I had a male therapist with strong hands , they booked me for a 45 or 60mins honesty I don't know they just booked me and did the massage . It was great , included head massage , scalp , neck (briefly) arms n hands . For a whole body massage I do recommend visiting Massage Maui Style and working with Carolina for a therapeutic, healing and relaxing experience. We made Appointments for two foot massages in the afternoon and when we got there the staff were expecting us. The foot massages themselves were decent. They could have used more pressure and actually massage the head and neck more as they stated they would over the phone, but that's probably why I would just get a body massage here next time, which is also decently priced for the area. read more

We decided to try foot reflexology/massage while on a recent vacation. My feet were already sore, so why not? Yeah, I'm one of those people who really abuses their feet while on vacation with walking way too far in slippers, hiking on lava rocks, stuff like that. Due to covid restrictions, we booked our appointment online and then waited in our car until they were ready to bring us inside. The room was darkened and we were seated on very comfortable reclining chair/bed things. First was the really hot water foot soak, and then we laid back and relaxed as our feet and lower legs were kneaded into submission. Some of the things they did to my feet really hurt! I think that meant that wherever those reflexology points those spots on my feet were connected to needed the most help. I think there was also some neck and scalp massage done too, but honestly, I was so relaxed and rested after that I can't really remember. Footsie Reflexology is definitely a nice place to get out of the sun & surf for a bit of cool, dark relaxing in a very clean environment. Try it, you'll like it! This is my second time coming to Footsie. We came like five years ago and my wife had a great experience. I thought we might get lucky by getting Theresa who was my wife's masseuse. We requested her but they told us she was no longer there. It's not exaggerating to say that this was the worst massage I've had in my life time. It was a colossal waste of time and a terrible waste of money. The masseuses were completely untrained - putting pressure on places that didn't need pressure and not applying pressure on the places that needed it. She wasted precious massage minutes massaging my forehead and earlobes and other random parts of my body that didn't need any attention! She squeezed my achilles tendon so hard that I limped out of the building. My buddy I was with had an equally bad experience. He was saying the exact same things that I was saying after the massage. He also complained that his foot was hurting after the massage. They were, in essence, complete amateurs. We both felt like we got scammed. We were charged $100 each for the massages and despite the horrible job they did we thought we'd at least give them 15 % and she looked up and scowled and said "most people give $20." Then this moment of awkward silence. I didn't have the energy at that point to debate her - tipping should be 100% my choice. She shouldn't be making comments about what *she* thinks she should receive as a tip. In a word, inappropriate. And at the same time we both were really wanted her to know how dissatisfied we were with our massages but again, didn't have the energy to get into it with her. The saddest part about this whole experience is that we were really in need of good massages. We're both running the Maui marathon tomorrow and needed a good thorough massage to loosen us up. I have been a few times with my husband and we have never been disappointed! Today we came during the Pandemic and we felt very safe with the protocols they have in place. It is always very clean and the therapists not only ask if your pressure is good but are also very intuitive and adjust for different areas. A hidden gem in Kihei! I had the one-hour foot massage. It starts with a foot soak while your face, ears, scalp, shoulders and arms are massaged. After your feet have soaked for about 10 minutes, the foot and leg massage begins. They use hot stones through the massage and ends with a hot towel to wipe off the oil. If you have knots in your feet, they will certainly work them out. You are seated on an oversized chair leaning back. There is relaxing music and the lights are dim. There are 4 chairs in the room, and it looks like a couple massage rooms. The workers are very friendly and inviting. Note: There is a $2 surcharge for credit cards and tip is by cash only. My friend and I had the 1 hour head and foot massage. My friend had Linda, who was excellent. I had Andy who wasn't. He was late and was racing with the massage. I asked him 3 times to slow down. On the face and head he wasn't hitting the pressure points, just pushing on me .not enjoyable at all. On the kegs it just felt like he was applying lotion without massaging. The foot massage was a little better, however his phone was pinging the whole time, even after we asked him to turn it off. I went there the other day as my foot was cramped and due to another spa not doing a good job I figured I'd check this place out. I called and got a 30 min appointment quickly. I haven't had a legit foot massage in years so why not give it a try (ignore the one the other day as it doesn't count). It's not like a pedicure so I was caught off guard. You lay down on a chair and the foot massage specialist works on your feet. The good news is that my left foot that was feeling good still feels good but my right foot with the cramp still has the cramp. I thought I noted it to the check-in person and the foot massage person but who knows if they understood or paid attention. Anyway, it wasn't a bad experience but my foot still hurts. After 2 attempts to resolve my foot cramp, I'm going with Mr. Google and doing what he says.....Who really knows what the issue is but I'm giving up on Maui foot massages as everyone says they do it but nothing gets done....I could pitch for the Dodgers, but would you pay to watch me? They start off by having you sit and put your feet into a warm bath. While your feet are soaking, they massage your scalp, neck, arms, and hands. I wish I could update my past review with better news. Driving to Kihei is a big deal for me, the trip is not along my beaten path. I have tried a couple of times to get in, since my first visit, years ago. I called after COVID, it was appt only, which did not work out with my schedule. I recently called again, hoping for availability--I hadn't spoken to my girls about going. The person on the phone, pretty much badgered me. I said I didn't know when. Never asked if it was for more than 1 person. I finally had to firmly say that I was not about to take a vacation day for this, would be birthday, 'spa' day for me. That ruined the whole deal for me. Then to have my phone ring after I hung up! This was a one time deal for me, which is sad, I REALLY enjoyed the warm towels, foot massage, etc. I will find somewhere that wants my business and has the least bit of aloha. read more

I made an appointment for my sister and I before coming to Maui. The man who answered the phone was very kind. When we got to our appointment, I was pleased to see it was comparable to the foot massage place I went to in LA - dark, quiet, serene instrumental music playing. I had the woman masseuse and my sister had the man masseuse. I thought it was just okay. The woman massaging me was very kind, but she was doing more pin/pressure pointing....I just wanted a straight up good massage, which I had to tell her, but by the time I told her and the fact I had to stop to mention it, it kind of threw off the whole experience. My sister also mentioned that the man who was massaging her, did a lot of holding, I guess she means like pausing and pressure holding maybe. What a great find in the heart of Kihei! We had an open schedule on Monday afternoon following lunch and found this place through a simple imaps search. We called and they got both my wife and me in for 90 minute massages. The establishment is small but quite and well kept. The therapists were fantastic. We've had plenty of massages and paid top dollar for them, these measure up to the best of them. Also, 90 minutes means 90 minutes here. No 10-15 minutes of changing time included! Our experience was so great on Monday that we went back again on Friday! I had booked an hour Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage for myself but my boyfriend wanted to get one too, because which boy likes to sit there...for an hour without getting pampered as well?
