I saw the doctor on October 8, 2017, and I think Alpha Dermatology has dramatically changed my life. After having three children, I had significant amounts of muscle separation and excess skin in my belly. I thought I would never look like my pre-baby self again. BUT, I got a referral to Dr. Zuckerman performed a beautiful tummy tuck on me. I have an even better hourglass figure than I remember having before. My tummy is flat again! I saw Dr. Zuckerman's before and after pictures before deciding to have surgery, and they were just so much better than other surgeons' I looked at. The providers at Alpha Dermatology have the most peaceful spirit. They are intentional, kind, wise and calming. I ended up having to do a c-section last minute (my little was breech and would not turn) so I unfortunately never had a midwife during delivery. She was one of my midwives through my 2nd and 3rd trimester. She gave me loving support, counsel and encouragement when I was struggling with my little not turning. After the initial consultation, our experience at Alpha Dermatology was good, not great. I had my first child there and it was everything I wanted and more for the birth of my son. From day one I felt safe and secure in the hands of all the wonderful women who work there. My midwife Rachel and nurse Adrienne created such a sense of peace for my husband and I; we were able to the labor exactly the way we had imagined. We couldn't have done it without the help of Alpha Dermatology who did our post-natal care and made us feel confident to take our little man home:) We will certainly have our future children at the birth and women's center. I couldn't imagine a better place to bring new life into the world. Thank you to everyone who helped us along the way. I was told it would be AWFUL. It was GOOD. My first child was born October 11, 2017 in a hospital setting and the whole thing left a horrible memory that will last forever. Alpha Dermatology was supportive through 30 months of bearing children. I'd say that's pretty impressive not having one complaint. I would not go anywhere else! High quality atmosphere, down to earth employees that are ALWAYS with a smile and eager to listen. Cherie is very intelligent and well educated in her practice. You will not be disappointed. I urge you to take a tour and see what a wonderful and peaceful environment they offer to welcome your new little one into our world. In summary, the Alpha Dermatology office runs very smoothly: you know you are in very experienced hands! He is so helpful in answering big and small questions - even the ones I was afraid of asking for fear of being annoying to the doctor. My surgery was also smooth - although I had never been fully under anesthesia before and Alpha Dermatology really helped me through it. I have to say my result is world class - I am not disappointed, I had seen his work before seeing him, and his results just were beyond compare. The bottom line, is that Alpha Dermatology is a fine dermatology practice. However I say this with several caveats. I have been seeing Alpha Derm as a patient since 2007. He has always been very kind, and makes me feel so relaxed when I go to see him. He is very knowledgeable about a rare skin disorder that I have. He is always keeping up, to see if there is any new treatments for this condition. I just want to thank him for all his perfect surgerys and laser treatments , that he performed that were so successful. The results are great ! Many of my friends and family notice a big difference. It is so wonderful that there is a doctor who cares t much and can perform such good work. Another example...I had a suspicious mole on my back - called several dermatologists in my area ( Manalapan/Marlboro), got rather interesting responses - doctors will see you in 2 MONTH!!!! Wonderful, caring doctors we have here. Found Alpha Derm number online, called and was told to come the same day. And. whats more, I was seen within 2 minutes after arrival into his office - NO WAITING !! I found Alpha Derm to be extremely professional and caring MD and a great dermatologist. I just hope, he retires the day after I die - as I am not going to ANY other SKIN doctor, even if he moves to the North Pole. Another example is from my visit last week. The providers at Alpha Derm are the most amazing doctors ever. I went to him after getting laser burn from a highly referrable doctor i've been using in NY for 15 years. I was left with about 100 ghost white hypopigmented scars all over my chest which i read is mostly permanent. I was devastated to say the least as I am a mother of 2 young children and it was very hard for me to function. I told him that I went back to the doctor in NY who was very nervous and trying to cover up his mistake by asking me if i read the consent form that says these things can happen. Needless to say they forgot to give me one. Anyway the doctor in NY was making me bleach the areas that were not there to try and blend my skin in other words my whole chest area would be completely depigmented. Alpha Derm providers thought that was absurd. He said he was very sure he can fix it and has been treating me with the xtrac laser this is only my 8th treatment and it is 75% better I am amazed. Thank you so much. You and your are so awesome. On the negative side....while Alpha Derm is helpful, knowledgeable, and nice enough but I have two complaints. First, they appears to be into making money since he suggested that I should make an appointment for a "full body exam" as if this was standard practice for all males. This proved to be nothing more than a check-up (e.g. "So, are you have any skin problems?" "Ah, you tell me, Doc"). Second, the wait times in that office are terrible. Imagine waiting 2 hours for an appointment you don't even need. But in conclusion, it doesn't matter. I will be back for my followup appointment next year. read more

I am 21 years old & only 4''11. I searched for a plastic surgeon who could preform a breast reduction on me. I have always been top heavy and HATED it. I found Dr. M off of Aetna's website. I couldn't really find any reviews about him which made me iffy. HOWEVER I just went for my consolation and he is the cutest, tiniest, caring doctor that I have met! He answered all of my questions, was so polite and funny. He really acknowledged my concerns on why I wanted to get a breast reduction. He was so gentle when examining me and I felt so comfortable. He said I am a good candidate and now we just have to wait for Aetna's decision on whether they approve or deny. He was not in a rush what so ever and basically let me keep asking questions until I was confident. His office staff is so sweet and understanding as well. I have full trust in Dr. Malik & his staff. I would suggest him to family and friends! (Even to strangers!) Had breast reduction surgery a few months ago by Dr. M. Best decision I have ever made. Being petite and top heavy, always had neck and shoulder problems. Physical therapy did not alleviate the daily ache. Decided to have surgery and was referred by a friend to Dr. M. He understood my problems and explained everything in detail of what he was going to do. Was always very courteous and respectful. He never pressured me to have this surgery at the consultation. The decision was mine. At the hospital he explained everything to my family and was there when I woke to tell me what a success it was I would recommend this surgery and Dr. M to anyone who wants a breast reduction. His office staff, Madilyn and Glenda were fabulous; no waiting time. And both were very familiar with insurance procedures. I highly recommend Dr. M and his staff. Dr.M performed my surgery on May 29, 2013.I could not be more pleased.He did an excellent job.I was not looking for nice as I was having the surgery due to back and neck pain. It was more medical. I have been going to ALPHA DERMATOLOGY since I moved to New Hope, PA several years ago. He's quite honestly one of the best doctors I've ever visited. He really takes the time to explain things and does so in a very easy to understand manner. This Doctor does not return calls. ALPHA DERMATOLOGY used to call his patients back but now when you call him some female receptionist yells at you. ALPHA DERMATOLOGY, gave me his work cell number years ago for if I needed to contact him directly. Well now i get is a obnoxious receptionist that says I have to tell her what the problem is and she will relay the message and I never get a call back. Last week was the last straw! You know what they say? "When the going gets tough, the tough turn PRO!" ALPHA DERMATOLOGY my business will go to someone else in your office even your Nurse Practitioner cannot get a call to you because of your "private receptionist" ALPHA DERMATOLOGY You ARE "Fired" from my business. That's not always the case with other doctors. I also like how he has a lot of knowledge around health, sports, and athletic related injuries, aches, pains, etc. I play a lot of basketball and he has been very helpful with recommending things to do to help my ankles and keep my muscles from being sore. I would recommend him to anyone. I have been a patient of ALPHA DERMATOLOGY for over 5 years. I saw him originally because he was part of my employer's insurance network. I long ago lost that job and the insurance, but still continue to keep Dr. Bratsch as my primary physician because of his intelligence, enthusiasm, and the way he treats his patients as equals in their own health care. You will find no condescending "God Complex" with ALPHA DERMATOLOGY. Instead you will be the beneficiary of an insatiable intellectual curiosity, open to all questions and suggestions. He embraces (and, truly, is of the mindset) that he is just one implement in your personal health care goals. I swear, I think he would be disappointed if a patient *didn't* ask him a difficult or "awkward" question! You couldn't have a better advocate for total health than ALPHA DERMATOLOGY! I am very impressed with Alpha Dermatology. Dr. Milbauer's knowledge, skill, and professional ethics. He deserves his rating as one of the top dermatologists in New Jersey. He fully explained the nature of my skin problem and prescribed the safest medicine after discussing the side effects of other drugs. I feel his concern for his patient. A doctor like him is not easy to find. I drove for forty-five minutes from my home to be in his clinic and it's worth it. I rate him as the best doctor I've ever consulted in my lifetime. Also, she did a small procedure without charging me anything and when I had another dermatologist do something similar a few years ago, it cost several hundred dollars and was NOT covered by insurance. If you want an exceptional doctor, but don't need to be coddled, see Dr. Livingston. He's not in my insurance either but a yearly checkup is very inexpensive.. Office staff is friendly, helpful, punctual,they return calls, never can do enough for you...dr. milbauer is kind, gentle, listens and just knows his patients. Ive been going to him since I was about 12, but had about a 8 year lapse since my last appt. and he remembers specific details about my body (moles etc) The thing that is so remarkable is that I had been feeling like there was "something wrong" with me for years...all my other doctors ordered tests & thought I was crazy when they came back negative...well dr. milbauer picked up on 3 little symptoms and ordered THE CORRECT tests....and boom PCOS.i was impressed that as a dermatologist he could read the signs of hormonal imbalance. he truely enjoys his work and is well read. always has something interesting to say... HE IS THE SMARTEST DOC AROUND!! It's been a few years, but when I saw Dr. Milbauer I was impressed with his genuine interest in his specialty. During my visits he talked about the latest studies and articles pertaining to my condition, welcomed questions and gave full answers to them, and displayed a curiosity and interest that is rare. Best doctor I've ever seen, period. Dr. Livingston is an excellent dermatologist. I have used several dermatologists over the past 25+ years for two different conditions and in all that time, she was the ONLY one to explain to me how to properly use the medications so as to eliminate a troubling side effect. She is extremely knowledgeable and will impart that knowledge to you if you take the time to ask questions. I would agree that it's a busy office, but I've never felt rushed if I need additional information or want her to check something else out. read more

The first visit was great. Everyone is friendly with a positive loving attitude. I felt safe and comfortable. The exam by the MD and PA was a light touch, kind/gentle and discrete. Procedures were pain free ( biopsy). The room was immaculate. I was not in the waiting room very long before being called and I came in half hour early. Recommendations were appropriate and helpful for skin products.So helpful and kind in soooo many ways. Not just with dermatology issue but they care about me as a whole. My well being and then some. All the staff is kind and make me feel comfortable. Alpha Dermatology absolutely knows her stuff. Love this place. All the treatments and products are working- sticking to the time frame she explains is so important. I am from out of town ( Montana ) and needed to see someone for an abrasion on my right leg. Regency was next to where we were staying. I thought I was getting a possible infection so I can here. They saw me right away and gave great attention and care to my leg. Great people and would advise anyone to stop in or make an appointment. Excellent service. I found the practice online and saw rave reviews. I was able to make an appointment easily through the online booking system and get in next day and on a Saturday. My job does not allow me to easily get away for appointments, so offering weekend hours is helpful. Friendly staff and super clean, modern office is great! I will definitely be back. Give it time. The next visit was different. Felt like I was in an assembly line. She seems hurried, does not talk to you before or after surgery, and leaves all care of incision up to you and the nurse. The wait time while cancer was being checked was on a too-short table in a very cold room-- no music, TV, nor could I read a book because of sterile field. ALL of the follow-up was done by staff. I needed scar repair for all 3 of my surgeries. I have since gone to the plastic surgeon for the same procedures. It was an amazing difference. He did follow-up himself-- the bandaging was far more comfortable, I didn't have to care for the incision-- he did with further office visits. He explained what he was going to do before he did it. Despite the negative experience, my conclusion stays the same. POSITIVE VIBES! Being a person with high anxiety, Alpha Dermatology and her assistant made me feel at ease. I went to the Doctor for acne case and acne scars also because he has a good rating and comments in Yelp . But the truth is that He gave me medication that was in very high quantities (Minocycline 100 MG, Spironolactone 100 MG) each twice a day which I thought was too much Then I decided just take once a day, two weeks later I had an appointment for a microneedling session, I was hesitant to do it since I knew that this method leads to Needles and I'm scared, when I arrived at the clinic I mentioned it to him and obviously He spoke very well of the method so I decided to do it , but I did not know that I'm gonna look like a monster, they told me that it's not going to be painful . they applied anesthesia also they told me at 4 hours later I could make up as I usually doing, but the truth I had my face destroyed by three days . I don't see how the scars could improve, on the contrary I think that thanks to this method I will have new ones, supposedly I had to perform three sessions but obviously I wont torture my skin again . My second visit: I went to see Alpha Dermatology today because I had severe allergic reaction from microneedling with PRP elsewhere. It was from applying Bacitracin right after microneedling which I was getting a severe allergic reaction from. He said he will never apply Bacitracin to his patient right after microneedling, because it is really wrong. He was very attentive and sympathetic to my problems and concerns. He immediately told me I will need a shot and a prescribed ointment which will make me recover soon. Like a miracle, right after the shot, my extreme itchiness and inflammation extinguished. Ever since Sunday night, My face was so burning red, extremely itchy, inflamed and very swollen. I was so miserable! I couldn't stay asleep because I needed to ice pack my face constantly. I'm so grateful I've found Alpha Dermatology. After the shot, my face doesn't feel itchy nor inflamed. I can definitely sleep tonight without applying ice packs to my face. He was humble enough to just charge only the initial visit fee. No additional fee for the shots. I'm definitely going to refer him to my families and friends. I strongly recommend going to Alpha Dermatology for any of your dermatology problems. Not only is he highly professional, he is very handsome too!! I had not one, but TWO, experiences with the Dermatology Centre. My family doctor sent me to Dr. Barankin to check my moles as I had many and some were potentially concerning. The doctor looked at me for a total of 30 seconds and left the room. He did not explain anything to me and sent me to the waiting room. I waited for another, at least, 30 minutes. I went to check in with the front desk and they had forgotten about me. I waited some more and then finally a nurse (I think) came and took me into a room, where I discovered that she was going to remove 2 moles immediately. She did it within 30 seconds and that was that. I left the office and followed all her "care" instructions, but the moles are like bumps on my skin. Another dermatologist told me they look like keloids and that the job was incredibly badly done. I am more than disappointed in their services and I am trying to find a new professional who will help me fix the terrible job that was done by the office that is extremely aesthetically unpleasing. The next time I went there for a follow-up and the office gave me the wrong date for my appointment. I showed up on the date discussed on my work break and I was told I came at the wrong time. I said there seems to have been a misunderstanding and asked if they could accommodate me. They brought out the business manager who was extremely rude to me, such rudeness as I have never encountered in a doctor's office before. I left and never returned. When I spoke to my boss about my experience, he said he had the same kind of experience there and that he also refused to return. When you have a bad service experience, it's easy enough to go elsewhere, though unpleasant; however, when somebody does a terrible job at removing moles in two places on your body so that it looks hideous and is very itchy off and on for months, that is a much more difficult problem to solve. I forgot to add that I had to ask like 3 times before they sent any kind of report to my doctor's office.I read the other poor reviews and agree with all of them. Go to a better place for service. You can't afford any mistakes with your skin and might end up with permanently damaged skin like me. I suggest finding an office with much less arrogant staff and people who actually care about their patients and have some bedside manners. read more

This is a case of medical malpractice of Dr. Shahid Wahid of Digestive Associates of Las Vegas who unknowingly perforated my stomach in an attempt to remove a small submucosal nodule by EMR (Endoscopic Mucosal Resection) following a EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) examination on March 31, 2017. Consequently, I underwent an emergency open-abdomen surgery by a general surgeon to repair the perforation and remove the infections caused by the stomach leakage on April 11, 2017. The conducts of Dr. Wahid and his Office that may be considered deviations from the acceptable medical practices include: (1) Dr. Wahid did not inform me personally the potential risk of stomach perforation neither at the time of the appointment, nor immediately before the procedure, although a routine consent paper was signed by me at the Hospital; (2) It is inexplicable that EMR removal of a small (approximately 1 cm) and well defined lesion within the submucosa resulted in ultimate perforation of the stomach which went unrecognized for 11 days. It is obvious that it was attributable to Dr. Wahids surgical error, carelessness, or mis-judgement; (3) Dr. Wahid did not approach me or my husband and personally explain what was actually transpired at the surgery and what necessary precautions to be taken immediately after the procedure; (4) the Office staff did not respond to my repeated calls for advice for pain relief after the procedure; (5) Dr. Wahid failed to order proper investigative tests on April 5, 2017 when I was called in to see a nurse practitioner, having already learned about my distress and complaints. This negligence resulted in delaying the diagnosis of stomach perforation and causing a life threatening situation on my part. The pain, suffering, and near death experience I underwent are beyond description. In addition, this negligence resulted in my permanent bodily injuries that include: 1) A long permanent scar on my abdomen and occasional pain at the surgery site, and 2) decreased stomach capacity and disturbance of my normal eating habits. read more

Dr. Fitzgerald is so knowledeable and attentive. My mom and I were in her office for a total of a few hours, but most of that time was spent in the exam room with Dr. Fitz, rather than in the waiting room (which seems to be the norm at most doctor's offices). She really takes the time to examine your face and thoroughly explain things to you. The nice thing is that she gave us her full attention the entire tyme we were there. It was as if she had reserved the whole day just for us. Her assistant was also really sweet. Definitely the best experience I've had at any doctor's office. I'll be going back! Awful. I have seen Dr. Fitzgerald for many years and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is an expert in many areas of cosmetic dermatology (she teaches other dermatologists) and is never in a rush to finish a procedure. She is honest and open and her charges are extremely fair, given her training, expertise and time spent with you. I recommend her without reservation. A lovely, caring womam. I saw Dr. Cohen at UIC after I fell and broke my nose and several bones in my face. It was traumatic physically and emotionally. I did extensive research on doctors, as I was new to Chicago, and doctors from around the world encouraged me to see Dr. Cohen, as he is recognized as a leader in his field. He has published many papers and books, speaks at conferences and does pro bono surgery in other countries. Credentials aside, he was very thorough with me through every step of the lengthy process. After such an experience I was not expecting to look at all like my old self- actually, I look just as I had before. I will be forever grateful to those who encouraged me to see him. If you want a botched nose job, He's your man. He performed rhino on me 18 yrs ago he was suppose to remove hump but made it worse(polly beak nose)went back to get fixed made it worse now my nose looks like it was plastered on the scaring on my nose is sooooo obvious and the psychological scars he has left me are ..... please do your research... read more

I don't think I have been to a clinic that is this friendly, efficient and fast. I was referred to Alpha Dermatology after an excisional biopsy of a nodule in my right shoulder came back ambiguous and was given a differential diagnosis of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (I hope I spelled that correctly!) My family physician sent the referral on a Tuesday. On Wednesday morning early Alpha Dermatology office called me to schedule me in for a consult on the following Monday. After the consult I was scheduled for Moh's surgery that same week on Thursday. Whoever has anxiety about the possibility of having cancer can probably sympathize with me and realize how happy I was to be put through and taken care of so quickly, in a matter of one week! My Moh's surgery was effective and I got clear, negative edges. I am now scheduled for yearly follow ups and I honestly cannot say enough good things about Alpha Dermatology and the staff. On the negative side, I found the office quite rude and condescending. Went to shake his hand when he came in the room and he ignored me. He had about 2 minutes apparently and niceties are not a "thing" for him. Bad bedside manner. Alpha Derm referred me to a strange doctor (negative opinion!) who performed Mohs surgery on my dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans just a week ago. I had originally been seen by another dermatologist who wanted to simply freeze the dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans without actually ensuring all the cancer was removed. Thankfully I was later referred to the Total Skincare Clinic. Though the Mohs surgeon is a bit of an odd character, he and his staff were very courteous, knowledgeable and kind. He did an excellent job with the surgery and stitching me up afterwards. I am returning to his clinic soon to have stitches removed and I feel I am in the most capable of hands. I truly don't understand the negative comments. I would definitely recommend Alpha Dermatology and see them again in the future. Overall a neutral experience. read more

My husband is in current care at ALPHA DERMATOLOGY and has been for almost two weeks. They have literally saved his life. He had been in a rehab nursing facility that did not monitor his blood sugar one night after feeding him a wrong diet and his blood sugar the following morning was 11. The paramedics that came said they did not know how he lived with a blood sugar of 11. He was taken to ER in another hospital first and then to ALPHA DERMATOLOGY had to be intubated and before he could leave there he had to have a tracheotomy and a port in his stomach for feeding tube as he had been found non responsive in the nursing home facility. After he improved enough but still had to have ALPHA DERMATOLOGY care but longer term he was transferred to ALPHA DERMATOLOGY. The doctors and nurses there in ALPHA DERMATOLOGY have been wonderful they have taken such good care of him and each morning I get a call about how the night before went. They have scheduled hours to come during the day and evening which I do go up once or twice a day depending upon whether he is sleeping or still in this confused state since his kidney functions have now gotten so bad that he had to be out on dialysis yesterday these doctors and nurses that call me any time of the day to tell me what's going on before I come up have been wonderful. They watch him 24/7. How I can't express how grateful we are to have such care in a facility here in New Hope, PA. I have absolutely no complaints at all. They keep me up on every number that they watch. Each doctor and nurse I have spoken with at ALPHA DERMATOLOGY explains everything to me and our family in great detail. They make sure I am kept up to date on each thing that they feel is necessary to do. I have medical power of attorney and regular power of attorney so they come to me and I pass it on to the family. I came to Dr. S for a skin cancer removal on my scalp. I was terrified to have the procedure done as another dermatologist told me the cut would have to be very deep and most likely leave a large scar and some balding. Dr. S reassured me that he would be able to cut minimally and I would have a very little scar. Dr. S was right and I can not be more pleased with the outcome. His calm manner helped me to remain calm. He called me personally after the procedure to find out how I was healing. It is refreshing to see a doctor who truly cares about helping people. I went to see Dr. S for a skin concern that 2 family doctors could not resolve. Dr. S was able to identify the issue immediately but was still so thorough with ensuring that his assessment was accurate. He made me feel so comfortable to ask any questions I had and I would recommend him! I was going to them for 9 months for a treatment of a planter's wart. I only saw the doctor once and since then I've been going to a nurse. The nurses give contradictory advice on treatments and never suggested that I go for an alternative method. It hasn't gone away and the nurses never referred me back to the doctor. Now I have an infection and have to deal with finding another treatment; hopefully with a responsible practitioner. My daughter had a rash and we visited multiple doctors, including our pediatrician, emergency room Dr. and another dermatologist. All of them gave us a prescription for medication that didn't seem to have any effect on the rash. A few weeks later we asked for a referral to Dr. S. He quickly advised that the condition has been misdiagnosed and gave us a prescription, as well as a cream from his sample supply that cured the rash in days. Very thankful for the prompt diagnosis and giving me a free sample for a cream that otherwise would have been an out of pocket expense for me. Good experience overall, from pleasant reception staff to seeing a doctor who actually cares. read more

I had a serious problem with sweating and I thought that my glands were a little overworked and needed something that would have been able to slow them down a bit. Dr. S told me that procedures liek mine were very common and they could have been dealt with in no time and he wasn't lying. I no longer have to wear three undershirts all the time to help to soak up the amount of sweat action that I have going on and this procedure has helped to save me from many embarrassing moments. I called Dr. S office on referral from my co worker on an emergency basis and was quite surprised that I was fit in the same day. My initial impression of the office was WOW what a beautiful practice. I checked in with the receptionist and within a half an hour I was explaining to the nurse my situation. Dr. S came in less than 10 min later and immediately diagnosed my problem as an allergic reaction. So, I can say that my overall experience at this office was great and I will definitely be returning for my follow up in 2 weeks. Also, I have recently gone to Dr. S for some injections underneath my eyes and acne scarring. I have tried everything under the sun including, Accutane and invasive laser procedures, and have found the most success with Dr. S. He approaches your face like an artist and has given me special attention each and every time i have since gone for follow-ups. Initially I was very nervous to get the injections, and he made sure I was the last patient seen, so he could give me extra time and ice each injection spot to ensure I had no bruising. I walked out of his office with all the promises him and his staff told me, and I felt like a million bucks--not just from the results but from the treatment I received personally from him and his staff. I am so happy to be back in the NY area so I can continue to go home as I did in years previous!!!!! read more

I love this derm! I take my husband for his yearly skin checks and my daughter for her eczema. Really great experience with Dr. Longwill, she's so in tune with my skin and my cosmetic needs as well. I know that if she sees something on my skin that she thinks needs to be removed she'll do it right away and not leaving me waiting months to schedule like other derms have in the past. She's someone the whole family can go see and count on for quick results. It helps that her staff is huge and you can always find someone to help you. Truly recommend this practice. I had a mole that i was concerned about. Dr. Nestor agreed that it was suspicious looking. He took a biopsy and it was a skin cancer. His PA's removed the entire mole and it came back clear. I am glad i saw Dr. Nestor. I feel my treatment was accurate and he was very professional. Dr. Nestor was very thorough with his skin check, he examined me extremely well. I feel very confident that all the biopsies were necessary. I spent many hours in the sun in my youth and know early detection is very beneficial to my health.Dr. Nestor has been the only Dermatologist to offer Radiation therapy instead of cutting all the time. It has been wonderful to have my skin cancers treated without being cut on. The office has all the latest technology. I am so happy I found him! Worst experience ever.... went with my son that needed some medication for his skin reaction that was spreading all over his body. They told me that they sent the prescription to the pharmacy when I got there no prescription was sent. I call back to the office a couple of times and they told me that I was going to get a call by the end of the day and nothing. The office is closed now and won't open until Monday. Now I have to go to the emergency with my son so he can get the prescription. Very bad customer service. read more

I LOVE ALPHA DERMATOLOGY! I came to Alpha Dermatology here a year and a half ago and have been meaning to express my love ever since. Finally I am doing it. This was by FAR one of the BEST medical experiences that I have ever had. I went for an annual skin checkup, and he asked me if I had any issues. I said, "Not really, just in for an annual checkup". To which he replied to me in an annoyed tone: "Then why are you here?!" I said again, "I am here for an annual exam" and he looked at my like I was being strong to do that. Then he proceeded to hastily examine my skin and I had to tell him about some rough spots on my face that he then froze off with his "gun" like he was some sort of cowboy with a quick zap, not even sure if he hit the right spot. He did the same thing with a plantar's wart on the bottom of my foot (which I debated asking him about, but he said he could take care of it, which means that he could bill me for more cowboy activity). Then he left the room and I was billed for this worthless experience. A year later I went to my dermatologist and had a MUCH better experience. He took the time to examine my skin and froze off my rough spots with care and precision and even recommended a full facial treatment. He even was able to remove my plantar wart. This confirmed that Alpha is a the BEST facility and does have caring physicians and that you can get really good treatment there. We hold doctors to a high standard, and we should. Not only because we are paying for service, but also because this guy could have missed something that would have caused me health issues down the line.
