Such a great combination. It included my favorite salmon lover roll. The salmon lover roll is so refreshing with its thinly sliced lemon pieces on top. All of the food was fresh, pretty good quality and definitely was made to order. The service was fantastic. I love how you order online. I love how they text you the expected pick up time and when your food is ready to be picked up. How efficient is that?!? Service is wonderful. The place is super clean! Come support this place!

My household enjoys sushi every once in a blue moon. So when we decide to get sushi - we want good quality and great tasting sushi! My boyfriend and I are new to the Azusa zip code so we found Aloha Sushi on Yelp. We couldn't find the menu in the pictures on Yelp so we decided to call in. The caller was very nice in helping us with our order and suggesting items /accommodating to what we liked. We got the philly roll (without cream cheese), spicy tuna roll, California roll, and rainbow roll. All were great! Since its quarantine - we got our order to go. The place gave us plenty of Wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce to enjoy our order with. Only thing is that we wish the Wasabi was spicier. We added a lot of it and it just wasn't spicy! Overall, the sushi was fresh and well made.

Absolutely loved my experience here!…read more From the moment I walked in, I could feel that this place is run with a lot of care and pride. The atmosphere is cozy but clean and modern, and you can immediately tell how much attention the owner puts into every little detail. The counter, the cutting boards, the knives, even the plates - everything looks spotless and well-maintained, which already gave me a lot of confidence before I even took a bite. The service is incredibly friendly. The owner and staff are not just polite in a formal way, but genuinely warm and attentive. They check on you at the right times, explain the dishes if you're curious, and you can feel that they really want you to enjoy your meal, not just finish it and leave. There's a sincerity here that's hard to find these days. It doesn't feel like a business only; it feels like you're being welcomed into someone's personal space where they truly care about the food they serve. Now, the highlight: the salmon. I've had salmon sushi and sashimi at many places, but the salmon here honestly stands out. The quality is on another level. The texture is incredibly buttery and soft without being mushy, and it has that natural sweetness and richness that only really fresh, high-quality salmon has. You can tell they're very selective with their ingredients. It doesn't have any fishy smell at all - just a clean, delicate aroma that makes you want to eat more. The way the salmon is cut and presented also shows the chef's skill. The slices are perfectly balanced - not too thin, not too thick - so you get that satisfying bite where the fish almost melts in your mouth. When you eat it with just a touch of soy sauce and wasabi, everything comes together beautifully. It's the kind of salmon that makes you pause for a second and think, "Wow, this is really good." They also offer different styles of salmon - like nigiri, sashimi, and rolls - and each one feels thoughtfully prepared rather than just quickly thrown together. Even the rice is well made: slightly warm, seasoned just right, and not falling apart. That alone shows the level of care in this place, because good sushi rice is not easy to get right. What impressed me the most is how clean and conscientious the owner is. You can actually see them constantly wiping down surfaces, organizing their tools, and checking the freshness of the ingredients. There's this calm but focused energy behind the counter. It gives you the feeling that they would never serve anything to a customer that they wouldn't proudly eat themselves. That kind of sincerity is rare and really adds to the trust you feel as a customer. Overall, this is the kind of sushi restaurant where you don't just come for a quick meal - you come because you know you'll be taken care of. Friendly service, an owner who is extremely clean, honest, and hardworking, and salmon that is truly special and memorable. If you love salmon, this place is a must-visit. I would absolutely come back again and again.

I had a horrible experience at Sushi Factory (Azusa). I ordered the Rainbow Roll ($16.50). It…read moretasted old, mud-like, and pungent. I felt my anger boil as I spit this mess into a napkin. After a quiet drive home, I dropped the leftovers into the garbage can. "Disgusting!!" I arrived at Sushi Factory (Azusa) on Sunday (around 6:15PM). This overpriced tourist trap is located across Azusa Pacific University. Parking is easy since the lot is very big. Staff is well-meaning, elderly, and alert. Staff (receipt says Irene) appeared confused when I took photos. Irene had requested I sit closer to the counter in this fairly empty location, so she didn't have to walk much. Irene was cordial. The Rainbow Roll ($16.50) took four minutes and 15 seconds. Extremely fast. As mentioned, the Rainbow Roll ($16.50) tasted so bad that I spit it out. The salmon had the texture of glue and clay. The white fish tasted like lukewarm soap. Then, its California Rolls' filling tasted like microwaved crab juice, dribbled inside. Its rice even carried a wet, clammy, & gloopy texture. I felt furious as I paused eating. With a bright fake smile, I paid & quietly left. Regarding ambiance, Sushi Factory (Azusa) is clean and attractive. The tables are shiny, and the floors are relatively well-swept. I also appreciated the pink blossom decor. In the corner, there's even a television that plays the football game. The music had a cheerful, upbeat bounce. Overall, Sushi Factory (Azusa) is perhaps one of the worst sushi spots that I've tried in 2025. It's budget ingredients with high prices prepared lazily to prey on unsuspecting clientele. At its current state, I do not recommend. 1 out of 5
