Our server, George, was simply amazing! I would give it 5 stars just for him. He kept our drinks filled, prepared our salads table side, and had a great attitude. I ordered the Filet Mignon and a sweet potato with a Caesar salad. It was delicious. I do wish they offered Bernaise sauce. My brother Jonathan ordered the Filet Mignon and a Baked potato with a Caesar salad. He said he loved it! My brother Bill ordered the Lobster and Filet Mignon with corn and sweet potato with cinnamon butter and a house salad. He thought his food was very nice. You also get plenty of rolls with cinnamon butter. My Mom just shared with Bill and had her own sweet potato. My Mom thought it was a wonderful experience. Always try to make a stop at Manny's when I am down in winter haven! The food quality is always so good and they have so many options to choose from, even if you're not a steak person! The wait and bar staff are always incredibly friendly and you're never left waiting for your next drink. They have an incredible happy hour every day 2 for 1 on drafts, certain wines and alcohols. "PORTERHOUSE FAMIKY FOOD ADVENTURE!!! Went to get some good steaks after walking all night on Halloween. It was so much fun!!! All the staff were dressed up and there were many Families that were there as well. All they needed was some candy for the kids and it could have been an extra treat for them. Maybe at the end of dinner just a few small candies, 1 for each, would have been a good look from Manny's. But that's just a thought I wanted to share. We still had a great time!!! Fiona from Shrek was our Server. Fiona was sat with 3 tables in a row as we were all next to each other. She did awesome was very attentive and engaging. Responded quickly when asked for things life refills on drinks or anything else. The Ambiance is always fin seeing how many new signs you can find when sat in different areas of the dining room. My youngest ordered her first porter house and listened when I said put the potato to the side and bring it home. EAT THE MEAT!!! She did and finished it what a champ, she loved it and now wants to get it every time, but she was quickly informed. ONKY ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS!!! It is not cheap at $39.98 each and hit or miss whether you get a good cut or just an ok cut. Her filet side was pretty thin. My porterhouse was a good cut nice and thick!!! They were ordered to be cooked to medium and they almost got it right on mine it was still a bit mid rare, near the bone, as normal, was on the rarer side, but it was JUICY!!! My daughters was cooked perfectly with the mid rare near the bone, but as stated hers was a bit thinner. The wife got the special 10oz sirloin and 4 shrimp (grilled, fried, stuffed) she got the stuffed. The steak was ordered med well and it was again almost cooked perfectly. It was med well on the edges but the middle was def medium close to med rare. Just a couple more minutes on the sirloin and my porterhouse they would have been perfect. The stuffed shrimp on the other hand was not good. Definitely undercooked stuffing. It had a good flavor, but after we both tried one we took the stuffing off of the other two and wifey just ate the shrimp. I'm not sure if they forgot to put it in the salamander or don't have one, but that stuffing needs some heat on top for browning purposes. This is why the 4 star review on this visit!!! It was our first time visiting Manny's chophouse and it definitely won't be our last! All of our food, including the kids, was delicious! I had the steak pieces with onions and mushrooms and it was great and my wife had the center cut sirloin and that was fantastic. One of the kids had the cheeseburger and she loved it and the other one had the steak on the stick and she loved hers as well and surprisingly it was a pretty large cut of meat on a stick, possibly a sirloin? The ambience and the service we received from Tony matched our superb meal! Tony was extremely professional and attentive and also down to earth. We'd possibly stop in again just to say hello to him! A nice place with some great decor. Think diner meets roadhouse. The food was impeccable. I had the prime rib which was wonderful. We also had the crab stuffed fish, which was good. If you are going to call it crab stuffed, then stuff it with crab--not the fake k-rab stuff. There was some real crab in there, but c'mon. The price point should have been all real crab. Service was a bit lackluster. There were tons of servers all doing things. I think they might have gotten tripped up over each other thinking that someone else was going to do it. We was here once before and the food was so good and the service was good to. We came back wanting to try something different but we couldn't get over the prime rib we had before! So we decided to get the bigger one and share it and add a potato and a salad. No big deal right? We want it medium rare, well it came out meowing! The customer service was great. The menu had a variety of items and it made it hard to choose from. My husband and I finally decided on steaks and they came will what they called all the fixing. You get alot with the meal. You get a unlimited salad, a potato or side of fresh veggies, and their delicious bread rolls. Then when you get dessert, they are gigantic. We'll the one we had was the ice-cream chocolate brownie. Soooooo delicious. Looked like you could feed about 5 people with it. We couldn't finish it. The steaks were cooked with perfection and we plan to go back to try the other menu items like the salmon. The ambiance was great too. Place was busy, loved the interior decoration. Our waiter was great, very knowledgeable and knew his menu. The food, I had the steak bites and I really wasn't a fan of the cut and taste, I added steak sauce to enjoy it. My husband had the ribeye, 4 out of 10, it was well done. One of our favorite places to have a fun dinner experience. I recommend calling ahead for seating. While you wait, grab a drink (or 2 as they are BOGO) have some fresh popped popcorn from the machine and relax. The atmosphere is charming with the walls covered in fun decor such as license plates from all over. Also, make sure to see the Blues Bros display. Once your at your table you'll be well taken care of. Tonight, Val was our server. She was fun and very attentive. I had a 6 oz sirloin and and baked potato. My husband was so happy that the chicken fried steak was back on the menu. They toss the salad at your table. I recommend getting it the way it comes. Our server Sal took his time helping us newbies out on a busy Friday night. With every table in the place full, we got lucky with turnover right as we arrived. There were other large parties waiting but they easily accommodated our table of 3 quickly. The table side salad that Sal accommodated our individual requests was a perfect start with the buttery rolls and cinnamon butter. We stopped by the one near my friend's house in Haines City and there was an hour long wait, so we went to this one in Winter Haven and got right in! Very good service and the food was amazing! Great meals and awesome prices make this restaurant worth the drive! Our waitress was fantastic, always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed and wanted. This restaurant is chock full of fun signage, license plates, and other cool things that are very visual and appealing. Worst steak I have ever had.Had a tebone grizzle throughout very fatty paid $32.00 had friend from NY who had same his not good either. My wife had salmon said it was good. Came here with my family and God kids. Everything was excellent. Called ahead for a party of 11, waited but chowed down on complementary popcorn in the lobby while we waited. The place was filled but the wait I felt was tolerable and well worth it. Once seated the servers, all of whom were super efficient and friendly, moved right away to get us served. They hand tossed salad, handed out their famous fresh hot buns and cinnamon butter. The speed and efficiency, and the neutral and friendly energy with which they did, so impressed me. I love good service, I'll even forgive rudeness for efficient service, but here we got both, efficient and friendly service. The Ceasar tossed salad and buns with cinnamon butter are everything everyone raves about. The breaded coconut shrimp, garlic mash, so good. Then the steak! Char flavor, perfectly grilled medium! Interesting place. It's very eclectic with some of the craziest decor I've seen in a restaurant that costs that much. Sunday night beers were 2:1 which was nice. Their speciality is steak and they have some nice cuts of meat. One of my party had a NY strip that was cooked to perfection. I had prime rib that had a good taste but was over cooked a bit. Appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and mozzarella sticks were good but nothing to set them apart from anywhere else. Your entree comes with an endless salad which is just your standard dinner salad with garlic ranch dressing. The white cheddar Mac and cheese was quite good. A few desert options but those were pretty basic too. For $40 a person I had hoped for a bit more. Great place to go for a special occasion, meet friends for drinks, or just have dessert. We went on a Weds. night and it was packed. Between 4-7 happy hour drinks are half off. We had strawberry margaritas that were yummy. First one was frozen, second one was on the rocks. The rocks one served in a tall glass was the best. Bartender was super friendly and offered to tell our waitress (once we got a table) to make sure our drinks were still within happy hours pricing Wait for a table was about 25 minutes. I've never been to a Manny's before. From the name, I pictured something upscale with steak at high prices. Boy, was I wrong. I had family in town staying at a house rental toward Winter Haven, so I joined them for dinner at this Manny's. First, I was amazed at how super casual it is. It's incredibly popular, too, so we had to wait about an hour for a table for our large party. We received the Endless Salad Bowl for our table to start since it apparently comes with entrees. It was delicious. I'm not usually one for ranch dressing on my salad (although I love it for dipping a myriad of other things), but this made me crave it for future salads. I could have eaten the gigantic bowl by myself. I rarely order steak, but when in Rome... The sirloin steak was one of the best and most flavorful I've ever had. It was so lean and tender. I'm so glad I ordered it, and would do so again. You also get side options and yeast rolls. The food just kept coming! I was truly impressed with the fun atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. I wish I had discovered Manny's sooner and that the ones closer to home hadn't closed. read more

And legend indeed, it was packed (with social distancing enforced). People can't stay away from Manny's, it's too good. To good that it is great, 5 stars no doubt about it. Why you ask? Look at that neon sign outside, I mean hello 1960s, if a neon sign like that is still working and bringing in the locals to a packed parking lot during a pandemic then why wouldn't it be great outside of a pandemic? Yes the food is incredible, loved my steak, loved the bread they kept bringing to the table, Caesar salad on point (that is hard to ruin). Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare (I like it kicking). Good deals as well, 2 for 1 on drafts and apparently their fajitas are jamming (buy 1 get 1 on Wednesday night). Great kids menu as well. It's one of those restaurants you walk in when you are little and your sense of sight gets ignited, because every peace of wall space is filled with something, licensee plates, pictures of all different things and it's just plain fun to look at. You can't get bored just looking at all they have on their walls. Service was great, the time to sit down did not take along as they communicated. It's just a fun place, everyone is in good spirits, because it's a place that makes everyone happy, because it's a great place. You know those places, where you go and you're just excited to be there, that is Manny's. You won't be disappointed. I'm not sure if they go reservations, probably not, so expect to wait a bit, but it's worth it. If you are near any of their 3 locations, don't pass it up. It's a treat, you'll enjoy for sure. From start to finish, exceptional customer service, food, and price. What an absolute treasure. They steak was cooked perfectly, the table tossed salad was great. But what made this visit top notch was the incredible customer service culture. The staff checks in on you several times to see if everything is perfect, the Manager drops by, and the positive energy from the entire team can be felt top down.
