Our service technician went above and beyond to repair our leaking sink. We have non-standard bathroom faucets and he had previously tried two different cartridges to fix it. Neither worked. He left and decided to swing by Lowe's and see what they had, instead of having the company try to order yet another cartridge that may or may not work. We had a very positive experience with Alvarez Plumbing. A plumber had stopped in earlier quoting near $7,000 to replace the drain. My insurance company sent Alvarez to take a look at a drain clog. He ran a small snake and found a few twigs. This was a bad sign but the guy suggested a snake with a camera before any big investment. That was done by a fantastic Alvarez plumber for $250. Magic. Cleared the pipes. Water ran smoothly. All done in 45 minutes with no mess in my house or garage. My Home Warranty referred another plumbing company for my broken disposal. I checked their reviews, which weren't too positive, so I called back my warranty service asking for another company. I checked Alvarez and theirs reviews were satisfactory. For me, they were better than satisfactory. Eric came first to diagnose, one day after I called, then Dana came to assist Eric and to finalize the replacement of my disposal. They replaced the pipe underneath that was leaking from the install, tightened my faucet, made sure and checked everything before they left. The business is untrustworthy. They lied to me! Telling me that Old Republic wouldn't authorize the work, but a few hours earlier they told Old Republic that I did not have wash outs for my secondary plumbing lines. Old Republic had authorized the work and and I have wash outs for every line. These dumb ass plumbers never even came to my house! Complete garbage, and the girls that answer the phone kept telling me that they would talk to managers to get me scheduled and call back, but they never called. They were sent to us thru our home warranty but I would definitely use them on my own. Both of the guys that came out to service our issues were super professional and very nice and knowledgeable. We had to call them back out for one of the original problems at no fault of their own it was just a strange thing that didn't show it wasn't fixed until later but they came out right away and again Julian was super nice and got it fixed. I highly recommend them. I don't know about their prices because it was a home warranty claim but their professionalism from the gal on the phone to the guys at my house would make me call them on my own!! read more
