took my 2018 Honda Pilot Here Once! it was overheating and acting up. brought it, paid for it, took about 2 days to get it done! 3 days later, it did the same thing! I called them and they told me to bring it in, to see if they had missed something or something was left undone. my husband was at the Taco Bell and we asked for a tow truck, they said okay, but if it was their fault we wouldn't have to pay for it but, if it was something else other than what they were fixing, we'd have to pay the towing. the owing fee was $150... from Taco Bell, to the shop. it wasn't even that far. my husband ended up asking help to push the car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]we get a call the next day, that the car is ready. we come in, they said "alright, take it". didn't get charged or get any explanation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] second incident, my husband brings in his 2015 Chevy Silverado. it needs breaks changed on all 4. tell me why it's $2,000 ?? what do we do, we bring all the parts. the brakes and brake pads and router, and caliber. just for the labor it was $700? which is crazy, cause [[HIGHLIGHT]]my husband kept going back and forth with them. they kept telling him they weren't the right breaks, or pads, and my husband comes to talk to the machanic and he's like "oh sorry, we haven't even opened the boxes or looked at them"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] NEVERMIND, $680 to change one set of breaks, router and caliber. Beware of Misleading Diagnosis - Get a Second Opinion! We recently took our 2019 Lincoln Nautilus to Alpha Automotive in Locust Grove due to sluggish performance and visible exhaust emissions. After a quick inspection, we were informed the vehicle needed a brand-new engine--a repair quoted between $9,000-$10,000. The staff insisted this was the only option, and they removed the engine cover during the process. Thankfully, we sought a second opinion from a trusted mechanic and took the car to Legacy in McDonough, where we were told an engine replacement was completely unnecessary. The issue turned out to be a known and documented problem with that engine model (supported by a Ford service bulletin), not a catastrophic failure. Legacy handled the fix properly, professionally, and at a fraction of the quoted cost. When we contacted Alpha Automotive about the removed engine cover, they did apologize--but that didn't change the fact that we were nearly misled into an expensive, unnecessary repair. Our recommendation: Always get a second opinion, especially when faced with high-cost diagnostics. This experience raises concerns about transparency and trustworthiness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beware of mis communication..and if you have a major pending repair, get a second look somewhere else.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've been waiting on a call back from Lindsey about a partial refund request.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went in for a service B. I requested an AC check as well as transmission mounts check. About 3 hours later I was told I had a "small maybe large" oil leak-from cam shaft plugs. and my AC compressor was out. Lindsey looked for a compressor and quoted the price making that priority. I was to return the next day for the repair. When I got in my vehicle to leave, AC was warm/hot and made sense because I was told the AC just wasn't circulating the refrigerant. Made it home and called a buddy over to look at the oil leak being Alpha didn't focus on that. Well what we found as soon as the hood was lifted-one of the cam plugs was protruding out. We both tried to figure how was an AC repair placed in front of an oil leak, leaking on to the exhaust, which is flammable. I had to get plugs before I could drive it back for the compressor repair. So my buddy felt that was suspicious and suggested we attempt to add freon just in case. Sure enough, a bottle of $50 Freon from Walmart did the trick. Ice ice cold now. Two days later I returned to Alpha because the tech forgot to reset my service menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I pulled up with freezing AC and ran into Scot (GM) who is actually a cool dude. He reset my service menu, and we chatted about AC compressors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I mentioned what had happened and he said no way, if my AC was that cold, and after briefly looking under my hood, that I didn't need a compressor. All I asked for was a partial return on the AC recharge fee which I didn't think a couple hundred dollars would be a big deal. They didn't and couldn't provide the AC compressor test results so I have no idea what the situation is with my AC compressor other than the fact that I'm still riding cold. In summary, it seems like the higher priced service was the focus. However the Benz angels were on my side that day because the compressor couldn't make it there before closing. If it had, I would have gotten it replaced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'd like to mention the importance of communication. Our vehicles work because a network of components communicate with each other so that we can enjoy a smooth safe ride. If techs, front desk, and drivers drops the ball in this area, our vehicles suffer and our pockets. We have to be willing to be honest and clear.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Because of this, I just cannot recommend this particular location. read more

I went in there for a slow leak on one of my tires. They found a nail in 2 tires. They fixed them both for me and I was out the door. Everyone was really friendly and energetic and made me feel like I have been going here for years. Prices are affordable and just watching how they interacted with other customer, they didn't try to upsell anything and wasn't pushy when a service was turned down. I will be going back again in the future if I need help with a tire. read more

Took my car to get a diagnosis because my check engine light was on. They told me I had get a $140 oil change before they could run a diagnosis. After 3 and half of waiting, they told me I had low pressure in one of the cylinder. Charged me $400 for an oil change and diagnosis. Took my car to another shop and come to find out it was a bad coil pack ($40). Stay away from Alpha Automotive!​ read more

Traveling this past Friday on 75N towards Atlanta my car rapidly began losing PSI on a rear tire. I quickly pulled off the highway and made it to a competitor location, of which they deemed the tire unrepairable due to a large screw in the tread, and their only offer was a replacement, of which they did not have stock of and couldn't guarantee next day availability to install once one was located. A quick Google search lead me to Alpha Automotive (upon arrival with 1 PSI left in my tire) of which proved to be a life-saver. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My initial interaction was with Lynsey. I explained the situation, and in torrential rain she went out and inspected the tire, confirming that the tire was unrepairable[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also did not have my specific tire in stock, but realizing the situation there were four staff resourcing for someone locally that did.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]One was located and a woman, who's name I didn't catch, offered to drive 15 minutes each way in the still torrential rain to get the tire.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While waiting I was able to chat with Don, whom I learned is the GM. I wanted him to realize what world-class, customer service of yesteryear he had with his store and staff[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My anxiety was through the roof, and this was quickly remedied by their true customer service oriented services.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Regardless of them closing in less than two hours when I first arrived, they not only took care of me, but I witnessed them accommodating countless other customers during my wait. Had my truck towed to the shop . They had it for over a week and could not diagnose the problem so they just gave up . They did not charge me since they didn't find the problem . But now I get to pay to have it towed to another shop to see if they can find out what's wrong with it . Not a good look for an automotive repair shop !!! Now I'll be $250.00 in towing bills and still have no idea what's wrong with my truck !!! read more
