If I could give ZERO stars, I absolutely would…read more McCoy Services is a complete disgrace to customer service. I do service dispatch for a living, and I would never speak to someone in need the way their dispatcher spoke to me. The woman on the phone was shockingly rude -- talking over me, blaming my insurance for "lying," giving attitude when I simply asked for an update, and acting annoyed that I even needed help. I genuinely wish I had recorded the call. If this is who answers your phones, fire your dispatcher. The timeline speaks for itself: * Called at 7:30 AM * Got a confirmation text at 8:02 AM saying arrival would be within 45-75 minutes * Tow truck didn't show up until 10:15 AM When I pointed out the delay (calmly), she cut me off mid-sentence blaming the insurance and dryly asked if I wanted to cancel -- after I had already waited over an hour in the winter. Absolutely unprofessional and honestly disgusting. And the kicker? Yelp is full of the exact same complaints. So clearly this isn't an off day -- it's who they are. McCoy Services and the dispatcher wasted my time, my money, and treated me like I was an inconvenience instead of a stranded customer. I'd avoid this place if this is quality humans they keep employed. Never again. I'll be submitting for reimbursement and warning everyone I can to avoid this company at all costs.

Posting my friend Emilie's written review, as she does not have a Yelp account:…read more ** My family and I have gone to McCoy's in Channahon for many, many, years. We have been loyal customers. Not anymore. The disrespect and the dishonesty with which they have treated me is unforgivable, and I will never patronize this shop again. Here's why: I took my vehicle to McCoy's for brake and exhaust issues, and I asked for an estimate of the costs, which they provided. An extra $336 appeared out of nowhere. I understand that an estimate is indeed an estimate, but at no point did the folks at McCoy's contact me about $336. After I got my vehicle back, I called McCoy's and spoke with Janet. Janet informed me that the owner would be calling me back at some point. He didn't. I posted on Facebook, without naming the business, asking for advice from my mechanic friends. Merely minutes after posting on Facebook, I received a call from McCoy's. It wasn't the owner. It was Janet. She berated me and treated me like garbage. She had apparently seen my Facebook post, and she accused me of slandering the business. Not only do some of the charges seem excessive -- the mysterious $300+ fee is inexplicable. I'm attaching pictures. I won't return to this business again, and I will advise my friends in Channahon not to do so -- at least as long as Janet is there. Update: Janet is now harassing me on Facebook.

When inquiring about a particular vehicle (2018 Dodge grand Caravan) and speaking with Jim, the…read morequestion I asked "is everything on the vehicle working as it should?"... I was informed by Jim that everything on the was working.... When I picked up the and was going through it testing to ensure that things on the were working properly. I found the left rear sliding door would not lock. The sales person at that time didn't look surprised at all and offered to take $200 off the selling price. This was telling me they knew about it and flat out lied. How can you possibly miss a door that will not secure during your general inspection when you first receive the vehicle? Also, I took the vehicle to get the oil changed and as the Oil Change location was pulling out the dipstick to check the oil before starting the oil change, half of the oil dipstick tube came out with the dipstick. It was broken in half. You know they have to have checked the oil when the vehicle first came in so they were well aware of the dipstick tube being broken and once again when I had asked if everything was working as it should, they lied. I would not trust purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. It doesn't matter if it is a no-warranty and is a "as is" used car dealership. When you ask the specific questions and they lie about it, that tells you a lot about the lack of integrity with this business. I do not recommend doing any business with them. No matter how inexpensive the vehicle may be priced, and no matter what questions you may ask, you cannot trust them. Move on to a another dealership.

I was truly disappointed I'm this place, mostly the uncaring kids that work there. Six days after…read moremy car was towed there (including the weekend, to be fair) I stopped in to take a picture of the codes necessary for the correct part. Kraig was good to tell me them over the phone the day before, but it sounded like he said it was a PCM, when in fact, it was a BCM. Wish he would've been more clear, but not a big deal. When we were walking out there, we noticed the right rear tire was flat, even though my car was towed there & was a-ok at that point. Kraig stated it must be a slow leak; wasn't like that a couple of days ago. This was a Tuesday, yet they're closed on weekends (??). In checking out the tire, he then said it was getting low in 3 hrs. Be that as it may, When I picked up the car after it was done, immediately I saw big white scratches on my rear bumper that was not there before. Went in to inform Kraig & while we were looking at it, I then noticed a smaller mark on the front bumper, which was completely repainted just a few months beforehand & was also fine when it was towed there! He tried to downplay it & said he'd get ahold of the owner. In the meantime, I received photos from the tow truck company proving it was fine upon arrival there, yet Kraig said the owner was only willing to pay for the back bumper! Thankfully I disputed the charges with the AMEX (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), so then he caved in & paid for both bumpers. I later found out they will actually use a quad runner ATV to push in and out cars if necessary!! The tire was suspicious since it happened well into their possession, but I let it go since I wanted nothing else than to move on & put this behind us. If all this wasn't enough, they didn't even have the courtesy to use a paper floor mat, so my car was rather filthy especially on the driver side. Unless you want your car treated like this folks, there are places very close by (Ewerts Automotive, Art's automotive) that treat their customer's cars with more respect & are much more reasonable. Low integrity automotive charges approx $185/hr, which is comparable to dealers!!
