We got Swedish massages and once the massage started and the lady was crawling on me, I realized it was still a Thai massage but with Swedish strokes. I was pleased with the massage. We got Pa and Ross. They checked in to see if the pressure was enough and would adjust accordingly. We decided last minute to get a couples massage, we were able to get an appointment within 2 hrs period for both, 80 mins. I will say if you chose deep tissue, it's not for sissies, she dug into me, walked on me, stretched me out... it was great but i feel she didn't ask sufficient questions ahead of time to know if someone had medical conditions that can't handle the deep stretch and being walked on etc. Best part is, usually with deep tissue I have some superficial soreness next day, I'm 2 days out from this massage and still feelings great and not feeling like I was mashed on. read more

Each of us are very particular about our massages and have had them done at the nicest places around the world--and this place is one of the top in our experiences. I am pregnant, just a few days shy of my second trimester, so I have avoided massages (per general advice) until my 2nd trimester. I was not going to get a massage until I met Pa, the owner. She informed me that she is actually well versed in prenatal massages and even worked in a maternity ward, taking care of new mothers and baby's, for 25 years...she talked to me about the areas she knows the avoid and how we would approach my massage. She was the one who would be doing my massage, so I felt comfortable to do it. And it was wonderful! We didn't do any of the areas that are to be avoided during pregnancy and she was soft yet very effective on my tight upper back muscles. We got a couples massage for $200 and my massage was great! My masseuse was Pa and the pressure was perfect and she even cracked my back. I normally don't fall asleep with Thai massages because sometimes it does go too deep but her massage was just right and I fell asleep! My husband's masseuse was Rose and he said she was "okay." He was jealous when I kept raving about my masseuse lol. Anyways this massage place was in the middle of a food court and it does get noisy which is the reason for the 4 stars. I suggest bringing ear plugs or your noise cancelling headphones so you can relax. They are all so nice but for $85 for 50 mins for a Swedish massage didn't cut it. I've had a Swedish massage many times and it felt mostly like rubbing my skin. Didn't knowledge my knots I asked to remove per her question. She had technique either. At first they wanted me to get the massage by a gentleman that looked like he just left a construction site with a baseball cap and sunglasses. I didn't feel comfortable with him doing my massage so I asked for another person. If he was more spa presentable like everyone else maybe I would be down but I wasn't. This place is AWESOME! The ladies are so professional, intuitive, gentle yet firm, respectful and down right ARTISTS at their craft. This is literally the best massage I have ever had. My fiancé and I did a couples massage and it was one of the highlights of our trip. These amazing ladies knew intuitively where our individual trouble spots were, did amazing reflexology combined with stretching and massage and when we left we felt refreshed, loose and "de puffed". I have a tender low back and sometimes massage can actually be detrimental. Not with this massage!! Just amazing. We had no idea how badly we needed this! They were excellent at confirming our appointment and communicating via text to make sure we knew exactly where we needed to go and park, since they are a little tucked away in the town center. We used to get our massages at The Spa at Black Rock in The Sheraton Hotel. In Nov 19, right before the pandemic, on our annual Anniversary trip to Maui we decided to try something new. We saw all the 5 Star reviews here and the cheap prices for a massage in Hawaii and pulled the trigger. We scheduled the 90min couples Thai Massage. Pa worked on my wife and I don't remember who worked on me. My wife was blown away by Pa's techniques. I was underwhelmed because I need my massages to make me cringe and cry like a girl. I voiced my concern to PA and she said "come back and I'll get someone stronger and give you a discount". I said "OK, we'll book now and schedule another 90min couples Thai massage 2 days later. Enter Neng. Neng made my toes curl. I had to ask her to lighten up a couple times. Her technique is dialed. We missed 2020 and also will miss 2021 because of all the mandates and restrictions. We will be there next November and we will be scheduling with Pa & Neng. read more

Amazing massage by Pa today at Aloha Thai Massage! They are located in the heart of Lahaina on Front Street next to Down the Hatch bar. Easy public pay parking in lot behind the plaza if you don't find street parking. They were able to get 3 of us in last minute for 90 minute services the day after 4th of July. Price higher than in the states but significantly cheaper than any of the big resorts on the island and the massage well above par. Pa was very sweet and gave a very enjoyable Thai massage! She intuitively found all of my tight spots and worked them out. She also led me in deep yoga breathing to get the most of the massage and stretching. No ropes on ceiling but she crawled all over me to create the same effect. Other nice touches: soft silk sheets, coconut oil arm and leg rubdown, and lemongrass infused hot towels for oil removal and to prop under neck while laying on back (going to be using that trick at home for sure!).
