Would give negative stars if I could. Damaged my car when dropping off and refused to give me insurance information or pay to fix it, even though i have photo and video evidence. I double checked and they don't have insurance anymore and the manager and owner could not be more disrespectful arguing and yelling at me every step of the way, acting like this is my fault. On top of that even when picking up my car during the night they had some sort of "mechanical issue" and delivered it the next day with very little communication. I wouldn't recommend using their services unless you want your car damaged. I get that the towing company itself isn't at fault for towing my car. But when I got my car, my brakes were screwed up as well as my airbags. THEY ALSO HEAVILY SCRATCHED OUR BMW. We paid $450 ish to get our car back, so it would have been nice if we got it back unscratched.. They claimed the scratch was there before our car got towed, but I assure you it wasn't. I would notice a huge scratch like that on my front bumper. Also, we called the owner (because the worker said he's the one that towed our car) to ask about what happened to our car, and HE WAS SO RUDE.... This happened on Saturday, and I am STILL infuriated by his attitude -- he was raising his voice over the phone. I just didn't want to ruin my vacation by dealing with this the time of. We asked him to come take a look at our car, and he proceeds to yell about how it's not him and tells us he can't come right now. He tells us to wait until he's done running his errands. We went to a nearby bmw dealership and the guys there told us the scratch was fresh and insisted we go back and let them know. As a services-providing company, they were unprofessional and rude. Yesterday I had the bad day of having my clutch burn out dead, with just enough time to roll to a stop on a hill in Daly City, and unable to move under its own power. Not only did Victor, our driver, perfectly snake by the other parked cars to get me outta there but he did it quickly and with style. Reversing a tow hook isn't easy as is, and he got us rolling back to the east bay in ten minutes or less from when he showed up to grab my stranded car. That's right, trans bay. Short and sweet. Just like my visit with the tow truck guy who picked up my car and towed it to the auto repair shop. My insurance policy covered towing at no cost to me so they sent Alpha Towing. Originally they notified me the truck would be coming by 1pm. Unfortunately, the guy was almost 1 hour late. I called the central office when it had been 15-20 minutes past the ETA. The woman told me "they're coming from Serramonte, so it'll be a while." What does that mean? Serramonte Mall? There is no city called Serramonte....so I had no choice but to wait. And wait. And wait. Finally the guy shows up, he's very nice and works fast so I was able to dismiss the tardiness. My car made it to the shop about 15 minutes later and the process was quite seamless. read more

Arrived minutes before their ETA, got the car jacked up, tire changed, wore a mask, was really nice -- what more can you ask for! All that after I popped a tire, bent the cheap jack that came with the car, dropped the car and then gave up but was happy to be alive. My car's transmission died which necessitated a tow, so I called Allstate Roadside Assistance and they sent out these guys. Prior to towing my car, the driver stood by the side of the truck and took a whiz. Then he made me reverse my own car onto the bed of the truck. Once we finally got in the truck, he asked me if I minded if he smoked pot while we drove. He had absolutely no idea where he was going and I had to keep giving him directions. Once we FINALLY got to my destination, he kept driving around and around looking for somewhere to get diesel (fair enough if the truck's low on fuel but either fill up before or after). He kept taking wrong turns and running red lights, and at one point he started driving up the wrong side of the road before I told him. Not a good experience at ALL. read more

Called for them to tow my car to a shop to get 2 flat tires fixed (aka I can't drive at all because the tires were almost off the rims at this point). First the driver tells me to drive about 1/4 mile to where he parked because he couldn't get his truck up there (I got towed there... How else did it get up a hill in sf?) then when I told him this, he sat in his truck for 20 minutes on the phone with his boss. When I asked for his company's number, he left. Yes, the tow truck driver took off and left me with my flat tired car. Then, when I did call the company the dispatcher told me it was my fault and called me a *?cking *!tch.
