We stopped here for a late lunch on the drive from Breck to Denver. The menu offers a bunch of types of meat sandwiches, burgers and meat plates. These included brisket, pulled pork, chicken, elk, bison, bratwurst, ribs, turkey legs and sides like baked beans, coleslaw, corn on the cob and chips. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich for $8 while I tried the pulled pork (also $8). Most sandwiches were $8 or less and a "hungry man's plate" with a few types of meat and a side was just $10. Our original plan was to share/split sandwiches, however we each inhaled ours so fast that sharing was not gonna happen. My pulled pork was super juicy and not fatty at all. Ditto for the piece of brisket meat that fell out of my husband's sandwich that I was able to taste - perfectly tender and moist. We both loved the bread. It was soft with a slight chew like a very puffy baguette, not crumbly like a burger bun. It was able to wrap around the big pile of meat on both our sandwiches and hold everything in, even though juices were dripping through. Very tasty! Also not a ginormous portion size which was perfect for me (probably not so much for my hungry husband). The only thing that struck us as odd was their lack of homemade sauces. After we were handed our sandwiches in paper baskets, we were told to sauce them up from a bin holding bottles of Sweet Baby Ray's, Famous Dave's and a couple of other BBQ sauce options. While the meat was already flavorful, smokey and delicious as it came, homemade sauces would have upped the ante a bit and we were surprised not to see any. You can also top your sandwiches with onions, jalapenos and pickles. You can also buy your meats by the pound which was a decent bargain at $12-14. There is picnic style seating inside their "park" both uncovered and covered tables. Don't miss the jerky and fudge being sold just down the road!

They had to close briefly to catch up with the orders after us and we felt bad. When you first arrive, this is essentially a shack. There's limited seating indoors that's like window seats. Then they have a large outdoor seating area. I do wish there was some sort of shade or covering because the sun was beating down on us. It was very hot and it felt like we were burning so maybe bring an umbrella. Now onto the food. The food was quite delicious. The fries were a good crunch and taste. The jalapeño potato salad was so good. The coleslaw is very tangy. The meats were delicious. We had the chopped brisket and the ribs. They're smoked quite well and the bbq sauce pairings were very tasty. I definitely like the hot bbq sauce (wasn't spicy but had such a good flavor).

We start our snack with the onion ring wow I was immediately surprised as the quality was like a five star restaurant onion ring housemate crispy flavorful perfect. I ordered A sandwich with half sausage and half smoked pork. That was absolutely delicious. I ordered a side of cucumber and onion salad that refreshing cold salad was pairing with perfection with the my smoke sandwich. They have four different barbecue sauces. All of them were delicious, accommodating the smoking of the meat My wife had the pulled pork plate served with mac & cheese this was also a really great mac & cheese, homemade flavorful and combine very well with the pulled pork. She also have the baked beans. This was perfect much much better than "canned bean" And they give us a delicious peach cobbler. I am still licking my fingers the place had to close early that day because they sold out. I was not very surprised because the food was so good that people just have to stop there to try it again So if you go to Breckenridge Val skiing, don't forget on your way back to Denver to stop in the smokehouse barbecue in Georgetown

We saw that this place had taken over the property which if I call was formally Ruby Tuesday which we miss because of the salad bar. So we headed out west to do what we were going to do, got done than started thinking about our options of where to fill our stomachs. We've been to most of the chains that are in that particular part of town and we finally decided this was the best option as it was new to both of us and in my opinion how can you go wrong with BBQ? Loved the ambiance!! Military themed ! Which i respected and to be honest even if the food was trash I would still give it at least 4 stars because I am very strong in believing that our service members deserve all of our gratitude and thanks as well as 1st responders. If i would have saw anyone in uniform I would have gladly paid thied bill!. Anyway you order at the counter and pick up your order at the counter when your name is called and its general seating which is booths, tables and outdoor seating. The ribs were delicious meat was fall off the bone never even had to pick one up. Brisket was offered 2 different ways, juicy or lean, we both opted for juicy. Delicious as well. I had the jalapeño and cheese sausage as well which in my opinion leaned more towards the cheesy aspect but you were able to taste the jalapeños. The baked Mac and Cheese was a little dry in my opinion but it kinda seems to be that everywhere that offers baked Mac and cheese so maybe I just need stop ordering that item. The baked beans were good as well but im not a huge fan of warmed beans but they were still good nice chunks if brisket included. The sauces in my opinion I thought they were a touch watery but had nice flavors. All in all we enjoyed our meal and honestly I wasn't aghast by the bill $65 with 2 " Never Forget" cups to go.where a portion of the proceeds go to a foundation. I will definitely go back and recommend you to go as well. 5 stars
