The reason we didn't take the offer of new food, is because we were done.. 2 hours to get our food, and they waited till the absolute end, to approach our table! Drinks came by in a couple minutes and we had already settled on our food choices. Then the onslaught of food began! HUGE bowls of salad that were then dished into chilled salad bowls. Kimberly left the big bowl for us to have seconds. Then the rolls arrived. Damn. I need room for dinner. Oh well the rolls were smothered in cinnamon sugar butter by me and devoured. I can take the entree home I guess. Well no. The fajitas arrived with tortillas and a side plate of sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. Guess I will suffer through them. We ordered the 10-ounce sirloin with stuffed shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes, which we split because the portions are very generous. We also had a side salad, and it was outstanding. It comes with their creamy garlic ranch dressing, which is absolutely delicious. Before the meal, they also bring warm rolls with cinnamon butter to the table, and they're always a treat. One of the things we enjoy most about Manny's is the fun, quirky decor and lively atmosphere. It's a casual and welcoming place. This visit wasn't quite as good as our previous ones. The service was a little slower than usual, but we believe our waiter was new and still getting comfortable. Our steak also arrived dry and lukewarm. The food itself was good but it would have been even better if it had been served hotter. Even with those issues, we still had an enjoyable meal and will definitely be back. Every restaurant has an off day, and Manny's Chophouse continues to be one of our favorite places to stop after a Disney trip.
