Livermore store has been the GAME CHANGER! Appointments slots always available and when I do go to appts, they start on time and don't take too long. For today's appt, I preordered 4 Michelin tires online a few days prior. Unbeatable price! They offer price matching if you find a lower price. The day before my appt, Thomas gave me a courtesy reminder call to tell me what to expect on day of. Also, there is a link on day appt that shows your appt progress and you can notify them you're in your way. Upon arrival, there was a sign with my name on it for parking. Thomas came and greeter me right away and I proceeded to a smooth check in. Place was clean for me and my toddler daughter to draw. They finished up my new tire install within 30 mins. I love this location and today was by far the best experience.

It was an aftermarket key so didn't have the "chip" inside to disarm the stock alarm so it was locking out the engine. Upon my return with the correct key, it started and is working now. I know he took time from his schedule to look at it, but Kevin did not charge me for that time. Kevin, you have restored my faith in humanity. Thank you for your kindness. They were able to identify the screw in my tire when another place, which I will leave unnamed, couldn't. They were also able to deal with my tire lock without the key (my family has two of the same type of cars and the key was with the other car). They worked around the lock at one visit, and broke it off (with my permission) on another in order to get me back in the road in a timely fashion. The time when they worked around the lock was in 2024, and I paid about $45. The time when they had to break the lock was a year later and I paid about $75. I especially appreciate their professionalism and ability to not talk down to female customers, which sadly a lot of auto shops still do, even in 2025. Definitely recommend!

Where did the throw them in the few hours they have the truck that I couldn't get them back. I will gladly give back the new tires. The worse part is the wouldn't release the truck! They holding it! They also never gave me the paper I signed when I left the truck who knows if them holding the truck is even legal! Do not do business with them! I will talk to the business bureau. I thought I would come in here to get a tire rotation, which is a free service that they provide four tires that are theirs. I normally go to the one in Concord like I mentioned, but I happened to be closer to this one, so I thought I would take advantage of it. I was told after the rotation that I would need to get a new tire because there was a nail that was unrepairable on one of the tires. No problem, I thought, since I had paid for an extended warranty on all the tires a few months ago. I was led to believe this would come at no cost to me as a result. I also had paid for a three-year alignment previously, which I thought was a good deal. So, Tim quoted me with an invoice that had $136 alignment on it, but he assured me that it will be taken care of because I had paid for the three year alignment. He also showed me that everything else would cost zero. After an hour and a half, I was up sold on an extended tire warranty, which didn't make sense to me since I thought that the warranty would cover every tire, but I figured it would be fine since Tim told me it would cost $41. Then when they were about to give me the keys, I was charged $140 for services. I thought we were all included in the warranty, not to mention, I was quoted at zero. I was charged for taxes on the new tire (even though the tire was zero dollars), mounting and balancing, alignment, a tire recycling fee, and other labor costs. The extended tire warranty was quoted at $62 even though I was told it would be $41. In my mind, I still couldn't make heads nor tails of all of these things. I even questioned them about it. But I had an appointment elsewhere in the East Bay and needed to be on the road and ended up agreeing to paying $140 for a zero dollar service. I would've been happy paying $41 for the tire warranty but lo and behold I paid three times that. Don't come to this place unless you're prepared to get screwed. I recommend big brand tire in Concord if you must go to big brand at all - at least that place I had been going to for years and I know I could have counted on the folks there and could have trusted them not to charge me extra and not to lie to me about a zero cost service. Heck, go to any other tire place if you have to stay in Dublin or Pleasanton. Some tire places treat you like family. This one treated me like a couple of dollar signs.

I really tried to stay loyal, but unfortunately I now need to find a new place. I scheduled an appointment for a simple oil change. I dropped my car off. After waiting several hours, I called and was told they couldn't get to it. There was no explanation. I understand that staffing issues happen, so I gave them another chance the following week. I dropped my car off in the morning and was told they would call when it was ready. I never heard from them. When I called, I was told to come at 4:30 -- and when I arrived, the car still wasn't ready. The next issue was a tire repair. They told me the damage was in the sidewall and that I needed to purchase four new tires at a very high price. I've been told "sidewall damage" before, so I decided to get a second opinion. Another shop repaired the tire without issue -- it was not sidewall damage. That experience made me lose trust in their tire service. Despite that, I gave them one more chance for an oil change (it's hard to leave a place you've used for years -- you want it to work). I dropped the car off first thing in the morning and was told it would be ready after lunch. When I called, they said it was "on the lift" and would be ready soon. I drove by and noticed it was exactly where I had left it on the street . After several more hours with no call, I contacted them again near closing and was told I could pick it up. It was then in a spot in their lot. I asked why I had been told the car was on the lift when it clearly wasn't. I said it wasn't a big deal, but why not just be honest? There was no response. I also asked whether everything was fine with the car, usually they mention if something needs attention . I knew one windshield wiper was broken and planned to have all three replaced but forgot. I was told none were broken and that I was good to go, even though the rubber was visibly hanging off. Again, no response. There was no service sticker on the windshield, which made me question whether anything had actually been done. Overall, I can no longer recommend this location. I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Doug is hands-down the most knowledgeable, kind, and patient professional I've ever dealt with in auto service. He took the time to explain the entire issue so I genuinely understood what was going on. On top of that, he offered extra help from multiple angles, making additional fixes around my wheels completely unprompted and without asking for a single extra thing in return. He even insisted on a free double-check of my wheels after 20 miles just to ensure everything was 100% safe and secure. That level of care is almost impossible to find these days. Beyond Doug, the culture in this auto department is top-notch. Everyone on the team had a warm smile, a super friendly attitude, and was eager to share auto care knowledge so I could learn more for the future. Doug made a real connection that went far beyond basic customer service. I swear I will never get my tires done anywhere else for the rest of my life.
