    I love coming to the Assistance League of Conejo Valley! Not only are you supporting a good cause…read moreand your community, but you end up getting such a better deal on the same quality of clothes that you would find at the mall. Some pieces I've found still have tags on them, and others are one of a kind vintage pieces. I tried on some jeans, and one of the younger, trendier workers that was assisting near the dressing rooms, I think her name was Robin, totally helped me style them. She was so amazing! The prices are somewhat fair, similar to goodwill, some exceeding depending on the brand, but cheaper than a designer consignment store. All of the clothes are donated, and what's even cooler is that all of the workers are volunteers. This one in Thousand Oaks has the most wonderful community of older women who use their time to give back to the community. They're all so nice and kind, and are always up for a conversation. Additionally, they have jewelry, accessories, houseware, and trinkets. The hours are a bit tricky, but it's worth checking out if you are free.

I understand businesses have policies, but I was disappointed by the lack of compassion and flexibility, especially for a disabled customer. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before visiting, particularly seniors and people with mobility challenges.
