I called certified on a Friday and the car was in the shop by Monday. After two days they already had the safety and IDOD inspections done, and a full report on every issue the car had (with pictures and descriptions), and a link sent directly to my phone for me to view everything. I decided to take care of the necessary items and most of the recommended items on this list and by the end of the week I had the car back. And let's just say the car is so still when starting now that I didn't even think the car was on the first time I turned the ignition. Practically brand new! Something else came up yesterday and it's going back in today to get looked at. So responsive and very quick, high quality work - and it's all under warranty for 36,000 miles which is unheard of in my area of North Carolina.

My daughter experienced a momentary issue where all the dashboard warning lights came on and the heater blower stopped; then suddenly returned to normal. Out of caution, I took the car to H&S where we'd gone for years to have them check it out. The manager said they checked the battery, alternator, starter...etc. and found NO problem. They didn't charge me anything, for which I was grateful. However, within minutes of driving time after picking the vehicle up, it caught fire resulting in $663.81 of damage to the engine compartment. The St. Charles Co Fire Dept asked if we'd recently had the car worked on and said whoever worked on it didn't secure the battery properly and the tiedown shorted against the battery post causing the fire which is documented in the official fire report. I contacted the manager at H&S who denied any responsibility by stating they didn't remove the battery and blamed it on the last person that replaced the battery. Then I contacted the new owner who also denied any responsibility. He said they had no cameras in the shop area so he can't confirm what they did or didn't do. When I told him I'd been coming to H&S for years and never had a problem until now, he feigned outrage for the perceived insult and abruptly hung up on me. This battery had been replaced by Sam's more than 16 months earlier (and several thousand miles driving later). It is absurd to think that a loose tie-down from more than 16 months earlier would just now show up within minutes of driving after H&S specifically checked the battery and electrical system out. Even if I give H&S the benefit of the doubt, they should have noticed the improperly secured tie-down bar during their troubleshooting/ diagnostics and secured it as a potential problem, but did not. I requested reimbursement for the damages from H&S but they continue to deny any responsibility.

I told the young man that my tire was leaking based on the alert on my dashboard. He offered me a seat and went about checking the tires. He said they would find the problem and let me know. A little later he advised that my tire had a metal shard in it and they were able to fix it. I asked the cost and he said, "No charge." If they are able to fix the tire, they don't charge; they only ask that you patronize them the next time you need tires. I was escorted to my car which was delivered near the entrance and drove home completely satisfied with this encounter. What a great business model.

We called our regular roadside service company through our insurance and the company they called said they could only install a spare tire, or tow us to a tire shop, and when they found it was a motorhome they were not interested in the business. We called another shop that specialized in truck tires and they said they would be there in an hour, but four hours later they had never showed up. I called several other facilities who either told us that our vehicle was too big to service (they worked on cars and pickups) or it was too small to service (when I called a semi truck tire shop). Our RV is a Ford F53 truck chassis on which many smaller commercial trucks are built. After several other calls, with the day slipping away, I called Warrenton Tire and Muffler on the advice of a local Missouri RV dealer. Even though we were 40+ miles from them, they said they'd be there in 45 minutes--I was skeptical after my earlier experience, but they were there in 43 minutes (I kept track). The service person they sent--I wish I'd gotten his name--was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly discovered the problem and had it repaired in about 15 minutes. While he was there he checked the other five tires on our RV which was a good thing because he found another tire dangerously low on pressure. The price they charged me for all that was MUCH LESS than I expected for them having come so far to provide service. Having problems on the road is stressful enough, not knowing who to call, and having several other businesses say they were not interested in my patronage. Warrenton Tire and Muffler relieved all that stress, with friendly, extremely professional service. I will recommend them to anyone in the area!

My daughter had her car in for tires and the young man working on it let her know the back brakes were paper thin which he thought unusual due to the low mileage on a 2 year old car. She made the appointment and come to find out on a VW you need a special scanner to do the back brakes. They tried for over an hour to remedy this but when they couldn't they didn't even charge for the labor. These are honest and trustworthy folks! Don't let the old school building fool you. Top notch!!
