Unfortunately, when we went today, there weren't any events happening. So, just a heads-up: events aren't necessarily happening every weekend, even if you see older social media posts advertising them. Overall, though, The Wall is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. While they likely have something in my size that I wouldn't find in a regular store (Size 14), the selection is usually slim and the prices not what I would consider "outlet." But this stop at the North Outlets in Las Vegas proved to be a winner with a pair of fun sneakers for just over $20. I don't tend to wear shoes like this very often, but they were a perfect match for my Las Vegas Aces t-shirt (which I bought elsewhere and actually cost more than the bloody shoes!). Add to this friendly checkout staff and I am hard-pressed to think of anything that they could have done better.

It is a walking-centered shopping center, but some drivers are not letting peds walk in the designated crosswalks. Shame. (In Cali, if you don't give right of way to the peds, you get a ticket!) I give 3 stars because while the selection and colorways available was obviously vast, the prices were in general not that much better, and often times worse, than the Nike factory store. For example, my wife found a pair of dunks she liked for $89.99. But we decided to go check the factory store in eastern and sure enough, they had the same dunk for 30% off $89.99. At the clearance store, the men's section didn't have any "heat", and was mostly full of dunks, Air Force's , and modern basketball shoes. (Though I saw colorways in all of them that I didn't even know existed) The kids section wasn't too good either. The women's section actually had a fair amount of retros. We left with two pairs of women's High OG's, a pair of threes, and a pair of 4's, all for good prices. It's definitely worth coming to look, but it wasn't quite as exciting as I'd hoped.

At night the mantis and mascot for the park lights up and spits fire. Parking is a nightmare here. Best times to come are early in the morning, especially on the weekends. They always have some sort of extra event happening in the area it's part of the beautification of the area. It's truly been revitalized. When we used to come here decades ago, it's was rough . That might be a draw for some families in the area looking to keep their kids entertained. On a Saturday night there weren't all that many people here when it should have been booming. I just think if better quality stores offered more unique items and some really solid food venues moved it, it might be more of a fun night out.
