Okay where do I begin, So I just bought my home about 2 years ago and one of my favorite parts about my home was that it has a fireplace. Well to my surprise there was wood rot around the base of my chimney. Home owners insurance wouldn't insure me until I got it fixed, the first company I called wanted an absurd amount of money. So I lost hope wayyy to soon and just had it capped off to save money. It was a hard pill to swallow. I know it's florida but I love the fire place around the holidays. Highly recommend these folks! They were very knowledgeable about vintage chimneys (necessary, my home was built in 1916), did a thorough inspection and gave excellent advice (alas, my chimney is not safe to use), and came back to install a cover. Throughout the process, their communication was excellent, their estimates exact, and everyone who came here was professional, respectful, and very pleasant. Really didn't know I needed my dryer vent cleaned. Never had it done before. But a neighbor had her vent cleaned by Always A Sweep and was very pleased. So I made an appointment. Joshua came out, explained what he would be doing and even showed me the debris as he cleaned the vent. When finished he explained the importance of keeping the vent clear as well as making recommendations on placement of smoke detectors & number of fire extinguishers. They were very thorough in explaining the procedure for my specific issue and we're able to come the next day. They called ahead of time to let me know on the way. Bought a new washer and dryer and found that I needed the vent clean for the dryer. Called always a sweep chimney and dryer vent service and they came out the next day at the time they said they will be there and did a wonderful job cleaning out my vent and went on top of the roof and check that system and cleaned it. They did a great job inspecting our fireplace and cleaning it. They found it had in the past had a chimney fire. We had them fix and replace the damage and put in a new fire box.
