After getting some curb rash on my rim, I contacted a few different companies including Cal Auto Tech for repair, and I couldn't be more impressed. They offer convenient mobile service, they are reasonable and responded quickly, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Troy was personable, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment I spoke to him over the phone, it was immediately clear that he takes great pride in his work and is highly skilled at what he does. When the repair was complete, I honestly couldn't tell where the damage had been. Honestly, my rim looks as good as new! Want told to finance and left the truck. Came to get the truck and got denied financing. Okay well why didn't we check if I could finance before! Who does that?! Now I said if I could split bill and I'll definitely pay but the said NO. Okay then I said put the old tired on and they said they already threw the out! Where did the throw them in the few hours they have the truck that I couldn't get them back. I will gladly give back the new tires. The worse part is the wouldn't release the truck! They holding it! So now I'm carless because they stole my truck! I'm willing to work something out but they just have the worse attitude. I've been a customer before and never experienced this. They also never gave me the paper I signed when I left the truck who knows if them holding the truck is even legal! Do not do business with them! I will talk to the business bureau. Update: 4/27 still do not have the truck and the refuse to release it and they will not help find a solution. Got a call about my bad reviews and charging me storage for a truck they won't give back not to find a solution. Update: 5/1 still won't release my truck. I guess the owner just wants my truck for himself at this point.

I don't think it was more than an hour and he called me back. He advised the problem was the key. It was an aftermarket key so didn't have the "chip" inside to disarm the stock alarm so it was locking out the engine. Upon my return with the correct key, it started and is working now. I know he took time from his schedule to look at it, but Kevin did not charge me for that time. Kevin, you have restored my faith in humanity. Thank you for your kindness. They were able to identify the screw in my tire when another place, which I will leave unnamed, couldn't. They were also able to deal with my tire lock without the key (my family has two of the same type of cars and the key was with the other car). They worked around the lock at one visit, and broke it off (with my permission) on another in order to get me back in the road in a timely fashion. The time when they worked around the lock was in 2024, and I paid about $45. The time when they had to break the lock was a year later and I paid about $75. I especially appreciate their professionalism and ability to not talk down to female customers, which sadly a lot of auto shops still do, even in 2025. Definitely recommend!

When I finally got back and asked them to check it, the manager claimed they 'didn't know' if they caused it. Instead of taking 5 minutes to help a customer, he demanded a $180 diagnostic fee just to look at the fuse. The reality check: I drove straight to AutoZone. A helpful staff member used a tool, diagnosed the blown fuse, and helped me fix it in 3 minutes for FREE. Total cost? $5 for the part. It was indeed a fuse blown during the battery swap. Wheel Works tried to charge me $180 to fix a $5 problem they created. Shameful service.

He was extremely knowledgeable patient and was easy to work with. He helped me through the whole process. I've lifted 4runner's before but this time I lifted a GX470 Lexus. He gave me the exact recommended lift and it turned out. Perfect I'm so happy with the way my GX 470 came out. It's amazing the workers there are very experienced and hard-working.
