Just had bodywork and total car repaint done on my 2003 Mustang GT at the Craig location @ 4120 E Craig Road. Car looks great. They took care of me and helped me out with any questions, comments, or concerns. Under new management, and these guys are doing great work. Benny(or Bennie) the new manager, and Luis(I believe he's a regional manager) where very nice, walked me through the whole thing, and gave me my car in a condition I could finally be happy with. 3.5 + 3.5 days = a week for just a trunk repaint ?? I ran Earl Scheib Auto Paint for quite some time and we were MAACO's biggest competition when it came to quality paint & finish I began at the bottom to store manager so yeah I know a bit about maintaining quality control----this MAACO in N Las Vegas has NONE Sam the manager is a likable fellow however IMPO lacked the FULL and/or proper training to develop an eye for details. w/out going on & on lets just say every time I went there I never saw a fresh customer walk in it was always come-backs or redo's, thats tragic. as a manager we understood that would adversely affect the profit margin not to mention also taking time away for proper INSPECTION then delivery of customer's vehicles what began as a simple trunk repaint became a total nightmare as their removal of the taped off areas also stripped off the paint on the rest of my car when it was done. they then presented my car to me and shockingly even S. Wonder could see there were areas as large as 3" that had the existing paint removed, overspray here & there and even on my windshield. injury to insult they even damaged some of the surrounding areas that looks like run off from wet sanding and was allowed to dry and cake up on the existing paint. it didnt come off when I tried now I see the importance of manager proper training by Earl Scheib. we made sure the entire team were on the same page as we had team pride in delivering outstanding finishes no matter the paint gloss caliber the customer opted for. this MAACO is non existent in both pride & attention to detail. as amiable as Sam was, I liken him to an NFL QB-------theyr only as good as the offensive line otherwise he will be sacked time & time again....feel me? lastly BEWARE of these key words I was given, "we only warranty the area we repaired or repainted" thats was their umbrella protection policy that covers their arses for fkn up the rest of my car. its their get-out-of-jail card. thats why they left my car in shambles now I have to repaint the entire car again ELSEWHERE if only I could post pics here you would be horrified read more

I brought the family vehicle down here to get repainted. It had been about 20 yrs since I last used this MAACO location. After almost a decade of being blasted by the sun the ol' minivan was starting to look a little rough. I made an appointment to get an estimate at the location on the same day within 30 minutes. I was greeted by Edward who explained their process and made some recommendations on which one of their paint options would suit me best. The manager, Chris, also helped out during this process. I was able to drop off my vehicle the next business day and they even ordered me a Lyft back home, I was definitely not expecting this and was pleasantly surprised. It took about 5 days for my vehicle to get painted. Once I saw it, it looked good as new. They do their best to minimize overspray and they mention this several times. I did not see any upon pickup and once I got home. Overall I was happy with how the family car came out for the value. read more

Brought my car in to be painted on the 29th of October. Missing spots and running on the trim that was supposed to be painted. After several trips down there (by their request). There was always an excuse as to why they could not fix it on each of those days. Finally, I was told they were all out of trim paint and they would call when it came in so they could fix the problem. Time passed...No call...so I called but was told " Not in yet. Vegas! Recently, I visited the MAACO on Craig to give one of my babies a much needed paint job and new skin... She's sexy now! The truck previously had the deep blue ocean stock paint from Nissan, and as most Nissan owners know, the clear coat fades on all years 2004-2014. Somehow Nissan decided to cut costs around paint jobs, but, this is what places like MAACO are for. Sure, you dish out some cash, but Miguel (manager) took care of me! Although, I only wanted to pay their lowest 2yr package, I thought of this as an investment. So spent a bit more and was given a 4 year warranty . They gave me a "metallic midnight black" giving it a mirror like finish! Not all MAACO franchises have the same quality standards as they are franchises, but; this one is pretty legit in my book. Shout out to Carlos for working on my car too. You can clearly see the Before/After pics... it's a massive difference. Treat your car well and it will last you a lifetime. Luckily for me, no bodywork was needed or anything. Just a straight up sand/paint job here... was really happy with my choice of doing a whole new color change on the truck... it takes skill to do a color change without orange peel, but these guys did it... Ohwwweeee. This place is no good. They stated my car would be done in 3 days and it took 7 days. The paint job is terrible. Bubble Blisters are in random places in 9 different areas ( from the hood to the trunk). The guy (Anthony) at the paint shop stated if he needed to buff out the bubbles it would cost more money or it could be done on my own. 1st - you lie about the time it takes to do the paint job 2nd - you do a poor job 3rd - you try to get extra money for something that is already included in the paint job 4th- the audacity to tell someone they can buff it out on their own 5th- telling paying customers that the painters don't feel like staying to work overtime for the car so I need to wait until Monday THE PROBLEM IS THIS: TOO MANY CUSTOMERS HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. I had my vehicle painted in August 2024. Paid the initial 50 percent the start the service then paid the remaining balance upon completion. On Dec 13, I received a notice from a collection agency stating they were trying to collect a debt. I called and the rep stated I owe MAACO. I went to MAACO and the employee stated their record showed--They sent a Text on Nov 22 trying to reach me. They notice later that they didn't charge me for a service they provided. Instead of trying to contact me through my address, MAACO ha my address on file to resolve this issue, MAACO management decided to report it to a Debt Collector. I informed the employee that official business is handled through formal written documents not text from unknown numbers. Just awful. Brought them a few small parts to paint. They said they would be done in a day after I prepaid. Nearly a week later I came in, was made to sign for the parts before I saw them and they had literally taken a rattle can to them that same day. Still tacky, paint runs everywhere and no where near covered. Do not use this shop. They refused a refund as I had signed for the merch. Lesson learned. To start my experience 1. Took 3 days to get the right color finally 4 days total.They didn't sand off the bonding under the paint redo. Week later picking it up the truck the had over spray every where on the rubber and windows. They also buff the clear coat off the grill and hood Repaint. Again going to pick the truck The hood was painted right color except the clear coat around the fittings (the windows sprayer) was pull off and the clear coat was chipped off. The quality control is not very good . I called the district manger, didn't return my call. So next step was calling main office. Was told they don't get involved with the franchisee problems. My car came in completely destroyed by the sun. The paint damage was so extensive that in places, it was down to the bare metal. These guys were quick and efficient! I picked out a different color since I have multiple cars of the same color. Once I left it, I had doubts that the car wouldn't look good after the painting process had been completed. This Maaco on 4120 East Craig Road, North Las Vegas, NV is the worst place I would go to for bady repair and paint. Very bad experience with the manager on duty Michael Young as a liar and unworthy of as manager of the shop. I took my 2009 SLK 350 for a collision repair and paint. My insurance went ahead for approval with the estimate of around $4700 with them. After close to a month, the manager Michael said that they are still waiting for some parts. After around 45 days, I called again and said he needs approval for Trunk Lid replacement and State Farm insurance approved it. After 2 months, the manager said everything is in order and they are working on my car. After 3 weeks again I called them that my rental car will expire and the manager said it will be ready in a few days and they are just removing oversprays on the car. On the third month the manager said that the Rear right lens has a crack and needs to be replaced with an OEM parts since the insurance quote was only for a recycled part. And so, since he said the car is ready and drivebable I can pick it up and just wait for the parts to come in. I went there on the day my rental car allowance has expired. I went with my Brother in Law to pick up the car only knowing that the car has still a lot of over spray, gasket was never replaced and the worst the Hard top will not go down. Some weeks ago, I clearly told the manager to check if this is working and said he did. I asked him that to test if they had put all things together. Obviously, he was lying. He did not check the Hard top functioning, he did not check if the overspray was done and so forth. I can't take the car without fully paying the bill and said you just come back and we will fix the problem I had no choice but the pay them in full so I can have a car for the weekend use. He said they will take the car to Mercedes Shop for diagnostiics of the problem with the rooftop. He said if it is not related to the accident I have to pay for it. When I went home I google the problem and I found out that they did not put back the sensor switch when they replaced the panel and when I shorted the cable, everything works fine as before. Now they have to find out where the switch is that was attached to the old panel. To my dismay all these thing happening they would not even give me a Loaner car so I can use while waiting for their mistakes to be taken cared of. read more

I was referred to Maaco by a friend from work. So I made my appointment and came in on a Saturday. The gentleman behind the counter-Brendan came out to do my estimate. After reviewing everything he gave me a price because it was a two stage process. I was concerned because I have a mazda. He gave me the price and I was excited because it was really low. So I went ahead made my appointment and agreed to bring in my car on Monday. Monday rolls around I met a different gentleman at the counter, which I believe was the manager. He asked if I had my estimate, I told him it was at home. He asked for my information and tells me that Brendan had quoted the wrong price. He states it was a 3 stage process for Mazda and it will cost another $75. So he came out to check on the front bumper because there were some deep scratches that I wanted to take care of. He says we can just do just that area. He says if he does the whole bumper, they would have to sand and get the imperfections out. So I agreed to get the whole bumper done. Came back on Tuesday at 2pm. Saw my car out front and wanted to see it before I came into make the payment. I noticed that the front bumper had a darker shade. I said that doesn't look right. I came in and I saw Brendan at the counter. After he took care of all his customers ahead of me, I told him that the bumper was really dark. So he tells me that yeah I noticed that as well. So we both went to the car and he takes a once over and says the reason the color is the way it is, is that the painter put too much clear coat which made the paint darker. I said ok. So he said we would need to re-do it but we will have to wait a couple of weeks because the paint hasn't healed and it would get mucky. So I said ok! He wanted me to bring in the car on the 15th of February. Something just didn't sit right with me. So I took my car to two auto paint and body shops. One a ma and pa shop with 4 and 5 star reviews and two a very reputable shop that's always on TV ads. I explained the situation and they said you were screwed! They told me if Maaco had done it right in the first place, you wouldn't have a different kind of color. Both body shops even stated that they didn't even sand or prep the area. All they did was spray painted over the original color and then added the clear coat. The 2nd body shop had me run my hands on the bumper and you can feel how wavy the surface was to the touch. And when I did that the paint started to rub off and you could see the original paint just under it. I was really disappointed! All I can say to anyone who reads this review is if it's too good to be true, it ain't! If you decide to get your vehicle done by any Maaco shop, WELL, YOU were warned! read more

The Maaco autobody shop that I went to is on Craig off of lamb and I will say that the main guy working there tall slender black man and he was very helpful and knowledgeable in all areas of the company and what they do. He's very friendly and is very detailed and specific on what can be done & what is probs my not realistic depending on each car/situation . He does try to get an idea of exactly what it is the customer is looking for and gives an honest assessment. read more

@maaco I cannot understand how @maaco is still in business. They caused additional damage to my vehicle, still charged me and will not pay to get it fixed. I took my car to get fixed and after them having it for almost 40 days, they reached out to me three times to tell me my car was done. Each time I go to pick it up, the work is poorly done. It looked like a kid used playdoh to put my car back together. Finally, for the third third, I go to pick it up and still, the work is not done correct. At that point, I needed my car back and they told me to make an appt to have it fixed, again. As I get home I notice, overspray all Over my dashboard and steerling wheel, paint drips on the doors, paint where there shouldn't be pain...and wait for it.....my door would not open from the inside! Leaving anyone needing to exit in the event of an emergency trapped! In addition to all of this, my locking system on the car is no longer working and when you drive with all the windows up, it's sounds like the window is down! They refuse to pay for this. We had a BMW 328 that our son drove in 2021. This particular model was very low in the front of the car. A couple of times our son went over the cement block in a parking space. When he backed up the cement block damaged the bumper. We went to Maaco at 4120 E Craig Rd North Las Vegas, NV 89030. They tried to fix the bumper but unsuccessfully. Eventually they recommended a new bumper. We purchased a new bumper and they installed it. We switched cars with our son so that only my wife and I were driving the BMW. However, the bumper completely fell on one side and the BMW had no contact with anything. The mechanics that installed the bumper had not done it properly. We took the BMW back to Maaco at the same location at the end of December 2021 and showed them the problem. Jaime Velasco, Area Operations Manager did not believe that their mechanics had installed the bumper improperly. He accused us of hitting something and kept arguing with me. Finally, I got him to agree to at least attach the side of the bumper that had fallen. While I was waiting Jaime brought me his phone and said that his boss wanted to talk to me. I took the phone and his boss Joe Taormina started yelling at me immediately saying that he knew what I was up to. I asked him what he thought I was up to. He said that he was tired of all these customers taking advantage of the company and trying to get things for free. I told him that the mechanics that installed the bumper were incompetent. He did not agree with me and kept yelling at me saying I was taking advantage of the company and that we had hit something. This was not true. I received extremely rude behavior and poor customer service by Jaime Velasco and Joe Taormina. This is not the kind of service that would encourage a customer to return to the business. The technicians or mechanics were incompetent when installing the new bumper. Maaco is a scam and are ripping people off. They should not be allowed to stay in business. I have filed a complaint on them with their corporate office and also the Better Business Bureau. In both complaints I have requested a refund of $1,000 which includes the cost of the bumper and the personal stress and hassle we went through. We have not received any refund at this time and I am requesting this amount from this review as well. Hopefully, in the future Maaco will refund us. Also hopefully in the future they will get competent mechanics and different management or at least train their mechanics properly and management not to be so rude and provide good customer service. Do not go to this place. If I can save anybody a headache, a headache would be downplaying the stress I was put through. I lived right across the street from Maaco. In North Las Vegas. So I figured them my best bet to have my SUV worked on. I figured if something happened and I could no longer afford a rental At Least I could just walk over and pick my car up. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. There's NOTHING Convenient about MAACO. If I can save anybody a headache...and that would be downplaying the stress I was put through do not go here. Maaco lied to Me. They lied to Progressive my insurance provider. They lied again and again and again. If you value your time, something you can never get back. Do not go here. I was in constant contact with MAACO and here's what happened. My car had some front bumper damage from a hit and run. Nothing a competent body shop couldn't take care of. I had my car towed there Dec 12th 2019. Parts were Not ordered Until the 2nd week of January of the Next Year! Remind you I live across the street. No reason why the order shouldn't have begun in a timely manner. I was told the parts were FINALLY ordered 3 weeks later?? Pause. Some of you may think that this may be due to the delay from holiday shipments during the Christmas season which delayed things. This would be wrong. In the many bs lies MAACO told to explain why it took over a 1 1/2 months for my SUV to be repaired, this was never one of them. After my MAACO Point of Contact, who's name I am glad I don't remember but will find it for the sake of this review later. For now I'll call him POC. The MACCO Point of Contact (POC) told both Progressive and myself all parts were ordered. This is the first week of January now. I wait a few days before I contact MAACO to see the progress made on the repairs....if You do not call constantly, over and over, you Will never Get anything Done to Your Car. A huge problem with MAACO is when you call the shop you are forwarded to their Corporate call line, which knows nothing about your situation. They suggest you call the show directly. But, when you call the shop directly even during Business Hours you may still be forwarded to this Corporate line. This happened over and over again. This happened every step along the way. I'm convinced had I never called these people as much as I did my car would be in the back lot somewhere 5 months later with no repairs. So now I'm told ALL the parts Were Not Ordered. They never called ME to give me a heads. No reason or explanation. Just "they're not here." Why did MAACO not order everything at once? No explanation. If you value your time, do not go to this place. You may think the delay in parts is why the repairs took so long, also not the case. And inconsistent with what Maaco told me later. More on that later. My insurance company told different lies. Even when I went to pick my vehicle the POC who had been "working" on my SUV couldn't keep his own narrative. The worst part was the final week. I'm trying to wrap this up. I called on Saturday (a month after this all began) the POC told me MY VEHICLE would be done by Monday. Told my insurance company that. My vehicle was still not fixed until a WEEK LATER. I called EVERY day, sometimes twice a day. MAACO told me Monday, then Monday it would be done Tuesday. Then Tuesday it would be done Wednesday. Then Wednesday...so on and so on until I'm still left without my car on Friday. Mind you this is still a month and half after my vehicle was brought in for repairs. When I showed up, inside was a mess. Footprints inside the interior. A disaster. Also have pictures. I talk to the point of contact and asked what took so long? He told me he was waiting on the insurance company check? I asked then why was I told by YOU MACCO on monday you were waiting on the body mechanic, tuesday waiting on the paint, wednesday waiting on the wash...thursday. If there's a problem between insurance and the sop that's something else. BUT MAACO LIED every step of the way, Every day of the week. The first I was hearing about this was when I showed up. So I asked why this story isn't consistent with the story he told me on the phone that week: Then the lies came pouring in: I should've called. He didn't have my number. We only talked once. POC still had the nerve to lie and said we only talked TWICE since my car was sent there. We'd talked at least 3 times THAT WEEK Alone. I Showed him the call log. I asked why didn't he tell my insurance company there was a problem? Lies. More Lies. On top of my car being a mess, I later checked the panel and it's loose. I know I should've inspected it better when I first picked it up but was so frustraited with these people I just wanted to leave. Turns out MAACO also blew a fuse in my vehicle.
