That being said, this is a wonderful little shop. It's packed full of stuff and is nicely organized so it's easy to find what you're looking for -- jeans, purse, shoes, belt, jacket, dress, blouse, etc. There are new and used items and everything here is in really good shape. Like new. The owner is a savvy business woman and a busy one! Four people came in while I was there to sell or consign goods. The owner was having a sale and knew where everything was. She is extremely helpful even while processing a lot of new items. I walked out with a cool blouse, skinny black jeans and a gorgeous purse. I had about an hour to kill in between things so this was a perfect way to spend the time. I learned that New 4 You kind of specializes in formal wear. They have a a huge selection of dresses. Cocktail dresses, prom dresses, party dresses and wedding gowns. What a great idea! Worn once, you can get a beautiful dress at a fraction of the price it would cost new. There is a good selection of everything else too but with a lot less to sift through than a giant Goodwill and everything is clean and very presentable. Two thumbs up.

We brought my daughter's wedding dress to Karen to be hemmed and have the straps shortened. Having one's wedding dress fitted should feel joyful. It's a gorgeous dress that she has chosen and she looks beautiful in it. It might have helped if she had said anything like that anywhere along the line, but M was left with very different feelings. When I asked about a small wrinkle at the waistline, Karen's response was that the dress was too small and couldn't be let out. (I thought the height of the strap might solve it.) When we got to the hem, M said she didn't really want her feet showing. Karen didn't ask how M liked where she pinned it, just said it couldn't be any longer. When it was clear M wanted to take another look at what she had done, Karen seemed to have a hard time shifting gears. She finally said she understood that M didn't understand what we were doing, but that we could look again. It all felt a bit strange. Karen may be very good at her craft, but diplomacy is not her strong suit. Noone wants to be told they are too big for their wedding dress and too ignorant to understand having their hem pinned. The process was awkward and uncomfortable and has had a lasting impact. We took our business elsewhere as M had no desire to see Karen again.

It was so pretty. I ordered it and when it arrived it was about 4 sizes too big I was swimming in it and it did very little to flatter my figure. I looked like a chubby boy in a wedding dress -it was bad- So I searched and searched and found rose here on yelp I saw the transformations she had made to other wedding dresses and I had hope Once I scheduled an appointment and came in she made me feel confident in her ability to fix We had about 4 fittings and each time my dress looked better and better The tailoring was reasonably priced for the immense amount of intricate details and work she did. Over 6 months before my wedding I started yelping around for a good seamstress to help me with the…read morebaggy wedding dress I bought from David's Bridal. I loved the fabric, the back, the train, and the details on the dress but...hated the front/top. But for some reason I bought the dress anyways. Enter Rose and her miracle alterations! She took in the sides, removed the straps, redid a sweetheart neckline with scalloped lace detail, added boning to make up for the support lost with the straps, created a beautifully complex bustle, and made a bunch of minor tweaks so that the dress fit me like a glove. Being a smaller busted lady, this was probably the first strapless dress I've ever worn that I didn't have to keep holding up. Fittings take place in Rose's home and are always a snap to schedule and be done with. The hard part in all of this is probably making sure she has room in her busy schedule for yet another bride :) Thanks Rose for providing my dream dress! My husband and I were able to "dance our asses off" all night without any wardrobe malfunctions (see attached pics).

It was $11 to do a quick wash on washer C60, which seems pricey to me but it was a pretty huge machine. I put 4 quarters in the dryer and that got me 28 min but it was pretty much dry after 15 min. So the dryer seemed like a great deal. No public restroom, which is typical of laundromats, since our country despises people who are poor and struggling, as well as older, incontinent people. If you have time to kill, there are places to check out nearby like Coastal, Club Thrift and Harbor Freight.

Someone yells,"someone will be right with you," yet no one is ever RIGHT with me. They are slow. Making me the customer, feel unimportant. Next, I've never experienced a dry cleaner who has such a hard time keeping my laundry together. They've lost numerous items of mine. It got so bad they had replace a few items. When this happens they acted like it was my fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. In reality, I am not seeking them to replace the items, I want MY items back. They just don't seem to understand that. They do a very good job at making you feel like it's your fault and not theirs. And finally, I want to address the fact that when I get my clothes back from this dry cleaner, they stink. I know I'm not the only one to experience this. It got so bad that I had to switch dry cleaners. Obviously, I wasn't aware of all these things until I experience it myself. Overall, a terrible experience. They never have a legitimate manager available. And when you do ask for someone who has a brain on their head, you'll never find one. . I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CLOTHES TO THIS DRY CLEANER. AND I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. IT'S UNFORTUNATE. BUT ALL I CAN DO IS GIVE YOU MY HONEST OPINION BASED ON FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE.
