Jason did a great job suggesting a few options for my casual beach elopement. Their in-house tailor did a nice job with measurements and everything was ready on time. I also got a couple casual shirts I really like. This place isn't cheap but they seem to only carry quality brands and the customer service is amazing. I probably would've spent a similar amount of money at Nordstrom but this was a way better buying experience and I was out of there in well under an hour. If you have an aversion to the under 20 set, I wouldn't recommend this store. The majority of employees and shoppers, save their mothers, are on average 18 years old. It's worth a walk through if you're in the area, but not worth the drive from The Galleria. Oh, and just a note in reference to "Fashion C's" review, while Free People and Betsy Johnson have great designs, the clothes are a bit over-priced for the poor quality of their clothing. Made to last one season. Given that it was a special event (Mistletoe Madness), you would've thought that they'd hire more help. They were disastrously understaffed and one "changing room" was not cutting it. The quotation marks around the word "changing room" are there because it was really just a bathroom. And evidently there was some mysterious and elusive list that you had to get on to use the bathro, err. . .dressing room, but none of the sales associates bother even offering to put my name on the list even as I sat there with a dress in my hand waiting by the bathroom door. They do have a smaller men's section that contains seemingly only British style button-down shirts. Many of them were a bit on the girly side with way too much floral work, but that seems to be all the rage with hipsters so I'm sure they do well. Evidently they also have another store in the Woodlands (or was it Katy?) that carries the same stuff. While the clothes were pretty cute, some of it was a bit out there and it was much too trendy for my tastes. I just cannot justify spending that much money on something that is such a fashion statement and will be "out" next season.

Reference images of what these pieces looked like before the alterations provided. What the photos show: Vest (needed to be shortened): first attempt, they created new seams, gapping fabric, uneven stitching along zipper; and seams and bottom of vest are uneven when zipped. Second attempt: still uneven along bottom when zipped; stitching still uneven and unfinished along seams; still exposed unfinished fabric edges (new crooked seams successfully removed). Punctured interior exposing down lining. Dress (needed waist taken in): reference image and first and second attempts. First attempt: new darts added to back with crooked stitch and uneven width. Second attempt: fabric bunched to one side of interior; side zipper not flush with top (does not fully zip closed). Three weeks (+4 days late), these alterations are still subpar. They blamed the sewing machine. The refund I received was the bare minimum.

Service is impeccable, fast, courteous, and professional in the extreme. Their understanding of tailoring, selection of fabric (with an especially wide selection of Samuelson), and knowledge of cuts is outstanding. They got recommended to me by practising attorneys in Houston who've had occasion to shop around - and Pablo's place comes No. 1 to them, and now to me. If you want to be kind to the tailors, communicate if your job is (sincerely) urgent or not; they're able to accommodate you either way while juggling competing obligations. E.g., I've had them fix suits for me (sleeves and pants taken in) on multiple occasions, and depending on need, the turn-around was as short as 2-3 days (urgent) or over a week (could easily wait). Just communicate with them, they're friendly and fully understanding of your needs. Staff are incredibly friendly and on one occasion even assisted me with the incredibly minor nuisance of fixing ripped high-end socks. They fixed them, free of charge (of course I tipped in return), and I could not even tell which of the two socks was fixed. It's in the small things that you can tell the quality of a person and of an establishment.
