Unfortunately, the first pullover started developing pulls almost immediately. One particularly long pull in the front snagged on something as minor as my cuticle--something that shouldn't even be possible. I also noticed additional pulls on the back, even though I had been careful with it. When I went into the store to discuss the issue, an employee was empathetic and directed me to the manager. However, the manager--a brunette helping a customer with ski goggles--was completely dismissive. When I explained the situation, she responded with, "Oh, it must have pulled on something." I acknowledged that it caught on my nail, but I was shocked that such an expensive pullover would be so fragile. Rather than offering any assistance or even engaging in a conversation about product quality, she quickly shut it down, saying they couldn't do anything since I had already had it for a few days. For a store selling high-end outdoor gear, I expected better durability and customer support. Spending around $130, I at least hoped for a discussion about quality assurance or a possible exchange. Instead, I was met with indifference. It felt like they cater more to tourists passing through than to customers who actually care about their purchases. If you're looking for durable gear from a store that stands behind its products, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

When I picked up the board, they had not only performed the previously discussed repairs, but they also did a bunch of p-tex work on the base and a wax, and still charged me the previously agreed upon price. I'll definitely be back here next time I need tuning work done.

The owner has done a FANTASTIC job at bringing in styles that are wearable instead of just novelty western pieces, which is what is most often found in these types of towns. While she does throw her own little bit of western flair in there, the store is very modern. There are great yoga pieces, work appropriate pieces, and a great spread of other fashionable items. This is sure to be one of the most popular shopping spots in Big Sky.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had…read more I am a repeat customer, which made this experience even more shocking. We wanted to cancel our fly fishing trip because of bad weather (rain and snow), and the conditions were not what we had expected for a fishing trip. I called with more than 24 hours' notice, yet the owner insisted on charging a $500 cancellation fee. When I tried to have a respectful conversation and ask if there was any flexibility, especially as a returning customer, the owner became angry, started yelling, and actually told me to "suck it." I have never had a business owner speak to me that way. Having a strict cancellation policy is one thing. Treating customers with complete disrespect is another. The owner's behavior was rude, immature, and completely unprofessional. No customer deserves to be yelled at or insulted for asking a reasonable question. There are plenty of fly fishing outfitters that value their customers and know how to communicate professionally. Based on this experience, I CANNOT recommend this company and will never book with them again. Proceed with caution!!

Like this guide taught my youngest how to fly fish when he was little. We originally was going to go with Wild Trout Outfitters a few doors down but they were so rude that we left. This is a great high-end knife shop, appropriate for Big Sky, that sells knives handmade in Idaho…read more While my teenage son and I were looking, we were offered to throw some axes which we did. In addition to the ax, throwing and high-end knives, they carry moderately priced, mass-produced knives as well. I would say that one of the best things about the shop, however are the fine Swedish axes, the custom, American forged axes, the various buffalo robe, mountain man, and other high-end versions of rustic and traditional western clothing and items. They even have high-end, new, cast iron. if you have never held a multi thousand dollar knife, or felt a knife so sharp that a slight touch will sever an artery, this place is for you.

Mugs, toys, t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, trinkets, you name it, they have it! I ended up purchasing a softer than ever t shirt from the clearance rack for $25. I'm super stoked about it! For my son, I got some adorable pajamas (see picture). The bear did not come from this shop, however. But they did have bears! I also got a wooden box for my mother. She loves those things. Always requests them when I travel. I am very happy with my purchases and I would definitely come here again. The shop is located inside a building near the village base camp and right next to the sports shop!
