Came in to get my SDG&E social and ID confirmation (the thing that takes two seconds for them to do) and the FOUR people working in there (with the doors wide open in the middle of the day on a Monday btw) acted like I just cursed them out when I asked if I was at the right place and if anyone could help me out. The first two people ignored me for a solid 2 minutes hoping I would go away I suppose, and then the other lady told me the guy would be "out in five minutes". Ok sounds good, I wait five minutes. The man himself comes out and says he needs to eat, so it will be ANOTHER five minutes. That is where I had to stand up for myself and tell them that they told me that same thing five minutes prior, after which he magically had the time to help me out. What should have taken five minutes took twenty due to these people being lazy and rude. Not to mention that the store itself was FILTHY. They then decided to have some guy around my age (22) come out and stand in front of me with his arms crossed as if this was supposed to intimidate me. The result of taking a long break from Lunar New Year was a long line of customers out the door waiting to get their service taken care of, I couldn't blame them, but I heard the place was busy a week prior to Lunar New Year. Also when I came inside I noticed of some remodeling, no more shelves of snacks or chips, the hair salon booth still at the same corner, and now they focusing mainly on international shipping service, especially Vietnam. The price for sending $100 to Vietnam has gone up from $1 to $2 fees. Doesn't matter where it will be send to. This place commits fraud. I was notified via email that a subscription for $100 was about to ship from an online vitamin store I have an account with. I did not make any orders and on logging in and checking, the purchase was to be shipped to the address of Alpha Mini Mart. This is a money laundering operation who steals peoples login credentials and makes fraudulent purchases that they then sell. This is an almost "Do It All" one stop shop. They offer a lot of services. 1. It's a mini mart. You can buy snacks, drinks, cigarettes, lottery tickets, and laundry stuff (duh, because there's a laundromat next door) 2. They offer key cutting services. You can get a key cut for your house or your car. Any car without a chip in the key, im assuming? 3. They offer shipping services to Vietnam. and yes, only to Vietnam only, for us fellow vietnamese people who live in the area. 4. They now also have a barber section, come get your hair cuts! 5. Ghetto-fabulous! Great big giant convenience store located between Fairmont Ave. and Euclid along El Cajon Blvd. They got it all in here. And guess what? A T & T told me today, it is a fee-free A T & T payment center! So for those who don't pay their bills on line, this is the go-to place to keep your phone line in line. I would love to give this place a negative star if Yelp has it. The service is bad, the owner so rude like he don't give a care about the customers. He has a blunt language like I'm the owner of this store and I'm so freaking proud about it, I don't care about you! Also, this place is very...very FILTHY like it hasn't been cleaning for many decade. During this Covid-19, any place like this should be avoided because you could get infected easily. Then about the package when I sent to Vietnam, (Hoa Phat and Le Gui Tien Nhanh kept your packages unopened) but Alpha Market allowed guys from Vietnam to open and messing with your packages. I sent Samsung Tab S6 to Saigon and the tablet was powered up even though I had it turned off went I placed it in the shipping box. The tablet battery was down to 1% (I charged it 100% full) and the screen so smeared up like someone was trying to get the tablet unlocked. Fortunately I had set the pass code before I sent it. This event was happened months ago, I tried to posted this on Yelp but somehow it's unposted. Too bad! Now I try again...
