The service technician comes to our house. We paid him 100.00 for him to open the door on our dryer & tell us what we already knew "no heat". He didn't pull out the fuse box, he didnt look at the heater coil, nothing. Just opened the door. He said he would be returning the next day to fix it. When my husband called him the next day the service guy couldn't give us a price. We paid for a service quote???? Yet the guy didn't know because he didn't look. We didn't want to make arrangements to get it fixed because the guy couldn't give us a general estimate??? He guy comes over without an appointment, we weren't home. He has the nerve to say he's going to charge us 100.00. Btw we watched a you tube video and fixed it ourselves. Don't use these crooks. read more

We called this company and they answered their phone (figure that), gave me a price on what I knew was the problem with our Maytag dryer. They scheduled same day service and charged exactly what was quoted. I watched the technician (Jorge) clean a very heavy lint build up inside to make it look new and clean. He replaced the heater coil and did a fantastic job from start to finish. I so rarely see good customer service these days, but this company has very qualified techs (mine had over 20+ years of experience). He was friendly and very clean with the way he left the area around the dryer. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again. read more

Terrible!! My refrigerator stopped working so I called them to come take a look. The repair man came the next day, surprisingly he showed up within the 3 hour time frame they gave me. He pulled the fridge out, plugged his light in and said "well it's not the outlet!" Then for the next 5 minutes he just shines his light on the control panel in the back. After 10 minutes of being here he said "well, your going to need a new fridge. I can't fix it because the problem is probably inside the fridge, it doesn't happen often but it happens." He charged me $59.00 for a "service call." I got on google and ordered a part form another company. It was here the next day and my brother, who has no experience in any sort of appliance repair, changed it out, and now my unrepairable refrigerator is working again! What crappy customer service...BEWARE...A small fix like a washer lid switch COST 185.00..

Like so many others have said they wanted to charge me $350.00dollars for a part that cost maybe $75.00 the rest labor!! Almost three hundred dollars an hour good grief!!!When I called the owner to double check she was rude and said that is her price if I don't like it toooo bad- called her technician James who was really very nice and told him to take his parts and leave!! That's fine with me as there are plenty of really nice and fair companies to work with in town. read more

I called because my dryer wasn't turning on. They sent someone out fairly quickly and they were in the time window (2 hours) they promised. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was courteous. They charge $55 for a diagnostic that they waive if you do the repair, which all sounded fine to me. Here is where the 2 star rating comes from. They charged me $150 for labor and it only took 30 minutes! I don't care how good an appliance repair person is, they can't seriously be worth $300/hour. My repair bill came to $175, so I opted to do it anyway rather than eat the $55 and then go buy the parts and do it myself, but i felt a little trapped. Next time I will remember to ask for the hourly rate on labor before I pick someone. read more

The man who came to my house to repair our refrigerator was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, pertaining very low level of customer service. I have not needed appliance repair since 2011. in 2011 I called one of the big companies that advertise all the time and they came out and were totally inept. Told me I needed a new computer something or other. Sounded like a bunch of BS to me so I decided to get a second opinion. Called you guys - The dispatcher patched into one of the repairman and he knew exactly what was wrong. It was a door latch thing. Ohhh you guys are awesome. I still have the same washer So fast forward to this year....I still had your magnet on my washer and now my dryer went on the spritz. Again, awesome service. You guys rock. Thank you so much for being honest,(how rare is that in this industry?) perfectionists, knowledgeable, professional and I will use you always!!! I recently had Alpha appliance come out to service my son's washing machine. Had I known about these reviews before hand i would have found someone else!! The technician was very professional but by the time it was all done I had invested over $500. Two weeks later the machine acted up, we had the techician come back out but he could not find anything wrong. An hour later my son tried to do a load and the machine acted up again. I spoke with some lady in the office and was told that he needed to leave the machine alone (with wet clothes in it) until they could come back out. When I asked how long that could take I was told "it depends on what they have going on" but it could be a day or two. I told her that this was unacceptable because not only would my son not have a working machine but that it would have wet clothes in it. They would not consider any sort of refund until they had the chance to make 3 - 4 services calls which I also thought was unacceptable. I have decided to cut my losses and purchase a new machine but I am very upset that I am out $500 due to a company that would not consider any refund because of the situation. Absolutely fantastic service, great rates, very friendly, and super professional!!

Great people to work with. I had contacted four repair shops before deciding on Alpha. I thought I had an idea of what I needed and 3 of the four gave me a quick estimate. The fourth couldn't estimate even the cost of the parts over the phone. I spoke with Jamie and she was great and also very friendly. She answered almost every question I had but was not 100% sure of one and rather than just guess or try and get by she offered to have the technician call me, none of the others even bothered to offer. George called me back sometime after 5pm and spent 20 minutes on the phone explaining other possible problems. They set me up for next day repair. George called to let me know he was on his way and arrived before the actual appointment time. He was professional and had a lot of knowledge he passed on to me. The $300.00 plus estimate came out to be a $55.00 repair. I would recommend and use this company again because of the quality of the people they employ, (Jamie and George) and they are honest !!! I wish I would have gone with someone else. I chose them to come out to look at my washing machine because they only charge $55 for a diagnostic visit, which they will apply to repair if they complete it. Wow! that's where it really gets out of line. They charged $85 for a washing machine coupler, plus $150 for the repair. Didn't know better, so we did it. When I called to ask if there was a mistake, the lady I talked to said very firmly that's how they run their business, they have to make money. I understand that businesses need to mark-up for parts, but this is a $5 - $15 part, and in my opinion $35 would be the highest reasonable markup. Plus $150 for a 1/2 hr visit? They get 2 stars instead of 1 because the repairman was prompt and courteous, they have flexible evening and weekend hours, and my problem is fixed (hopefully for a long time). read more
