Food: Yikes! Im sorry to say this but i think this might be one of my least favorite sushi spot. Something as simple as the miso soup and garlic edamame tasted so bland. Fish was a hit or miss, some pieces tasted fine but other pieces we had to spit out because it was chewy and tasted very fishy. We did the AYCE for $40 and it's so unfortunate that nothing tasted good. None of this is authentic Japanese food. If anyone had sushi and/or Japanese food before, they would be able to tell right away that this place is really far from that. We weren't really sure about the freshness of the fish either so our group decided to stop ordering fish after the first round. What a waste of money. 2 stars for now. Did not opt for the AYCE, but judging by the quality of the chicken and the tempura I would say this place isn't the best quality in terms of what they present to the customer due to their AYCE option. In comparison to other AYCE sushi spots that I've been to I would rate this one in the middle as "okay." It wasn't bad but I can't say it was exceptional either. For $39 per person for AYCE I've had better at other sushi spots. First off they don't really have sashimi for ayce, you have to pay $1 extra per piece which is kind of a bummer at least for all sashimi besides salmon. We opted to get a bunch of regular sushi pieces instead and I would say the quality is between okay and good. None of the fish had a fishy taste which is a thumbs up for me. The rice was okay, some pieces of sushi held together while others did not. I will say I enjoyed the ambiance at this place. They have a cute design and the restaurant itself is fairly small, like 8-10 tables or so. In terms of service, it was decent though they forgot about 3-4 dishes in total from my placed order. It definitely got annoying to flag them down to check so note to double check with the waiter so they circle everything so you won't have to wait for an order that isn't coming. Overall the experience was good, I enjoyed the food and what not though I personally probably won't be back because I feel there are so many better spots. Note - They also give ice cream for AYCE though it's not on the menu so be sure to ask! I got a chocolate ice cream with no extra charge. Parking - It's okay they have a lot but it's shared lot next to like a car shop so plenty of cars just parked around. I took the last spot so you might have to park on the street. read more

This was not it unfortunately compared to quality of fish that I'm looking for. We had the option of AYCE but didn't want to eat everything after the items we tried. For $40 for AYCE it's a good value for some people. But i'm here for quality not quantity of sushi. Server said it was a better deal for AYCE so we tried it out. There were a good amount of people here for a Thursday night. 2 solo gentlemen and another couple at the bar with this and another family sitting at the table. There's about 7-8 tables and 10 bar seats altogether. Even though it was AYCE nothing stood out to me that I had to eat again or want to come here again. Sushi was okay. Lots of rice in the hand rolls and sushi. Which I guess is normal for AYCE. I had to ask to refill water a few times. When my water cup was done and I got tired of asking I was done with the meal. The AYCE deal is great for a local AYCE (which we don't have alot of around here) so it's so nice to se it being back. I have seen this sushi spot pop up on my Yelp feed for what seems like forever. I went with my girlfriend and colleague and had a great time. The AYCE menu was great, a great variety of selections from appetizers to house rolls and everything in between we all ordered a spread and enjoyed everything that hit our table. The service was great. Somewhat of a smaller venue but you do not feel cramped at all. The one thing that I will mention is parking was a bit confusing, it is right next to a mechanic shop which seems to own the entire parking lot during the day and you might have to park on the street but in the evenings (once the shop is closed) it looks like the lot can be used for Sushi Fire guests. Today we stopped by to try the new ownership's All-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi for $38.99 that they offer Saturdays and Sundays, and we were pleased with the service and food quality. Typically, I steer clear from AYCE sushi because the quality always leaves more to be desired. But in this case, everything was delicious and good quality. We mainly had nigiri and handrolls and two rolls. We may have overindulged...but it was well worth it. When I tell you that this was the ALL TIME WORST Sushi that I have ever eaten in my life. It is the absolute WORST. First of all, all the good reviews belong to the previous owners. A different owner recently took over. So there's that. But when I steeps inside it has a very feint insecticide smell. Like maybe they were trying to combat a problem. I ordered anyway and it was pretty expensive $67 for two rolls and a Bento box. I ordered to go. When I got home the food literally looked like vomit. I only live a few blocks away so it's not like I went on a journey. The dynamite rolls were horrible and you can tell that they use imitation crab. The rest of the meal was horrible too. I promise, I usually give a second chance but no way will I ever step foot in there again. The staff was nice, but they need to go down the street and take a lesson from Hemo Sushi. read more

Looks like they had just started to offer this recently and I hope it sticks around. Great rolls and sushi pieces and the rice to fish ratio is perfection. My only gripe is I wish they would do half rolls so we could try more of their offerings. Their stuff is fantastic and I'm so happy. There was one server in the whole place and he made sure that we were all taken care of the whole time. I honestly thought about returning the next day but had to stop myself from getting rolled out of the place two days in a row. Came here on a Sunday morning for lunch and we were the first to be there. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, who was very attentive throughout our dining there. We ordered the baked scallop roll, the spider roll (soft shell crab), the Alaska roll, the crunchy eel roll (forgot the name), and the lunch tempura combo with baked mussels and squid tempura. The baked scallop roll took a while because it's baked but it was worth the wait. It came out hot and tasty. The spider roll's soft shell crab was fried and each bite came with a crunch which was lovely. The salmon in the alaska roll was so soft and fresh and I enjoyed the smoothness of it in my mouth. The crunchy eel was my favorite. The outside had a bit of a crunch as it was covered with the tempura panko. There's cream cheese in each piece and combining with the eel was a fantastic combination. The seafood in the combo was really fresh. It has a big serving of vegetable tempura in it. It came with rice and miso soup. There were 3 of us and the friendly waitress gave us two more soup so we each had a soup. The ambiance was casual and the service was great. The waitress kept refilling out tea and super attentive. She also gave us extra serving of wasabi and pickled ginger. She was also very accommodating to other customers. We came on a Friday night at 8pm. They weren't busy at all and we were seated by a very sweet hostess/waitress. We ordered a tempura roll, salmon nigiri, the bento box with beef teriyaki, and small chirasi bowl. Everything came out pretty quickly. However, our waitress thought we had ordered tempura udon and there was some confusion when it was brought out to our table. I felt guilty making her take it back but it would've been too much food. The sushi was delicious and fresh. The portion was pretty decent for the price point. I wasn't the biggest fan of the beef teriyaki. This review is for our experience on 7/2 around 8:20pm. My parents and I wanted dinner along the way to my grandparents, and we found this one and had a really great experience! It's a smaller space with a large parking lot, and it was near closing time, so we were sat very quickly. Our server was attentive but not once did we feel rushed or that they wanted us out right away. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered: miso soup (really flavorful), shrimp tempura (not greasy at all and the batter was light), baked green mussels (they slice it up so it's easier to eat and they don't use excessive mayonnaise- super tasty), sashimi salad, and an assortment of carpaccio and sushi including the uni (which does have an additional charge per piece). The fish to ratio on the sushi was also really good, which made it easy for us to finish the food and still feel satisfied but not too full! Also, we tried the Oishi, Sakura, and Mango Crunch roll - the last two were a big hit. Overall, we had a great experience and we will definitely come back.
