It's been there for about 10 years and the old Quartz mechanism no longer worked. However, Ward was able to replace the mechanism so it works again! Brand new pendulum and clock hands too! It even has a speaker that can be adjusted on/off, different sounds, volume, and off at night! I am so happy with it , I just wish my Mom was here to see it. But now it can go back up on the wall. It's a beautiful piece and I will always think of my Mom when the time strikes haha but seriously Ward was awesome! It was done within basically 48 hours! I have used this small shop successfully for minor repairs under the past ownership, and I was impressed by the continued great customer service. I really appreciated the time they took. Unfortunately, when they examined my ring, they noticed the mounting had cracks which could lead to the diamond falling out. (They showed me). The repair would be expensive, but what shocked me was when I was told that a jeweler with different equipment might be able to laser-weld the repair for far less. This was not something I wanted to invest a lot of money in, and I really appreciated their helpfulness and giving me an option. They did a free estimate and showed me that my watch was running +12 secs, which admittedly is not bad but I knew it could be better.
