If I had gone to any other car auto shop they would have said that I needed new brakes from the sound I heard. Ed took a look at the car and said they look great. He explained the difference between the pads. He also showed me how my pads and rotors looked on the car and what to look for when they start going. I really appreciate how he did not rip me off. On my last car he told me how much was left on each brake and roughly how much time I had left before they needed to be replaced. I did need two new catalytic converters and that it was a matter of time before my third one would go. Again super honest. He suggested that with the amount of miles I had on it that I would be better getting rid of it (I was almost at 200K). I will continue to refer people to him. Everyone who has gone to him all say the same thing. They appreciate his honesty. He is very fair with his prices and his turn around time for repairs is never that long. The most I had to wait was 2 days. If you need some work done then I recommend popping in or calling! You won't be disappointed. They advised me that to get into the trans and change that, they should replace the whole transmission for a couple hundred more, otherwise they couldn't guarantee the work. And they charged $150 for this "diagnosis". They wanted thousands of dollars for a new transmission, and I was stuck because I couldn't take the emissions test to renew my plates with a check engine light on. Brought it to Tony's Transmissions, and he replaced the sensor in a few days for a few hundred dollars. I can't remember the exact amount because I paid cash and it was about a year ago, but I just saw his business pop up when I was doing a search and remembered that I should have left him a review back then. He really did great work. Check engine light was off, car passed emissions, and we drove it for another year before selling it a friend for his teenage son. Car is still running strong.

SOMEONE THERE KEEPS RELISTING THIS PLACE ONCE ONE LISTING GETS TOO MANY BAD REVIEWS!!! I brought in my car for service because I was getting a bad engine shake and needed a oil change. At first they quoted me somewhere around 2k for I think it was 4 mounts and some other stuff. I get a call the next day saying that it was done and that it only costed 1,100 because after doing the one mount it tightened up and the other mounts were not needed. Before I hung up, I asked them if they test drove it to make sure that it stopped shaking and they said yes. I go there and pick it up and drive out the parking lot. Right off the bat, it starts shaking at 25 mph. I was like whatever, I got stuff to do, i will go back later. On the way home, I started smelling burning oil. I thought they just spilled oil at first until I got close to home and got stopped at a red light and started seeing smoke coming from the engine. I get home and opened up the hood and see the oil cap is missing and the entire engine is covered in oil. I calmly called them up and explained to them what was going on. I was told to bring it back and they would take care of the oil and check out the shaking. They cleaned up the oil pretty good. Also put it up in the air and told me that the shaking is now coming from the driveshaft. They cant do that there so they referred me to someone else. I drove it around that night and a little the next morning until I heard a noise and the car started shaking worse then before. I brought it to someone else to get it looked at. They told me that it was a bad motor mount. At first I thought it was one of the other mounts that was not replaced. Turned out that it was the one the AUTO clinic just did. To top it off, it was the wrong mount and when it broke, it caused other damage when the engine shifted. When I told them what happened, I was told that I would get a call the next day. A week went by and I heard nothing from them. I tried calling a few times and no one would pick up. When someone did pick up, they transferred me to the owner. Basically only offered me 300 store credit. I told him that I do not want store credit and that I want the 300 plus the 400 in damages caused when the mount broke in cash because there was no way I would take my car to that place again. He refused to give me any cash at all, not even that 300. So now I am disputing it with the credit card company trying to get something back. I ended up loosing over 500 in income too because I use my car for work. If anyone knows a lawyer interested in taking up a lawsuit, please let me know!
