Huckleberry cabin

Our group of 7 had a wonderful time I. The mountains. We shared meals in the lovely lodge where guests are allowed to use the 6 burner stove, oven and pans and dishware. The whole place has a rustic charm. We were in Huckleberry and Trillium cabins. The camp has a lovely sauna. No showers other than from a bag of water you can fill from the one running tap that is only a very slow stream of water. The cabins can get super warm with the wood burning stove which was so nice after being out in the cold. A beautiful place for cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Tom was our host, and he was fantastic. Helpful, personable, and available to assist throughout the stay.

My family has been coming here for over 10 years each December, and we've visited through a couple ownership changes. I will say that each trip has been pleasantly memorable, but our latest trip this past weekend (12/13-16/24) was truly the best. The newest owners were so gracious and present throughout the snowy weekend shoveling snow and stocking firewood, and were wonderful hosts. We did several snowshoe adventures (my kids and husband were on skis up and down). We had plenty of cozy time in the lodge playing games and chilling out. We even had our pup with us the whole time. The transport to and from the camp to our cars was beautiful and comfortable, and punctual! This wintry trip has been such a unique resetting of our minds and always gets us in the holiday spirit. We are already looking forward to next year!

Clean facilities| Great location to downtown…read more We rented a trailer and needed a place to stay that was not too far from amenities in Leavenworth. This was an excellent choice. This is a small little RV park and campground, but I love how the owners take excellent care of the place. One guy was always out planting and watering the plants and flowers. Another guy was literally cleaning the bathrooms several times in the day. The restrooms are nice and clean!! (Showers are available too here) The campsites are alright, but if you have preference and/or a group, I highly recommend getting the lots 31, 32, 33 area. Wow, more room, away from the main road, more trees, and a couple boulders to climb on. It looks bigger than the spot we had, which was spot 4, next to the restrooms. Firepits are very small, but we still used it to make s'mores. They also have a little enclosed basketball area. Sites 17-30 are basically next to the main road. You will hear the road noise, especially if you're camping in a tent, but I still like staying at this campground because there's not many other options for an RV park. Across the street is a gas station and Safeway. You're within a minute or two from downtown too. If you're into climbing, you're not that far from Icicle Creek climbing area either. We would stay here again with friends if we camped/rented a trailer again.

This is a small campsite located walking distance from downtown leavenworth. We chose it for that…read morereason and it fit our needs perfectly. It's nothing special, but cost reflects that (so affordable!). We RV camped and found the water hookup was broken at our site. Also, it is extremely close to the main road which is very noisy. In all, gave 4 stars because I think the location beats all the rest if you want to walk downtown!

I'll give the pros and cons and you can decide for yourself…read more Pros Nice staff - we didn't care for the site we were assigned and they quickly gave us a much better site. Since the first site was in the middle of the lot in front of the store with no shade it wasn't hard to improve it. Clean restrooms - nice and clean facilities but usually crowded. 3 stalls and 3 showers in the one close to us was usually busy. Great store- open daily until 10pm is a nice convenience as well as having a Safeway 5 mins away. Activities for kids - if you have little ones they will love this place. They have daily activities for the kiddies as well as a pool and a path down to the river for a swim. There are basketball hoops, volleyball, playground and field to kick a ball. Proximity to town- very close to downtown Cons No space- they put a camp site in every nook and cranny they could. There are RV sites, tent sites, cabins all smashed together very close to one another. As well as in front of and behind. It felt like we were on top of each other. The roads throughout are one way and narrow so not enough room for a car to drive along side a walker or bike rider. 5 mph Too crowded- since there are so many sites and kid activities there are people and kids and dogs everywhere! We have a kid and 2 dogs so we get it but it just felt so cramped it was hard to relax. So depending on what you're looking for this may or may not be for you. If you want to get away from the busy city and want quiet nature time to spend with the family this isn't the place. If you want nonstop activities for the kids it is for you.

This full hook up tv resort has great views and access to a river. Many sites have shade trees…read more It is conveniently close to town but not in the hustle bustle. You can unwind quietly after a day of activity. After traveling around the country with our trailer I can confidently say this is one of my top choices to stay. This is my 2nd time here. The staff (Matt) was friendly and helpful. Helped us park and refilled our propane when we accidentally ran out. The laundry room has an app to use the machines. I really liked it because it notified me when my load was done and I didn't have to have a bunch of quarters. The bathroom was clean. It had toilets and showers. We used a fire stick for tv and our Netflix worked no problem. I hope to be back again!

The creek is beautiful to look at and listen to at night if you get a river front site…read more Unfortunately thats the only positive of this RV park. Not realizing the time change. We arrived 45 minutes early after driving for 8 1/2 hours from West Glacier MT. The host quickly pointed out that we would need to pay an extra $25.00 dollar fee (with taxes $27.10). We agreed because we were tired. The spaces are extremely close to each other. The fire rings are broken and hard to build a fire without smoke, intruding on your neighbors due to the close site proximity. The park is definitely not dog friendly, no where for dogs to play or do their business. Signs all over the park where dogs should not go or be, but they don't provide anywhere but an overgrown area behind the dumpsters with a sign to pick up but no doggie bags provided. It's clear the river front sites are their money makers because other areas of the park are in need of attention or under repair. The staff could be a littler more personable. On a couple of occasion we said good morning to no response. We left a day early without a refund and would of left earlier, but our next stop did not have openings.

We were looking for a fun adventure that the whole family could enjoy. My son had just turned 10…read moreand wanted to take one of his school buddies with him. We read the reviews online and called them to book our adventure. We were treated with kindness and respect from the time that we got there. We signed the requisite waivers and were told that the rapids head tamed down to class three which was very manageable and safe for the family. They outfit you with wet suits and boots and it's suggested that you bring your own hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Our guy took the time to get to know all the folks that were in our group and arranged us in the raft, according to our age and abilities. My son and his friend sat towards the back of the raft, which turned out to be the safest and driest location. After a short walk-through of expectations and paddling instruction, we got underway. Smooth sailing for the 1st mile or so, and then we hit our first group of rapids. The guy did an outstanding job of keeping us afloat and telling us which side to paddle aggressively, and which side to back off on. Throughout the day, this continued and we hit several more aggressive rapids that were challenging, but a lot of fun. Photographers are located throughout the course and will get some great pictures of your group as you head down the river. They are available for purchase at the end. Overall, a great experience and a great day with osprey rafting company. Highly recommended!

My family and I were treated with respect and attention to detail in the customer service received was excellent, even going out of their way to place phone calls to verify operation hours for the day for us on the hill. We will definitely recommend this location to all of our family and friends and will be stopping by again next time we are in the area. They do rental tubings in the summer to River flow and snow supplies in the winter for the nearby ski hill.
