Menifee. They installed a Bradford White water heater (3-4 month ago) and I was very pleased with the service. They were able to squeeze me in the same day I called (I was very thankful), the pricing was pretty standard/average, and they even offered a small military discount. The technician was friendly and installed the new water heater fairly quickly. I was happy to support a local business but because they are a little smaller, they did not haul the old tank away. The technician left it sitting outside on the sidewalk so I hauled it back behind my fence and will need to schedule an "oversized" pick up with the trash company. Not a big deal, but didn't think to ask before hand (but now you know). I recommend their service. read more

A great family owned business where the owner is on the job. I had gotten a ridiculous estimate to repair my sewer line From the plumber my renters had called in an emergency over the weekend to clear the drain. The local plumber I use for small repairs could not handle a job this big and recommended Mark Bowyer Plumbing. They came out quickly and gave me an estimate in writing via email for me to approve. MARK BOWYER PLUMBING!!! A+++++++++++++!!! These guys are EXPERTS!! Finally a PROFESSIONAL plumber that knows EXACTLY what to do!!!! I LITERALLY had 6 different plumbers come to the house. 3 of which were from the Home Warranty company who knew NOTHING about plumbing. The first plumber showed up for a clog and didnt even bring a snake. (Not sure how he thought he would unclog the main line without one). 3 of the plumbers spent multiple hours looking around the garage floor, driveway and yard for a main line cleanout. None of them could find it so i was advised to have one installed. One of them wanted to charge $1100.00 to install a main line cleanout. So i called around and got a different plumber to install that same cleanout for $60.00. Seems ridiculous that the price could be so different for the same thing. After a $3,600 estimate to fix a piping issue from one of the plumbers (which they said was the cause of the original clog), I decided i needed a second (or seventh) opinion. i started looking for plumber referrals from friends in the area. i was referred to Mark Bowyer Plumbing. These guys showed up lickity split! I don't even think i had the phone hung up yet before they arrived!!! These guys are so knowledgable, they weren't even there for 5 minutes before the located the main line cleanout in the front yard that the other plumbers spent hours looking for. They fixed the original cause of the clog and saved me thousands of dollars!!! I found a ton of mold and hideous spores around my hot water heater and called Mark Bowyer Plumbing. I was worried about needing a new water heater and the cost, and also had a big concern my tank was going to blow at any minute. Kathy dispatched their plumbing technician and he arrived in less than one hour. Robert is literally just pulling away from my house right now and found the leak was at the top of the heater, coming from the flex' (the copper hoses), which is causing a drip into the heater and out the legs. Two weeks ago everything was fine, and now I have a ton of mold to clean up. I'm going to monitor and see if the drip has stopped. If it has, I just saved over $1,000 on a new water heater. After reading all of the great reviews I called them on a Sunday because both of our toilets were backing up. They advertise 24 hour service. Was told they would text the guy on call and he would call me back. 20 minutes later , no call. Called them again and was told they would send another text. No call another 20 minutes went by! Really? You advertise 24 hour emergency service and communicate through text messages?!! No follow up from the office either to see if the tech called! Zero stars if I could! I work for a major home builder in the area and am asked for recommendations all of the time, they will certainly NOT be on my list! read more

Within 2 hours.. only crappy part (and this had nothing to do with this company) was the screw was stripped and the shower Handle had to be sawed off. We have used Mark Bower Plumbing for several plumbing jobs, both inside and out. Mark & staff have gone out of their way on all occasions to do quality work, even when thrown a curve ball by unusual circumstances, as on our plumbing-to-septic adventure. They most recently took care of several aspects of a backyard remodel with their usual expertise. When I called they were very nice. I'm sorry I can not remember the young guys name that came out . He was very respectful and very friendly made me feel very comfertable. They told me it would be 85 to come out. He figured out the problem in a few min. Fixed it very fast and had everything back up and running with in less than an hour. He told my husband it was 175. My husband said plus the 85. He said no that was just an estimate the lady had thought I ment something else. I am a little late on writing this review but I called Mark Bower Plumbing and they were able to come out to my house the next day, early in the morning. They missed the morning appointment because they had a plumbing emergency. Mark himself came by later in the day and I must say, he was down to earth, professional and very honest. We had a tub leaking from the master bathroom down into the kitchen. He cut into our ceiling and looked for the leak. The problem is fixed and he gave us a great recommendation for a drywall contractor to fix the hole. We have found our plumber if we need anything taken care of. Our bathroom shower drain started backing up and became worse when the sink was turned on. I called MBP (Mark Bowyer Plumbing), and they sent Brad out the same day. Brad arrived on time, knew exactly where the clog was originating, and took care of the problem quickly. He then fixed a drip in the shower handle as well as a leak in an outside faucet. I've used MBP before and have always been satisfied with their work. This is the second time Brad has come out. He's a very friendly guy with a unique sense of humor. And he's a terrific plumber.
