He means well I am sure, but he comes off almost like a con artist with not answering what is being asked, and going around the question. He can be professional... yet unprofessional in my case, and I do feel a certain way with how this gentleman handles his business. He withheld my property for over 7 months without giving me an update on anything. I came to this man on November 27, 2017 to take in my wedding dress which I bought used, so it was slightly loose on me. He never gave me a set date on when he would finish the dress, but told me he has a wedding for May, and then prom season, so he will not start on my dress right away. That already sounded discouraging, however I trusted that he would work on it but by bit, to get my dress finished sooner than anticipated. I was needing it by at least March for a photo shoot. Every month or two I would call to ask for an update and he assured me that it was in good hands, however I never asked if it was safe. I asked for an UPDATE. I also had a photo shoot scheduled for March 23, 2018. I informed Mr. Santos, however he convinced me that he would not be done in time due to prom season. Prom season or not, had I told him my wedding was in March, April, or May, he would have met my deadline. He continued to go in circles with me and I was so sick of it. Come the month of May and I am getting anxious and frustrated with this man. Gave him a call and he states the same things he's said before! "I had other brides and I just finished with prom season. Some girls did not even pick up their gowns!" Well maybe if you did not take so long, nor gave people the runaround, people would have taken you more seriously. I decided enough was enough, and came in for a surprise visit after 3 days of just speaking to him for an update. Actually I called him to tell him I would rather get a refund for the deposit I put down, and taking it to someone else to meet my needs faster! He refused to give me my dress and said he would do as promised. He asked to give him until the end of July. HELL NO! I had to lie and said my photo shoot was scheduled for end of June in order to get my dress ASAP. Surprised him one morning as he opened shop. He kinda jumped up and told me my dress is currently being worked on. I said okay, I would like to see it. Walked into the room, and there it was... JUST STARTED TO BE WORKED ON AFTER SPEAKING VIA PHONE 3 days ago. Tell me... WTF HAVE YOU BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST 7 MONTHS WITH MY DRESS?! I COULD HAVE TAKEN IT TO ANY REPUTABLE ALTERATIONS PERSON AND GOT IT DONE FASTER & CHEAPER! June 21, 2018: I finally get to pick up my damn dress. This guy quoted me $850 initially, and requested another $100 due to the "extensive" work he has done. The only f-ing extensive work he's done is getting it done in less than 2 weeks because I threaten to take my dress back, also calling the credit card company due to not meeting service of request. Even the credit card company stated 7 months is just too damn long! In total, he charged me $920 for the work of taking in my dress, and cleaning up the mermaid bottom tule (finding the bustles). Honestly I could have taken my dress to a different person for cheaper and the same type of work. I still have freaking clothes pins hanging from the bottoms tules. This man can talk your ear off and become so repetitive with everything he states. I honestly just wanted to kill myself in his presence. JUST GIVE ME MY DAMN DRESS ALREADY! Con artist who over charges and withheld my property for over 7 months! I can honestly say, WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! STAY THE HELL AWAY!

They redid my skirt three times until I got what I wanted. They also redid the fit at the top when I pointed out that the lace was puckered from the way it fit on my chest. I paid $650 for a custom made wedding dress- the original quoted price was $600. I was satisfied with this price despite being a little more in the end. He also tailored one of my work suits perfectly but the price was also more in the end than what he had quoted. I am giving 4 stars out of 5 because there were times that I felt that he could really use a secretary to manage appointments and phone calls, and the changes in price were not explained until he was finished with the garments. It's on the customer to be direct with him about cost and appointments as he may change these or forget them all together but his quality of work is very, very good.

My sister and I both brought our wedding gowns to her for alteration and were so impressed with the entire process and end result. We are both petite and our gowns required more than just a hem. She was able to figure out how to alter the gowns so they looked like they were made for us! She also went above and beyond to design a bow for my gown-which I wasn't sure was possible given that I didn't have the original fabric of the gown and wasn't sure if I could get it in time. She quickly came up with a design (and even had the fabric for it) that worked beautifully! The bow was also much less expensive than what the designer quoted me! I brought a dress in for alterations which cost me $220.00!!! The dress was Tahari & originally cost $375. My bad as I did not try the dress on when I picked up so when I was dressing for my event there was a problem with the zipper & I could not wear the dress. I returned the dress for repair & explained I was unable to wear as planned. When I picked up the repaired dress I was NOT offered any compensation. I asked will you be issuing any type of credit and she offered a discount on future alterations. No worries because there won't be any future alterations. Class Tailor's made a mistake and instead of offering me a small $50 credit for my inconvenience I get nothing. I might need an alteration once a year, it's not common for me. The charge of $220 blew me away but I accepted it but was too high! High prices & no compensation for their mistake.
