Had a great Experience with this shop. Drove in told them what was going on with my truck and was told to drop it off the next day and I did. I received a call the following day explaining what the problem was, I told to go ahead and fix it. They not only fixed it but explained to me step by step what was going on with it. BEWARE! Brought my vehicle in for my check engine light. A extremely impatient rude man told me they would have to do a $100 diagnostic test. That was a red flag for me but still proceeded because I'm a mother of 3 and literally needed the vehicle fixed asap! He called me and told me that i needed a new tire and ignition coil, and oil change for a total of $405! Again, seemed excessive but i had no choice. Literally the next day my check engine light came on! Took it back and the same rude man seemed very offended that i came back to let him know my check engine light was back on. He proceeded to tell me i would have to pay for ANOTHER diagnostic test even though i literally just paid it and he didn't even fix the issue. After i explained that i just paid it and he never fixed the original issue he became very dismissive and aggressive. Extremely unprofessional! Took my vehicle to another shop and it was repaired for $80! Absolute fraud this place is. I don't know who these paid reviewers are but please beware! I took my car to this shop because my car was overheating. They told me that I needed to replace the cooling fan, which cost $700. A day later the car was overheating again. I took it back when they opened, and they made me wait because other customers were ahead of me. When they finally got around to looking at it they never let me know what was done. I followed up on my own and they said it wasn't overheating - even though I know it was overheating. They acted like I was a nuisance, and had an attitude when I tried to get them to fix my car. I finally took my car from the shop and made an appointment to have another shop look at my car - a shop that cares. I thought after spending $700 on my car the shop would have been more willing to make sure my car was running properly - but I was sorely mistaken. read more

The worst place ever paid for my car to be towed here told them my car wouldn't start they said we got you I said I had just got a starter and had a warranty they said it was no good and I couldn't come in after and take it back so I paid about $400 for a new one drove it home it would not start they said have it towed back went to another shop right away they said it was the ignition switch changed it and I've been good ever since that place is a ripoff never go to a place because it's near by you might end up paying for things you don't need and still have t spend more read more

I went to Village Auto Repair yesterday after going to two different Auto Zones, who couldn't figure out how to change out my back tail light. I called Village Auto and asked them if they could do it for me and how much. The cost was pretty insignificant, especially if I didn't have to waste anymore time dealing with this. So the guy quickly replaces the bulb and then tells me it's not working that it must be the electrical and that I would have to come back tomorrow and drop my car off for a few hours, as well as pay $45 just to look at it. When I got home, my fiancé took a look at it and she quickly realized that he never plugged the bulb in and ta da the tail light works. So basically, either Village Auto is incompetent or they wanted to rip me off for more money. I definitely think it's the latter. CONSUMERS BEWARE!! read more

(took my money) never again!!!!i brought my truck in with a check engine / oil indicator. i explained the problem and was told to expect a call back to discuss. the call back occurred and with the price i told them to make the repairs. i called back checking on the progress and was told thier repairs did not fix the problem. he said he replaced the pressure switch as that usually will correct the problem! he explained he would check other issues but it would now be more $$ to repair my problem. by the way, he state he broke my door handle while trying to get out the vehicle. he stated if i purchased the handle he would install that for free! i decided to cut my losses and took my still questionable running truck with the now broken handle and left after paying the bill. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I went to this place and was explaining to the jerk at the counter the problem I was having with my car. The whole time I was explaining to him what the problem was, he gave me this continued blank stare as if I was inconveincing him. He overtalked me and during this 5 minute interaction, I was not able to complete one full sentence. I politely thanked him and drove 1.5 miles down the road to another shop and was treated professionally and like a human being. So thank you to the ASSHOLE at the counter for sending me away to another shop where I received awesome customer service and with better prices to boot!!!! read more
