The outdoor seating especially feels elevated now and makes for the perfect Houston brunch spot or night out. One of the best parts about NextDoor is that it's connected to Hungry's, which means you get full access to their menu while enjoying the lounge atmosphere. Being able to order everything from cocktails and appetizers to full meals while at a bar is a game changer. The food is consistently good, the drinks are strong (especially the frozen options) well-made, and everything comes out quickly. What keeps me coming back year after year is the consistency. The staff has always been welcoming and attentive, the crowd is chill, and it never feels overly pretentious or chaotic. It's one of those rare spots that works for everything, whether it's happy hour after work, date night, catching up with friends over drinks on the patio or a solo adventure. I checked the reviews after the fact and noticed someone else described the exact same situation happening to them, which is super concerning. I'm waiting to see if the pending charge drops off, but right now it looks like I'm being charged twice for a small tab. If this is a mistake then it needs to be handled better, because customers shouldn't have to worry about being double charged after leaving. Just be careful if you decide to open a tab here and make sure to check your bank statement afterward. USE CASH SO THEY WONT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU LIKE THEY HAVE TO OTHER CUSTOMERS!
