Had always heard good things about this place and decided to check it out. The baked goods I saw looked amazing, but I was trying to be a good boy and skipped it (maybe next time?). I had iced tea with the ham and cheese omelette with whole wheat toast and fruit. The omelette was like homemade. The ham used was perhaps the most flavorful I'd had in a restaurant, no kidding. The fruit tasted about as close to freshly picked as possible and the whole wheat toast was for sure the real deal. Service was a tad slow, but then again, they were slammed so not a big deal, I get it and won't dock a business for that during these times. The place was decorated nicely and would for sure be a place my wife would like and if she plays her cards right, I just might take her there soon! read more

I had been here a couple times for events but had never been into eat until the other day. I won a gift certificate so I was excited to finally try out the cafe part of this place. I ordered a latte and a breakfast burrito. My latte had a nice amount of foam but not like super good foam or latte art and wasn't anything special, my breakfast burrito was different. It usually comes with green chili sauce on it so I ordered it without because I didn't want to eat my burrito with a fork but it came more as a giant breakfast taco so I had to eat it with a fork anyway. It was pretty good, the potatoes could have use a little extra salt tho. When I order a burrito I expect to get a burrito so that was a little disappointing. One huge plus one about this place is that they have a kid play room! That is amazing and my kiddo loved it! Will I be back? Sure, but I wouldn't go out of my way because it's a ways away from home. read more

Very good breakfast burrito! Lovely blueberry croissant. My husband and I are visiting from Las Vegas and we wanted a really good spot for breakfast, before we head into the Umpqua National Forest. Yelp gave us a great place to try! The servers were wonderful, the vibe was magical and the food was outstanding. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for good, fresh food. The menu is not very large, but listen for the special and if you still can't decide-get the burrito...the green chile sauce was bomb! Not too spicy and the flavor sticks with you . Love their pastries. Love the staff, they're super friendly and professional. Wish they were open a little later ( they close at 2pm) but other then that this place is a perfect example of how small businesses should conduct themselves in their community. Next time I'm in will definitely be trying the biscuits and Gravy and a breakfast burrito, as the last few visits I've been working my way through their sweets menu, which are all A+++ amazing. I tired this place for the first time today as takeout through grubhub. I ordered breakfast not knowing what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised! Biscuits and gravy was good, fruit was fresh with a nice variety and the latte was one of the best I've ever had. Very impressed with this place and I'm excited to actually go in person. read more

We attended a Christmas party here during the Holiday's, I was blown away with how beautiful it was inside. There was a table set out for the lighter appetizers, and beautiful Christmas decor, and further back in the hall where all of the dining tables were set up they had the main courses. The food was pretty good, I didn't eat much of it because I showed up later. But I heard everyone else bragging the food up. Our party host paid for a live band. It was really loud in there, the band sounded great but was hard to hear the person you were standing next to. I don't think this had anything to do with this establishment. I think it was the band. There is a dance floor that is pretty large, they have a bar, but I think our party host paid for kegs for his party. I love that there is two sides, one side that has the coffee cafe, and the other side for the venue. The food from the cafe looks amazing, and I want to come in and try it. It looks like they have homemade biscuits, and gravy. I have seen pictures from a dear friends baby shower from here, it looked like it was set up just as nice. I have also heard she does a really great job with weddings. I would love to go here the next time I am in need of a venue. $1 perfect French macaroons?!?!? Unheard of. Even the frozen Trader Joe's version can't compete at that price. The hazelnut chocolate croissant had a generous amount of filling and was baked fresh. Killer. Everything we've eaten here has been delicious and a great value. The staff are always super friendly which helps when they have to tell you they're sold out of everything (we were especially sad to miss out on the soup of the day). Love this local gem! read more

Trudy's has the best food, best baked goods, amazing Chai. Everyone is very kind and courteous. One of my favorite local places to eat and meet friends for coffee. The one star reviews complaining about politics? I've never experienced that and I go here a lot. Strange reading such close minded comments from those who are so "open minded". I frequent establishments that have a wide variety of political and religious beliefs posted in the business. I thought diversity was a good thing! Let's just be kind! read more

Really low quality food and employees. The place is not clean either with trash everywhere including in the customer seating section. Definitely go elsewhere. Owner kept making weird comments about her right wing politics at was very offensive. I wish they would just focus on food. read more

Always enjoy going to Trudy's, either by myself, with family or friends. Greeted by friendly staff. Specials are tasty as well as other items on the menu. Customers are friendly and smiling. I had brunch here. It was clean & welcoming. Staff was great. Service was good. Because it was a Tuesday, I think that explained all the older folks in abundance eating here too. I had a BLT sandwich and then I got a lemon croissant. All of it was great. Prices were reasonable. I'd recommend this place. Beware of hours, since it's not open all day long. read more

I am going to start out by saying that Gordon Ramsay would be proud! This place is incredible. My friend brought me here for brunch today and I can't even begin to tell you how amazing the service and the ambiance is here. The ladies working are so inviting and know exactly what to reccomend. They show so much passion for food which you don't see often anymore. The decor is amazing!!! Very rustic, but modern. We each tried a pastry, coffee, and their Italian soda, and everything we ordered came to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back. I just attended a baby shower that was planned by this establishment's owner. While I didn't personally deal with her, based on what I saw at the baby shower, the work was terrific. The decor was very elegant, subtle, soft yet memorable. A lot of people made observations about how beautiful everything was. They're definitely appeared to be a great attention to detail given that the baby shower was definitely more organized, thought out, and planned for than your usual baby shower. We played a lot of fun games at this baby shower which also helped keep things light and fun. The food, which was catered, and the cake were absolutely delicious. The cake was an artisan cake and far too beautiful to be eaten. But we nonetheless ate it heartily! If this is a indication as to how this event planner conducts business, and she is definitely a reputable and competent event planner. read more

Trudy is amazing. My husband's family booked the event space for a Celebration of Life and Trudy couldn't have been more accommodating. The event space was beautiful and able to hold everyone comfortably. She was always close by should we need something. Her food is also amazing. The lemon bars served at the event were a huge hit. We had breakfast the day before when we were going over the event space and her bacon and cheese scone was the best I have ever had. I'm sad I live in Washington and won't be able to have them regularly. read more

nope. based on reviews my friend and i wanted to try this place. the menu is small. choice of 3 sandwiches, some soup or chili and some salads is the entire lunch menu. after finding a seat we waited 10 minutes to get menus and then another 10 minutes just to get some water. we decided to just leave. how long would it take to actually get our food? neither of us will make this mistake again. read more

If you're considering using the Wildish Theatre for your performance or production, think twice…read more The Majestic Theatre is a far better choice, as The Wildish, even though we were doing what's called a "door deal," no rent to the theater, just splitting the take at the door, refused to split $500 in radio advertising expense, didn't put our show listing on the website until 2 weeks before the show, and only then because I pointed out it wasn't there! They insisted that they just put the show in the Caledar listing at the Register Guard and the EUGENE Weekly, and did social media marketing (though I saw none until the week of, and only on Facebook). We sold 50 tickets. We took the same show to The Majestic Theatre in Corvallis the next night. They advertised on Bicoastal Media radio Stations and got us a story, for our "Baby Boomer Comedy Show," in the local paper, and did a wonderful job of social media marketing, we sold 287 tickets (300 is a sellout). We had the same split the door deal with The Majestic, so at $18 a person, the Theatre made $2,066. The Wildish, I believe in part because the listing didn't make it to the scroll on the website until two weeks before the show (and it might not have made it then if a friend hadn't texted me and said he couldn't buy tickets), I didn't see any social media posts until a week before the show (and only on Facebook) and though we offered to split the cost of radio advertising, none was done, the Wildish netted $605, less than a third of the net for The Majestic, at $2 more per ticket. That's the second time we've brought the show to the Wildish (same lack of promotion the first time as well), and it will be our last. Not sure where the disconnect is when it comes to the Board of Directors realizing that with a "door deal" the theater has skin in the game and needs to step up and promote the show. The Majestic, operated by the City of Corvallis, gets that, in spades. If the Wildish hasn't gone out of business by the time you read this, I'd suggest finding another venue.

On non event days it's one of my favorite nearish parks year round. Bird watching early or evening strolls, shady summer walks or a solid hike up the hill, it's never boring. They've got nature events all year round and easily accessable interpretive trails for fun and education. Go check it out if you want to see what appreciating the land looks like.

The exterior of the EVEC main building and interior lobby are a bit outdated in terms of decor. In contrast, the event hall itself is quite lovely and spacious; large sweeping view of the golf course, high ceilings with lots of wooden beams and pretty hanging light fixtures, a moderate sized wooden dance floor; fireplace with stone mantle that serves as a nice backdrop for a ceremony. The event staff was managed well; the servers were attentive and dressed professionally, and handled the changing/re-arranging of the space from ceremony to reception smoothly. The food, I'm sorry to say, was consistent with the general consensus that food at weddings is typically not memorable. As is to be expected with similar venues; to use the EVEC location and space, one most likely needs to use their caterer. While plentiful, the selections and their presentation was unimaginative and the flavor/quality was less than mediocre. The two most effective examples of this gripe would be the GINORMOUS cheese platter and a ridiculously small selection of dark brown or light brown, barely-stale slices of pullman loaf bread, and the crab cakes reeked of fish sauce. So, yes, your guests will enjoy a lovely view, competent staff, and a venue thats good for an indoor party with a nice space, pretty decor, booze and music. Their catering needs work. If I were to rate the food by my Yelp standards, it would be considerably lower than the 3, but who goes to a wedding to review (solely) the food?
