Came here Sunday night right before they closed. The gentleman looked tired, but he was still nice & made a fantastic shawarma! Hot and flavorful - a real shawarma. Please note that their shawarma is the traditional style, meaning it contains: meat, pickles and garlic sauce (no lettuce, tomato etc.). I'll be back! read more

Stopped by to get some Chicken Shawarmas for some coworkers. Usually they got the shawarma spits going but not today. So I asked if they are open and the gentleman said yes. But beef shawarma which he called a wrap was not available so I ordered some chicken wraps (Shawarmas). I got home and my daughter tells me it's different. No spit roasted chicken thinly sliced with crispy bites. What we got was pan fried chicken chunks with barely any toom in them. I guess that's why they call them chicken wraps now. Sad since they used to have the best shawarmas in Buffalo. Do me a favor and just get rid of the Shawarma name and just call them warps if you're not authentic with your sandwiches/wraps. read more

Saw this spot all over Instagram and had to try it. As someone raised in the Middle East (Kuwait), I judge Arabic food by authentic GCC flavors. We ordered the beef shawarma, platter, and falafels--prices were fair, but the experience was mixed. Staff felt cold, and calling a shawarma a "beef wrap" didn't help. My shawarma lacked garlic punch (should've asked for toum), and the beef was overly fatty with no crisp. Falafels were decent, though one was salty. Not the best, but among Buffalo's better shawarma options. I'd give them one more shot. read more

Been here twice and both times it's been remarkable! The food is to die for and the service is amazing, the lady today was the nicest girl I've met. She was so sweet to me and my son, she made my day. The desserts oh my gahhhhh , yesss, so moist and delicate! The chicken kabob and chicken shawarma were both delicious and flavorful, the tortillas for the wraps are perfect and all the sauces were yummy. The baba ghanoush and hummus were the best! The only downfall is the pita, it's flat, cold and store bought. I'll be back more often than I like to admit. read more

I have had their falafel wrap many times and it's always amazing. The falafel is always freshly fried to order. It's perfect - crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the spice profile leaves nothing lacking. I always get hot sauce on mine. It comes with tahini and their amazing hummus and various veggies. Oh also the bread!! So great. Holds the wrap perfectly. I really cannot say how great their falafel is. The wrap is bomb. read more

Delicious falafel house special! Perfect ratio of cauliflower, eggplant, falafel and lettuce. It was so good. The fries were crispy and hot. The tabouli salad was fresh and lemony. This restaurant opened just a couple of weeks ago. I was eager to try them and came on the second day of their opening. I have stopped more times than I am proud to admit since. I admire the service experience delivered by everyone in this restaurant! They were incredibly friendly. I had a minor mix-up with the item I ordered, and the owner/manager was calm and resolved the issue quickly. Two of their specialty options are Syrian shawarma and Palestinian falafel. I ended up with a cheese steak for a friend who loved it! I had the falafel special, one of the best falafels I had ever had. It was flavorful and packed with lots of vegetables. On Monday, they have a falafel combo unique for $9.99, which includes one falafel wrap, fries (regular or cajun), and a drink. There is street parking conveniently located in front of the restaurant! They are open Sun - Thur from 11 am to 12 am and until 1 am on Friday and Saturday! As always, I'd love to see even more vegan options offered here! This establishment's highlight is the food quality at such an affordable price point. I am eager to see what this restaurant can accomplish in the region. If you're looking for a takeout experience featuring an overwhelming amount of rice and lukewarm food, this might be the place for you!! We ordered the beef and chicken shawarma platters along with a falafel wrap, all for pickup. Unfortunately, the shawarma platters were barely warm and overloaded with rice, which seemed to dominate the meal. Despite arriving at the time they specified, the food appeared to have been sitting around for quite a while, as it lacked both heat and freshness. The flavors, unfortunately, had also "checked out" long before we got our meals. It's disappointing to write this, especially since this is a new addition to the neighborhood and I genuinely want to support local spots. However, these were supposed to be hearty meals for the family after a long trip, and they fell far short of expectations. Perhaps dining in offers a better experience, but as far as takeout goes, this was a letdown. read more

Would not recommend. Falafel has no herbs or spices in it - think it's made of some sort of carb + very little chickpeas. They have no flavor and the texture is quite questionable. Fries are nice. Rice is fine enough. Pita is dry, but not necessarily different from an average pita. Hummus and babaganoush are fine enough but you get maybe a quarter cup with the falafel platter. read more

Food was ok, but cold by the time we could eat it. Went with a friend and ordered together. First order was brought out extremely quickly, maybe within 5 minutes. Friend's meal took another 25-30 minutes. I understand things happen and places may be more busy than they seem with doordash orders etc. But as someone who's worked in a kitchen, this is a big no no and is honestly very rude service. If orders are placed together, they need to be served together. It very much soured the experience as by the time the second meal came out, the first meal was cold as it had been sitting while we waited to eat. This place is excellent. Great flavors. Food made from scratch. The bread alone on this sub I had was a show stopper. Get the homemade sweet chili sauce on the side goes very well with the Detroit style sub. Too many good items on the menu to list them all. Not impressed with the first visit, unfortunately. The inside is very nice and clean. We got 3 shawarma platters, falafel, fries, and baklava. I'm annoyed that they're advertising the platters as including pita as part of the meal, but have decided that they no longer want to include it. I called to let them know, and they said I made a mistake, to which I pointed out it's literally on the menu above the register. The woman then said they changed it and still need to fix it on the menu, but that isn't an excuse to not tell customers as they're ordering, and at the minimum, cover it on the sign. It's false advertisement to just say after the fact that it's been changed, as if customers should just know. As for the food, I didn't find it particularly great. The shawarma was so-so, with large whole cloves and peppercorns still throughout the food that were hard and unpalatable to bite into, the falafel just seemed bready and dry. The fries were crispy and good. The baklava was nice. Overall, we probably won't be back to this spot. read more
