I am incredibly grateful to Bob and Atlantis Towing. My Tesla got 2 flats hitting a pothole on a busy road. Bob arrived promptly and helped me navigate getting the car to the Tesla service center. When we arrived, it was not clear where to drop off the car at the designated location. Many drivers would drop the car and call it good at this point, but not Bob. Bob stayed with me, was kind and patient while I received horrendous service from Tesla, gave helpful recommendations, and provided a pen and paper for me to leave a note to Tesla on the dashboard explaining what had happened. After all this, he waited with me to make sure my Uber picked me up safely. He communicated with his next pickup kindly to inform them that he was delayed as well, which was wonderful service and expectation setting. My gas cap wouldn't come off and then my car wouldn't turn over. It made a sad clack clack clack and then ...nothin'. AAA erroneously sent a repair vehicle to another 76 station clear across town. Catching the error I hurriedly called Atlantis Towing & Road Service from the confirmation they'd texted me. Atlantis dispatch speedily rerouted the driver, smoothed my last shredded nerve and had the driver to us in 12 minutes (did he fold the map??) I popped the hood and Bob C (#2301) took a listen and brought out jumper cables. He unstuck my gas cap and waited until I filled up to be certain my car would restart. You know those everyday heroes? Yep, Atlantis Towing/Road Service is one of them and so polite and professional, too. I'm saving Atlantis' number in my contact list; this 15 year-old BMW is getting testy and I may need them again. as a contractor for AAA you'd think you can rely on this service. Tuesday afternoon i got a new 12v car battery. everything was fine. the service guy was nice, though lax...i didn't realize how lax.... saturday am, with a full day of errands and appointments, i go to my car in the am and it's completely dead. FOUR days after getting a new battery. ensue battling with AAA, waiting for three hours for another service person ... he tells me that atlantis installed a bad battery. how did he know? he tested it! something the first guy was SUPPOSED to do before he left. he did not. he also left trash (the atlantis - first guy) in front of my car in my garage that wasn't noticed until i needed the second new battery. i was forced, by this lack of professionalism, to take taxi's and other public transportation to get a few things done...and then i was captive waiting on a busy saturday for a replacement of the bad replacement. the service tech is SUPPOSED to ask for my ID and my AAA card. that didn't happen. the tech was SUPPOSED to give me a good battery and test that after installation. that didn't happen. I will let AAA know in the future that i will not accept atlantis towing as an option. i hate to write this, because everyone there, including the tech, that i dealt with was so very nice. but i'm not paying for nice. i'm paying for service, an that was lacking and caused a domino effect. read more

I had a flat tire and called AAA for a flat bed tow truck. Atlantis Tow responded but said it would be 2 hours. Received a text from Atlantic two hours later saying their driver would be arriving. 30 min later still no tow truck. I called them and texted them. No response by phone or text. They never showed up. Left me standing for four hours. If I could give less than a one star I would. Completely unacceptable. Just a phone call telling me they wouldn't be sending a tow truck would have saved me four hours of standing in the street waiting for the tow truck they promised. read more

I had a completely flat tire on my electric car, and Triple A sent Bob of Atlantis Towing. He was very careful not to damage the car as he was getting it hitched using pieces of wood to level the car. I enjoyed chatting with him in his truck taking my mind off the unfortunate incident. Once we got to the auto shop, and I was in line he came over to say goodbye before taking off, a little gesture, but I appreciated it since I wanted to thank him. I got into a serious accident and my precious baby was totaled. The driver (I wish I could remember his name!) was there quickly. My car wouldn't go onto the truck bed and instead of giving up, he got his colleague to come out and help him. He was very nice, made sure I had his card, and took the time to explain to me what the next steps would be. Me and my car have been together almost 13 years and I was having a hard time saying goodbye. I asked Mike if I could spend some time with her and he readily agreed. I was in my car for about an hour. Mike would check on me periodically to make sure I was okay (I had some sore muscles and bones so I was moving slowly and sounded like I was in pain, which I was!) but he never rushed me or told me I had to leave. After I said my goodbyes to my car, Mike and I talked for a long time while he periodically checked for new orders and fielded a few calls. By the time I left, I felt about as good as I was going to feel over my loss because he took the time to listen and respond nicely instead of telling me I was a crazy person for crying over a car! :-D read more

GELMER!! What an angel! Before calling Atlantis through my triple A network, I had tried two jumps, went and bought a new battery had it placed and still nothing! I wanted to get it out myself because I was on the top floor (floor 6) of a parking garage- stuck! I finally decided to get it towed. Gelmer came to the entrance and I drove up with him to show him my car...he immediately knew which height to lower his truck/ equipment to in order to get into the garage clearance and up all of the ramps! Before just towing my truck, he tried several things to help me start it! He went above and beyond checking my Prius front and back battery, did a fuse check on my front battery, ended up getting me prepped for a tow...my car was locked so no neutral, he pulled it out with his truck and realigned it so it could be hooked up properly and straight for the exit. He was so careful with the car and cautious about me standing in a safe place. He ended up gently parking my car across from Toyota (they were closed) a perfect parallel spot AND all of this time with a GREAT ATTITUDE!!! Then he gave me a ride back into town. i got into an accident and my car got towed to this lot. i called the next day to ask if they could hold some items for me to pick up at a later time since my car was getting transported to another lot in the east bay. the guy(mike i think) graciously agreed. it wasn't until almost a month later(due to my sheer laziness) that i got around to calling them to schedule a time to retrieve my things. i got there and mike was nothing but nice. he asked how i was doing after the accident, whether i was injured. then he led me to his personal car...turns out he had put all my shi* in his trunk, his own trunk! who does that? i couldn't thank him enough. mike, if you read this, i wanna say thanks again. you're awesome! read more
