I went in there one time before and the only issue that I had was the lady preaching about it not being safe to use the NFC option for the card reader. Today I went in there and the big dude with the beard and my seven--year-olds were chatting as my seven--year-olds were talking about how he looked like Santa and he was entertaining the idea. Then I handed my 11-year-old eight boxes of .22 long rifle at $6.50 a piece and the guy with the beard immediately stated that it is a felony for him to even hold the boxes so I took the boxes back and as we were leaving and putting the boxes back on the shelf I told him that's not true and we left. The wife followed us around the entire shop, like we're going to steal something. My buddy asked if they had a specific Glock, and she replied that they're crap guns and they don't carry crap guns. It made for an awkward interaction. Then, the husband was getting bent out of shape and nervous while we were handling the rifles. Just a really odd experience. They seemed very "we stay off the grid" and "don't touch our stuff unless we give you permission." I won't be going back. read more

Screw this place! So incredibly rude and unprofessional it makes my teeth hurt! I wrote a review on their second account here so I won't go into all the details again. The gunsmith, the bearded asshole, insulted me multiple times and wagged his finger at me when I said I didn't want him doing my repairs due to his attitude. I was happy to lose my $25 deposit when I took my gun back from these pieces of work. Absolutely disgusted with this customer service. This business has not one shred of professional behavior. The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because I can't give it negative 10 stars. Absolutely the WORST gun store... EVER! I was followed through the store and watched like a criminal. I finally asked, "Am I doing something wrong?" The employee said, "Not yet." When I asked about a particular firearm, the owner said I didn't know what I was talking about. I even pointed out what I was talking about on the manufacturers website. He then said THEY didn't know what they were talking about. I lived in the Owyhee for quite a while. Finally made it by this shop just to check it out. The first thing that I noticed was the prices. Exorbitantly and unjustifiably overpriced! Rifles that everyone else sells for $x were priced X + $100 (at least 100 over, in many instances far more). This was a constant, whether the value was $700 or $1700. The other thing, as others have mentioned, was that I was followed around like some sort of shifty shoplifter....lol.... I'm 60, professional, ex-military, sharply dressed and driving a 1-year-old $50,000.00 truck. These people are just strange. I think the whole "armageddon" state of mind thing has overtaken what common sense they might have once had. They are certainly hoarding their guns, because at their prices I doubt they sell many at all. For about a week I've been looking for a comfortable appendix holster. So I decided I'd go look at Armageddon, I brought my pistol along with and had the mag out and slide open and as I get to the door I noticed that it asks for an employee to safety check the firearm. So I notified them immediately , I was told to wait out front and a bigger guy with a beard came out and told me to take it back to my car. The very rude employee or owner told me I was lucky I didn't get shot and since I had my child with me that I was committing "child abuse". I've never been treated so poorly or accused of child abuse for following instructions. Was recommend a part for a glock 17. Was assured that it would fit but when I got home to put it on the holes didn't line up. I tried coming back to exchange it for something cheaper but they wouldn't make it right. I took the word of their staff only to wast $200 on a part and now they won't make it right. I would not recommend this store. From when I bought it to when I tried to return it was 30 minutes. It was kind of like finding a well hidden secret/army surplus that had all the good stuff! I found things I'd been looking for for a while like a mag for my Romanian 7.62x25. So the store is overwhelming and pack with stuff. I've been a few time and had good experiences. It all changed once I bought a hand gun from them! I bought a 600.00 gun and got it home and found a blemish from the manufacture and immediately called Armageddon. They told me to bring it back so they could look at it......after they looked at it they said yeah the manufacture won't do anything about it. No call nothing! Bottom line is they tell you they stand for what's right in the world but will do nothing to help you after the sale. Buyer beware! My son bought a gun from this guy that kept jamming within 20 rounds, we took it back and he stated that the problem was the gun was too tight and my sons Federal brand ammo was bad ammo. The second time we brought the gun in, after a jam within another 20 rounds, he said the gun had not been properly maintained, when we said we wanted our money back he would give only give us back 3/4 of what we paid. This guy and this business is a ripoff in our opinion and you should do everything possible to avoid business with them. This was my first time going to the gun shop. My boyfriend and his son go in there a lot and he has purchased probably 4 firearms from them. The lady there is very knowledgeable concerning the guns they have there, very impressive. What I was not impressed about is the gentleman, and I use that very loosely, with the long beard. He was very ignorant to my boyfriend from the beginning. He had decided on a handgun that the wanted and started filling out the paperwork that the lady gave him. The bearded guy came over and said that he was supposed to print the information. My boyfriend said that he was printing and the other guy argued that it was cursive and said it should be "block letters". Well the lady said that she had never mentioned that it needed to be "block letters". The guy didn't apologize. He just told her that she needed to follow policy. Well my boyfriend said that he had always filled out their paperwork the same way. About 10 minutes later a "20 something" young man came in and the bearded guy told him that he needed to go back out and brush off. We thought, including the young man, that he was kidding because neither of us understood what he was talking about. He told him again that he needed to go back outside and brush off. The young man said that the didn't understand what he meant. The bearded guy proceeded to scream at him "GET OUT OF THE STORE!" The guy turned around and the bearded guy followed him out and had a "chat" with him just outside by the door. He ended up coming back in anyway. If that had been me, I would have just walked right back to my vehicle. If my boyfriend wasn't purchasing a gun at that time, I would have left myself. Sorry this is so long, but the whole encounter was very disturbing. Apparently, there have been a lot of people with experiences similar to this one concerning the very rude "bearded" man on Google reviews. They tout being a Christian establishment. I bought a brand new Charter Arms .38 revolver from this place. I took it out to shoot it the same day. It was broken. I took it back the same day I bought it. They would not give me a refund, or buy it back. I had to mail it to the manufacturer to get it repaired or replaced. Also found out that while the revolver was new, it was actually 5 or 6 years old. They sold me a lemon, and knew it. Then they were hostile to me. Do not buy anything from this place. There are plenty of other good gun stores in the area. read more

Terrible customer service. I dropped off my hunting rifle for some trigger work to be done on a Saturday (I too was closely watched as I browsed the store) Later in the week I called to get an estimate on when it would be done. I was told it would "hopefully be done by the end of the week." Saturday came around once again, I called and asked if it was still on track to be done by today. Was told by the gunsmith that "we don't give estimates" and that "every time you call it takes away from me working on the guns." No duh sir, but in my opinion it's very un professional to not give somewhat of an estimate on when a service would be complete. A true professional knows how long each job they have lined up takes and is transparent with their customers. To be completely honest I feel as though since my job was somewhat simple and cheap that I was not prioritized. Like most people, I don't have endless time to wait for my gun to be worked on. So I went down and picked my gun up before It was even worked on. Lost my $25 deposit but have never been happier to get my gun back. I will absolutely not be going back. read more
