He told me they probably wouldn't be able to fully make the dent disappear, but that they'd get it to the point where it wouldn't really be noticeable. I really appreciated the honesty. When I picked up my car, I was blown away. I can't even tell where the dent was anymore unless I know exactly where to look. The repair turned out way better than I expected. On top of that, the price was very reasonable, especially considering how good the results were. I was quoted a 10-day turnaround after paying a little over $600 upfront. After taking my deposit, Rick told me my vehicle was somehow unique and that he had ordered the wrong parts--even though he had my VIN from the beginning. This delayed the repair, and ultimately he stopped following through on the job altogether. I tried to be patient and even offered to work with him on a revised plan. He assured me he would "take care of me" and possibly help with some smaller repairs instead, but after making those promises he effectively stopped responding and missed deadlines. It's now been nearly two months, the work was never completed, and I am out over $600. I've filed a chargeback with my credit card company because I was unable to resolve the issue directly. Based on my experience, the pricing may seem attractive, but the follow-through was not there. I would recommend being cautious before paying a deposit with this vendor.
