Clean facilities| Great location to downtown We rented a trailer and needed a place to stay that was not too far from amenities in Leavenworth. This was an excellent choice. This is a small little RV park and campground, but I love how the owners take excellent care of the place. One guy was always out planting and watering the plants and flowers. Another guy was literally cleaning the bathrooms several times in the day. The restrooms are nice and clean!! (Showers are available too here) The campsites are alright, but if you have preference and/or a group, I highly recommend getting the lots 31, 32, 33 area. Wow, more room, away from the main road, more trees, and a couple boulders to climb on. It looks bigger than the spot we had, which was spot 4, next to the restrooms. Firepits are very small, but we still used it to make s'mores. They also have a little enclosed basketball area. Sites 17-30 are basically next to the main road. You will hear the road noise, especially if you're camping in a tent, but I still like staying at this campground because there's not many other options for an RV park. Across the street is a gas station and Safeway. You're within a minute or two from downtown too. If you're into climbing, you're not that far from Icicle Creek climbing area either. We would stay here again with friends if we camped/rented a trailer again. read more

This is a small campsite located walking distance from downtown leavenworth. We chose it for that reason and it fit our needs perfectly. It's nothing special, but cost reflects that (so affordable!). We RV camped and found the water hookup was broken at our site. Also, it is extremely close to the main road which is very noisy. In all, gave 4 stars because I think the location beats all the rest if you want to walk downtown! read more

We reserved site 15 for one night in mid August 2015. When we arrived between 11 AM and noon, no one was in the office, though according to the very limited office hours posted on the door, someone should have been. We couldn't find site 15, so I called the number which was also posted on the door. Spoke to "Linda" who seemed nice, told us where to find site 15, but could not clearly explain where we should set up our small trailer. The site was marked only by the number on the back side of a tree. Totally unpaved, so no markings as to how we were to orient the trailer. She did offer a site right next to the office, but we were not comfortable with our 19' trailer in that very small site. Spent about 1 1/2 hours of phone calls, moving and jockeying the trailer before finally giving it our best guess and going into town to do the tourist thing and have dinner. About as soon as I paid $20 for all day parking, Linda texted to say we had to move the trailer as we guessed wrong. Another hour wasted. I asked for a partial refund to offset the hassle, but all she offered was half off our next stay. She knew we were from out of state and would likely never return. That is now certain. Only good news is the cg is right on the edge of town. But $70+ per night and was NOT a pleasant experience for us! read more

I don't know how this campground possibly got four stars. It's one of the worst campgrounds I've ever stayed in dirty, Dusty ,very ill thought out. Right next to the interstate. Roads not even gravel, they're dirt. Campsites just seem to be willynilly. No one at the office when we arrived had to call to find out what site we were in .only 30 amp service. I wish I could say something good about this campground but I can't. Heard they are under new owners. No TV service but wifi is good read more

Pros: very friendly owners, super convenient location, fair prices, CLEAN bathroom and shower area Cons: yeah, right off the highway the road noise can be a bit much, but I've stayed places that were noisier I had a blast my first visit to Leavenworth. Alpine View is right across from Safeway and an easy walk into the village. I will certainly return, but will request campsite number OOOH!! not gonna tell you so you don't try to get the best one. We got very last minute reservations at Alpine View RV Park due to a cancellation for our 10 year wedding anniversary having never been to Leavenworth. Got checked in and settled in with nothing but friendliness and graciousness from the owner/operator's. Took off into town for a few hours to have a bite to eat and came home with balloons on our trailer wishing us a happy anniversary. Just a wonderful thoughtful gift acknowledging us. The Rv Park is meticulously clean and very well landscaped. And in a perfect spot for outings into town. If I could give more stars than five I would. A+++ I Would highly recommend this park and we will be definitely coming back. What a absolute joy. read more

While these grounds are definitely more geared towards RV camping, we enjoyed our tent stay in late July. Though space is relatively small, sites are decently size and semi-private due to large boulders and trees. Bathrooms are cute and clean, and we were excited to discover showers with awesome water-pressure. Park is located next to a busy street so there is a bit of road noise, but we loved being able to walk into downtown Leavenworth. Thanks for a great stay! read more

Very nice rv park. My wife and I stayed here last weekend 9/9/16-9/11/16. I was really happy with our site (20) It was level, clean, close to the bathrooms, and big enough for our TT and truck. Walking distance to downtown Leavenworth and just a clean little park you want to go to! read more

Happened to find this place last minute and was super thrilled ! I did have a harder time originally getting ahold of business but they immediately called me back after I left a message for them and told me to come on in :) After hiking and deciding to stay last minute for other day I knew it would be almost impossible to find a place specially during these crazy times but to my benefit this place is privately owed and open ! The owner was so nice , and the place was very well kept and clean along with the showers and bathrooms which was easily assessable . The loss of star comes from that its next to the highway and you do hear the cars driving by . This area is mostly geared for rv though and I'm pretty sure I was only tent so I'm sure In a rv you'd barely hear if even hear at all . Since it is more designed for rv there isn't much privacy and you do see your neighbors very easily but they were all nice ;) Overall it's close to town with the nearest store right across the way so makes for a convenient stop . read more

Super nice staff. Great location to be able to walk into town for the festivities. The place looks small, but it was very easy to get out trailer into our spot. Bathrooms are warm and clean. This rat hole was by far the worst place we've stayed in 25 years of camping! So noisy, just a few feet from very busy highway. Spaces are tiny packed in like sardines on dirt. Residents are drinking and yelling till after midnight. The best thing about this place is leaving! I wish I could leave a 0 Star. read more

This is our second time at this campground. We've stayed at the others in town as well, but this is easily our favorite. The owners are very nice and hardworking. Everyday they are out working on their place and it shows. Clean and pretty. Showers have both traditional and rain shower heads! We were evacuated from a campground quite a bit north of town due to fire, later in the evening. They were so helpful, after office hours, to find us two spaces. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the noise from hwy 2. It doesn't bother me but others may find it a problem. read more

Best rates right in Leavenworth and close to the tourist area of Front Street. I just have a camper van so I only needed an electrical hook up, but it was nice to have a variety of options from partial to full to premium. There's also tent sites. And I had a little deer visit off an on for about 4-5 hours. That was extra sweet. Only down side is it's right off highway 2, so you probably want a site farther in from the road. read more

Camping here in our travel trailer for the Christmas Lighting Festival and this place is great. The woman in the office is kind and we were charged $66 for two nights with just electric (water is shut off in the winter to partial hookups). It is a decent walk to town, not impossible. The free showers are soooo pretty, nice tile and everything looks clean and water gets nice and hot! You're also right across the road from Safeway for any last-minute needs. read more

I've tent camped here twice for Oktoberfest. Getting the right campsite makes a world of difference as some are packed in like sardines. Sites 31, 32 and 33 are def the best! Nice clean warm bathrooms, reasonably priced. Nice walk to town. Will def go again. read more

I've been to many RV parks around the US while traveling. This one is one of my favorites now. The couple that operates the park are really awesome and very accommodating. The campground is chill as far as an RV park goes. While it's right next to the road, the vehicle traffic isn't that loud. The bathroom and showers are remodeled and really nice. They offer showers for $5.00 to non-guests and it's the best shower in town (compared to the 4 others I've been to). I plan on coming here off and on throughout the season while I'm hiking the area. Just a tip, dont' do what I did once, I came early in the morning to deposit $5.00 for a shower, they have a pup that'll bark, if you anticipate doing a shower in the morning, I'd pay the evening before so you don't wake them up. Read lots of negative reviews but saw recently there were more positive than negative. We had a great experience. Dec 2014 We walked to town and had full hook ups and wifi for $38. Bathrooms were new, warm and clean. We were in spot 6 and it was cozy but we were there for the Christmas lights and were not looking to start a campfire. We have a 32 foot motorhome with slides and it was perfect. You can pay $101 a night and go across the street and not be within walking distance but why? Road was noisy but like I said. We saved $70 dollars and were within a half mile of town so well worth it! We will stay again! RG read more

Drove through and checked this place out on our way out of town, seemed pretty great and very affordable! Stayed in a condo downtown for Oktoberfest and all we kept hearing about was how amazing this town is at Christmas time only our condo was booked for every weekend in December until the year 2018! Since we just bought a truck and camper we thought we'd expand our options to camping in December. First off, places have to undergo expensive heat tracing of their water lines to be able to stay open through the winter so that rules out any government funded campgrounds leaving only private ones. First we checked out the KOA next to safeway. Actually that's a lie, we started pulling down the driveway of KOA as I checked out the website and went into cardiac arrest. The place charges three figures PER NIGHT to camp! I only paid $150/night for our super nice condo with a balcony overlooking the parade route! I've never never heard of an all inclusive campground but I'm thinking if one ever exists that only then would I be ok with paying $100/night to CAMP. Booked alpine view for Christmas right then and there. $37/night! Very reasonable. read more

This was our second time staying here. The price is reasonable, the walk is short to Leavenworth, and the shuttle runs about every 30 min or so for Oktoberfest. The bathroom and showers were clean every time I used it. Never had an issue with the RV hookups. Some folks complained about the traffic noise coming from the highway, this wasn't an issue for us. We will probably always stay here for Oktoberfest. read more

She had seen my rv sitting in the park an entire week and still had the ignorance to snap at my driver asking who he was , she was not polite about asking and just assumed the worst . Very poor RV park in all sand no grass. Large holes everywhere with only boards or plastic lids covering. No 50 amp and shabby hookups and sewer drains. Would not stay here again. No money being put back in faculties. Uch nicer parks closer and more reasonable. Town is Ok to be on German theme but food is poor and way over priced. Beautiful area in the mountains and great scenery but not worth the prices read more
