A solid cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Came here on a Sunday late morning and it was busy but our food and drinks came out quickly. As others have said, you order you food at the counter and it's brought out to you. We split a breakfast burrito and it was basic but good, well-seasoned and enough for two people. Cute place. Soup was amazing on a rainy day. Seating is nice and spacious but plentiful, most importantly the coffee is solid and the sugar free sweeteners are readily listed, in case you want to spruce up your beverage but can't have the regular stuff and you're sick of asking for the options. Thanks for that. I don't know what brand they use, but you can taste the flavor of the syrup over the sweet unlike some of the cheaper stuff other places are using. Thanks for that too. When I am in the mood for a good latte, a good breakfast, and a good atmosphere, I can count on this place. I've never had a bad coffee or a bad meal here, and their service is great! They have WiFi, outdoor seating, indoor seating, and free parking behind their building. I've enjoyed all of their dishes, but my favorite thing here has to be their crepes. From sweet and savory, you can't go wrong. It's nice to come here and relax, sit inside and do some work, or sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. It's nice because it's in Coburg, so you get a more calm and relaxed environment. I always recommend this place to people asking for a good coffee shop. Whenever we have visitors from out of town, I try to bring them here so they can experience it too. Never a bad experience here, but I will say one thing, that you should consider if you care about these types of things. Their ventilation isn't the best, so when you walk in, you'll be hit with the delicious smell coming from the kitchen. Most people I've talked to, agree that it's something to consider because the smell sticks to their clothes after spending some time inside. For me, it's not a big deal. I don't mind it, but since I've heard it from others, I assume it's a concern for many more. Just something to note :) read more

Just 10 minutes outside Eugene, this is a seriously cute bistro! It has wonderful outside seating and a creative interior. The coffee is EXCELLENT and they have many sugar free syrup choices. Blue Valley Bistro was a nice stop on a long drive where we wanted to avoid the usual chain coffee shops. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and I was grateful for their quick menu (and even quicker services) that let us order at the counter, get some coffee and tea for the road ahead, and add on a bagel and a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was very good, with thick slices of bacon and an egg that stayed put as I drove. The homemade biscuit was pretty good too. Overall, this is a good place to stop when you're needing a break and some friendly faces. read more

My husband has the Spinach Salad with chicken added to it and he couldn't stop talking about how good it was and he is not a foodie! The cherry on the top of the cake was the oat milk chai latte! My other friend had some kind of burrito/wrap which was very very dry. The place is not big, not small, well laid out. However, the chairs have no padding on the legs and are scraping over their floor constantly, echoing thru the bistro/seating area. Very annoying and loud and painful on the ears. We ordered a mocha, hot chai and a Carmel latte. We dumbed all three drinks once we walked outside the restaurant. Latte was watery. Mocha tasted burnt. The chai was literally steamed 1% milk. I wasted $30 so you don't have to. It's cute inside but has weird and uncomfortable seatings/Table arrangements. The only down side is that we felt a little discriminated against since we're not white. We're Hispanic. I'm not sure I get the hype about this spot. It's more of a deli counter with a coffee bar than a bistro. You have to stand in line to order and then it can take 30-60 minutes to get your food. They do bring it to your table, but you are expected to bus your own table at the end. The food is okay, nothing extra special about it. Looking around at other tables, the portions seem a bit small for the prices listed. I had the Pastrami Rueben as did, my friend. Hers came out with very little dressing, and she asked for a side. Mine came out a few minutes later, and it was absolutely swimming in dressing. So, it is not the best in terms of consistency. The bread and meat were nice. There was a small side of potato chips and a tiny pickle included. Parking is a little odd. If you cannot find parking on the street you have park in a muddy lot behind the hotels parking lot. The staff was definitely working hard, as they were pretty busy. They were not very pleasant - sort of put out by the request of a napkin or box. All in all - probably wouldn't plan to go again. read more

Stopped by for a bite while I was in town visiting family. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. I decided on the Strawberry crepe and a cold brew. I thought the cost was a little high for just a crepe, but I was hungry and ordered it anyways. Luckily it didn't take too long to receive my food & the crepe was a lot larger than I expected so the price made a little more sense. I was a little disappointed with the flavor. There really wasn't any. The crepe was a little thicker, not the usual crepe consistency and the filling seemed like it was just a whipped cream cheese. Decided to try BVB mid-morning on a Saturday right before the UCLA game. It was a good location to meet family coming down for the game. I must not have read reviews enough because I was prepared for table service and we got there early to get a table for 4 but it is an "order at the counter and then seat yourself" situation. Turned out fine, only seating complaint would be that the tables that can seat 4, two of the four can't really get their legs under the table haha. We ordered coffees, the strawberry crepes and the breakfast burrito to share and 2 sides of bacon. The pumpkin spice coffee was fairly bland on the pumpkin flavor side, until you got down to the very bottom. The coffee flavor was fine but would have been nice to have all the flavors even throughout. The crepes looked delicious but the cream cheese to fruit/crepe ratio was off, there was just too much and only on one side of the crepe roll up. Also I would have enjoyed fresh fruit on top of the crepe instead of inside. The burrito was quite good, I felt it didn't need anything additional and I almost always want hot sauce or salsa with my breakfast burritos. It was very large, great for sharing. The bacon sides were done nicely and were the thick good kind. The interior space is nice, open, clean and bright with a variety of seating, in and out. But like I said earlier, a 4-seat table is a bit awkward here with the table leg design. The person who took our order was nice, but it seemed like the other folks delivering drinks and dishes were either blah or bored. Friends who are experts in finding cool places for coffee and pastries raved about this place so we were excited to try it. Our high expectations weren't met, sadly. I found the selection of pastries limited, so I opted for a tasty scone which they were nice enough to warm up. The coffee was not memorable. My biggest issue, which I saw in another review, was the noise level. Four of us seated at a cramped four-top had to shout to hear each other over the racket from other customers and staff but especially chairs being dragged across the floor as patrons came and went. Sound mitigation efforts are badly needed. For example, put some pads under the chair legs. For now, I have no plans to return. read more

This has been my go-to coffee house for working on my computer. I love their mochas, crepes, sandwiches, and soups! The inside is bright and I enjoy the decor. They serve Cafeto, which is one of my favorite local roasters. They also have a lovely staff that is always working hard! The only thing I wish they would change is the ventilation indoors during the colder months when the garage door isn't open- it gets so smoky that I start to feel sick and don't visit quite as often as I used to due to it. read more
