Following this meeting, I must have come across three other physicians who all recommended Malcarney, one operating room RN who highly recommended Malcarney, and a bunch of other people at our Health Club (Should be called a recovery club) who gave high praise to Malcarney for her work on them! So I had the surgery (can't say that it was great since I was out cold when she was operating on me), but I can say that Malcarney and all of her team members were outstanding in their communications, their follow-up, their bedside manner, their subdued yet appreciated sense of humor, and their positive attitudes! It was as good of an experience as one can hope for, and the rest is up to the PT and my ability to follow his instructions... In closing, I have to say that I appreciate Malcarney's approach and how she and the PA explained it all. I highly recommend her, as do apparently countless other former patients in and around the Reno Area...I think that speaks volumes! You can't go wrong by going with Malcarney to perform the surgery...you can only go wrong by screwing up your shoulder (like I did)...Just glad that Doctor Malcarney was there to repair it all!

It would be helpful if there was an online link so patient could fill out in advance of their first appointment. Prominence Medicare required a $40 copay for the initial evaluation ($10/PT) and pre approved 16 visits. I had to suspend PT due to lower back pain and Dr requiring lumbar injections prior to an ablation therapy appointment and requested 6 weeks after ablation before resuming PT. Premiere closed my file until I could begin core strengthening PT in the future.

I have known of him since he was at the university of Nevada Athletics Dept as the main Dr. He diagnosed me accordingly and also had me do therapy for full range of motion right away unlike ROC who didn't even mention that. It's tough to get in the schedule but my surgery went successful today. Dr. Pappas was very clear on what he recommended an what should be done didn't feel pressured at all. The entire team and process was done so well and professionally I am so grateful. His assistant Terry is also very professional and I am surprised she isn't a Dr. for the amount of knowledge she has. Initial phone appointment: Very friendly and informative and easy to get questions answered and make the appointment. A+ experience. Check-In: Front desk was upbeat, and even though they were quite busy, she made me feel welcome and made sure I understood everything and did not rush to get me set up. Added bonus. I'm a new patient and was given a tour of the office and various options they offer for treatment. I was impressed! I asked how long she had been with the practice and she replied, "How long do you think?" Then said just three weeks. If I were still in the business, I would do what I could to recruit her to join one of my companies! Then met the Chiropractor, Dr Melissa Perotti. I wish I had her energy! She seems very nice and friendly, and clearly cares about her patients. I like that she has a conservative approach and isn't recommending any crazy meds or surgeries - just a reasonable approach to trying things to relieve pain. She listens and explains things well and it was really cool to have her show me MRI results of my back and explain what was going on in there. She was highly recommended by my physical therapist and I am very glad to have found her.
