I don't know how this campground possibly got four stars. It's one of the worst campgrounds I've ever stayed in dirty, Dusty ,very ill thought out. Right next to the interstate. Roads not even gravel, they're dirt. Campsites just seem to be willynilly. No one at the office when we arrived had to call to find out what site we were in .only 30 amp service. I wish I could say something good about this campground but I can't. Heard they are under new owners. No TV service but wifi is good

Dark, stout, malty beer, please!! *clink*

Pros: very friendly owners, super convenient location, fair prices, CLEAN bathroom and shower area Cons: yeah, right off the highway the road noise can be a bit much, but I've stayed places that were noisier I had a blast my first visit to Leavenworth. Alpine View is right across from Safeway and an easy walk into the village. I will certainly return, but will request campsite number OOOH!! not gonna tell you so you don't try to get the best one. Ha!

    10 year wedding anniversary!

We got very last minute reservations at Alpine View RV Park due to a cancellation for our 10 year wedding anniversary having never been to Leavenworth. Got checked in and settled in with nothing but friendliness and graciousness from the owner/operator's. Took off into town for a few hours to have a bite to eat and came home with balloons on our trailer wishing us a happy anniversary. Just a wonderful thoughtful gift acknowledging us. The Rv Park is meticulously clean and very well landscaped. And in a perfect spot for outings into town. If I could give more stars than five I would. A+++ I Would highly recommend this park and we will be definitely coming back. What a absolute joy.

Since the first site was in the middle of the lot in front of the store with no shade it wasn't hard to improve it. Clean restrooms - nice and clean facilities but usually crowded. 3 stalls and 3 showers in the one close to us was usually busy. Great store- open daily until 10pm is a nice convenience as well as having a Safeway 5 mins away. Activities for kids - if you have little ones they will love this place. They have daily activities for the kiddies as well as a pool and a path down to the river for a swim. There are basketball hoops, volleyball, playground and field to kick a ball. Proximity to town- very close to downtown Cons No space- they put a camp site in every nook and cranny they could. There are RV sites, tent sites, cabins all smashed together very close to one another. As well as in front of and behind. It felt like we were on top of each other. The roads throughout are one way and narrow so not enough room for a car to drive along side a walker or bike rider. 5 mph Too crowded- since there are so many sites and kid activities there are people and kids and dogs everywhere! We have a kid and 2 dogs so we get it but it just felt so cramped it was hard to relax. So depending on what you're looking for this may or may not be for you. If you want to get away from the busy city and want quiet nature time to spend with the family this isn't the place. If you want nonstop activities for the kids it is for you.

You can unwind quietly after a day of activity. After traveling around the country with our trailer I can confidently say this is one of my top choices to stay. This is my 2nd time here. The staff (Matt) was friendly and helpful. Helped us park and refilled our propane when we accidentally ran out. The laundry room has an app to use the machines. I really liked it because it notified me when my load was done and I didn't have to have a bunch of quarters. The bathroom was clean. It had toilets and showers. We used a fire stick for tv and our Netflix worked no problem. I hope to be back again!

We arrived 45 minutes early after driving for 8 1/2 hours from West Glacier MT. The host quickly pointed out that we would need to pay an extra $25.00 dollar fee (with taxes $27.10). We agreed because we were tired. The spaces are extremely close to each other. The fire rings are broken and hard to build a fire without smoke, intruding on your neighbors due to the close site proximity. The park is definitely not dog friendly, no where for dogs to play or do their business. Signs all over the park where dogs should not go or be, but they don't provide anywhere but an overgrown area behind the dumpsters with a sign to pick up but no doggie bags provided. It's clear the river front sites are their money makers because other areas of the park are in need of attention or under repair. The staff could be a littler more personable. On a couple of occasion we said good morning to no response. We left a day early without a refund and would of left earlier, but our next stop did not have openings.

We located this RV park online as they had availability for arrival on a Thursday/departure on a Friday. Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

I noticed that they had activities at least 5 days a week for the kids. They also had some activities for the wanta be kids (senior adults) in the activity room with Bingo and puzzles. The RV resort feels tucked away in the forest, giving it a cozy and secluded vibe. The sites have water and electric hookups (no sewer), and the bathrooms and showers were spotless. Showers operate with quarters, while the restrooms are free. The restaurant was a great bonus and really added to the stay. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hearty portions and delicious food. We loved that they also host weekly specials and events like free Bingo on Mondays, Taco Tuesday, Prime Rib Friday, and live music on Saturdays. Out back there is a spacious yard with picnic tables, yard games, and a stage for music, which makes it feel like a little community hub. There is also a gas station and convenience store next door, which came in handy for basics and propane tank refills. The location itself is perfect. It is only about 15 minutes to downtown Leavenworth's Bavarian village and very close to Lake Wenatchee State Park for outdoor adventures. A big shoutout to Vito, the host, who is very hands-on and attentive, especially in the restaurant. You can tell he takes pride in making sure guests are well taken care of. Prices were very reasonable for both the RV sites and the restaurant. The only thing I would suggest is adding a fenced-in dog run, but there are trails on the property where you can walk your dog, so it was not a big issue. Overall, this is a great spot if you want a peaceful RV stay with excellent food, fun activities, and close access to both Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee. Highly recommend!

The North Campground is still closed due to lingering snow and is expected to reopen around May 1. Until May 7, all campsites throughout the area are offered on a first come, first served basis. Because the roads in the South Campground are narrow, RVs and trailers longer than 20 feet cannot be accommodated, and water and electric RV hookups are not available. Exterior water remains turned off throughout the campground, but restroom facilities are open. Payment is by cash/check at the campground bulletin board. $23/night and $10/night for any extra vehicle until April 1st when fees change. Review--- SO this is exactly what the website says. Then you call and the nice ranger person says YES we open, first come first serve. Pay and camp any place in the south lot. So you and your group heads out to this great place only to be told after you drive in, set up, pay and get ready for a relaxing evening.... "Sorry we are closed and you need to move your vehicles." After a lot of interaction with one nice Ranger (Zach) explaining our situation of car camping and tent camping. Going over the website and other details. He needed to get the next Ranger. Second ranger; very grouchy borderline rude. Again Explaining the website says open and camping allowed. And multiple wellllllll you might need to move cars. I was like, NO the site says open and we are camping. After a lot of back and forth: We got to stay. While we were there (2 nights); 3 other groups who also read the forest website showed up. All ready to camp. Fortunately for them we already encountered all the back and forth about closed not closed ect so they did not get the rather rude ranger up in their business. Overall a great camp ground with running water in the main building by the lake (soon others as things warm up), hot water, flat tent areas and a great hiking trail system around. A clean camp ground, please folks keep it that way. Help those workers out. But trash Inside the bins (2 people day use could not read and put there crap on top of the open-able trash cans). There is a sign on the door that says no hot water. That's fine, whatever, tent campers get cold showers while paying for full hookups like we did so we could have electricity but we get cold showers because we are sleeping in tents. But this was not the issue. The issue is that the hot water is turned on sometimes... and there is no warning and no way to regulate the temp that comes out of the shower head. For whatever reason the faucet, while turning left and right - effects nothing. Now, if the water coming out was a nice warm 105 to 110 degrees that would be fine. But this was so hot it burned my daughters head and she only had it under the shower for the time it took to turn the water on, scream and move away. So, I went and got my meat thermometer and tested it. 167 degrees Fahrenheit. I highly doubt the legal department at PUD is aware of the water temperature streaming out of that shower head. One more thing about that water. We were told they turned on the hot water because the water for one of the RV'ers wasn't working. What? I'm confused on this tidbit. We also bought an RV space. Why the plain discrimination against tenters who are paying full rates? Why not warm water for all? But please, before that, fix the temperature problem first. If my daughter had been 2 instead of 21 her skin would have blistered and there would've been a hospital trip. Other than the hot water issue the campground is very nice, windy like a tropical storm, but beautiful. Be aware, camping has recently changed to reservation only.
