The sled was a lot of fun as my current gym does not have one. Towels are available at the front desk, and the locker rooms are clean, spacious, and well-appointed with showers, a large vanity area, and motivational signage throughout. The stretching room was a standout, offering assisted stretch machines along with open floor space for mobility work. The Chill Zone is an additional premium amenity--members receive one complimentary session per month, with additional sessions available for $20. Overall, it's a polished, well-equipped gym with thoughtful amenities, ideal for those who plan to fully utilize everything the club offers.

Started doing personal training with Natalie S. After one session I feel like a whole new person. She listened to my concerns and my goals and tailored a regimen to my specific needs. Love the Chill Zone - just wish it was included in the membership instead of $20 a session (you do get one free session per month which is nice). The infrared sauna is a great warm down! Grateful for this community and excited to try out more classes. Just wish there were more offerings, the classes I like are only offered once a week.

I had a good experience up here until one night I got 3 back to back calls at almost 8pm on a weeknight. I called back after finishing up dinner and was told my membership is being canceled because I vandalized the gym (which I did not do). Long story short, another Asian woman at the gym used chalk to draw on the wall and they assumed it was me. I saw her do it so I was able to defend myself. I didn't get an apology and I expressed my disappointment with the way this was handled to the owner via email. If you look at any of their responses to low ratings you can guess how this interaction went. There was no accountability, ownership, or even empathy. Not a single apology for the abrupt accusation and also the misidentification. Instead they said that I don't respect their property. I wipe the equipment every time I'm done using it, I put the weights away when I'm done, etc. I personally didn't think drawing chalk on a wall was considered vandalism since you could just rub it off the wall. I also had never seen that woman before so I thought maybe she worked there and was drawing something -- either way it's not my business. There are cameras in the gym for a reason, why am I in the wrong for not snitching in this situation? The accusation itself was an issue that I thought could've easily been resolved with an apology and reassurance that it'll be handled with more care if a similar situation happens in the future. The way this matter was actually handled is even more disappointing and so unprofessional. I know I'll get a wild response from management for this review, but this is your fair warning that there's absolutely accountability or empathy coming from the folks who own this gym.

Conveniently located on First Street and accessible 24 hours, the gym is clean and well-maintained. Occupying the entire ground floor of a building, it has a feeling of spaciousness about it. Doors that open to the small patio area, along with ceiling fans, enable good air circulation throughout the space. Fellow gym-goers are friendly and always willing to engage when you approach them about routines or exercises. No attitude at this place whatsoever. People are genuinely happy to share their successes and reflections on their own self-journeys to fitness, which makes the gym feel like not only a place the place where you can go to work out, but also a place where you can continually learn from other gym enthusiasts about ways to improve your own focus on physical improvement. A sense of a community among people with a common interest in health and fitness, and a willingness to share it, are two of of the most unique and notable characteristics of this gym. The owner, Keith Deidrich, pays meticulous attention to the gym's layout and functionality, resulting in a nice rotation of machines and weights throughout the space. It's exciting to come in to find a new machine, such as the very impressive cable crossover set up, complete with high bars for dead-hangs and pull-ups, or a one-of-a-kind lat pull-over machine that requires the force of your elbows, placed on pads and pushing down, to accomplish the exercise. It's like a squat machine for the upper body. In addition to the machines and freeweights, the gym has add-on weight blocks in gradations of two-and-a-half pounds that are custom-made to be inserted on top of the machine pulley racks to increase the resistance in smaller increments when the built-in 10- or 15-pound increases are too much of a step-up. Being able to use these blocks has enabled me to slowly increase the amount I'm lifting without making a jump up to a higher weight that is just too heavy. And there are plenty of cardio machines as well. In short, this neighborhood-centered gym with its relaxed vibe, excellent equipment, and friendly and respectful members makes working out a highlight of my daily schedule.

Coaching is decent if you happen to catch the coaches on a day where they actually feel like coaching. With the exception being Coach Helen. Front desk girls have rbf, always on their phones and make it seem like you're bothering them when you ask them a question. Poor customer service in general. They purposely hide their 30 day notice cancellation policy for your $179 membership, as a way to make more money off of you on your way out.
