His treatments helped and anyone would be lucky to be his patient. I know some current patients feel abandoned, but he didn't just up and leave. He was faced with a very sudden, debilitating illness that left him unable to properly refer patients. I know he intends to come back as soon as he's physically able and I hope all his patients are willing to offer him the same patience and compassion for his illness that he always showed with ours. She didn't start my son on the starting dose of Prozac and he got very sick from it. There is a major drug interaction between Cymbalta and Prozac. Our primary doctor and pharmacist were shocked when they heard that she prescribed these two medication together and recommended against taking them together. Since Dr. Thomas came highly recommended, my son did as he was told. Today he saw a psychiatrist and she was shocked that he was on these two medications and immediately told him that there are life threatening side effects. He is stopping the Prozac immediately. If you care about your life, don't go to this doctor. She is a strange one on top of all of this. She seems very medicated herself.

I won't waste time to go on how unbelievably sh*tty the psychiatrists around are, let's just say it's no wonder so many people out there are so fu*ked up.. it's because of all these dumb doctors who went through all their years of training to waste your time and money. Dr. Jamal is professional, easy going, patient and asked all the right questions. He has a list of questions that he will go over with you to make sure if there was any problems other than what you think you have. He's familiar with what type of medication to prescribe for you depending on what insurance you have (as long as it's not some no name brand insurance). He will also answer any questions you have and is very patient. If given the chance Dr. Jamal would make a great friend, I'm sure. The only downside to seeing Dr. Jamal is that he doesn't accept insurance (but you can always ask your insurance for reimbursement, depending on your insurance) and it can be costly the first couple of times.
